Never before encountered a company so uninterested in my business. Inquired about 3 parts plus shipping. The original quote was $160 for shipping. I confirmed the parts were undamaged so I said go ahead And they told me to give them a day to pull the parts. 3 days pass and I can them only to dial with someone else who claimed the first person was way off on shipping and it would cost $600 in shipping alone. I was disappointed and told them I’d think about it. I called back a few days later to say I’d like to move forward with the 3 parts and the $600 shipping. I was then informed I would need to provide my OWN shipping. I told them to send me pics of the parts and started making calls. I got a quote for freight and got the pictures. One of the parts was in fact damaged so I had to reassess whether it was worth buying the bundle of parts from them since I have to do bodywork and paint now. I called back after the weekend and spoke to yet another person, asking if they’d ship just the one part through FedEx instead of freight and he said yes, he has a box that would work. He’d get it boxed up and call me the next day. Two more days pass and I call back and dish to ANOTHER person who can’t find any records of this quote/transaction and said he had to look into it and call me the next day. That was 9 days ago. I don’t know how this company manages to sell anything with absolutely no follow up or follow through. Maybe they rely on walk in’s or local business only but I flip a lot of cars and their prices were fair so I would have been a regular. It’s too bad they made it impossible to actually order anything.
Unprofessional. I have never had such rude and thoughtless customer service. Went back on their word as well. Called them out to junk a car waited all day - never showed up. Came the next day and lowered their offer even though there was no change to the condition that we mentioned in the first place. Person who answered the phone (not the pick up guy) was rude and hung up on us. I would never use this service again.
I enjoy Ahmed and his demeanor is lovely. I wish him well and the best of luck.
There was a negative experience that resulted from both of our input which is why I am putting it in at three stars. (Actually two because it really was quite stressful for me now that I think about it.)
I happened into the shop by chance and saw the batteries were for sale. I had been struggling with not enough battery power on my off-grid setup. I was talking to Ahmed about using the batteries for solar. He said his family had an off-grid solar setup and recommended 24 volt configuration, and said these batteries would be good. He seemed confident and knowledgeable so I didn't even research it which of course is also my fault.
Now of course, they were almost all starter batteries, which are no good at all for solar. They don't even list how many amp hours they store because they're not for storage!
Due to the distance from the city of the shop and of my cabin, this unfolded into a fair amount of stress, including essentially a wasted trip out to my cabin. Follow-up stress included several efforts to return the batteries but where the scheduling didn't work out for me, and ultimately storing them for most of a year trying to get them back up to the shop.
Now, again, I share responsibility because I could have researched or known, but when a sales professional offers reassurance at that level of confidence, it's tempting to trust, which I did.
I believe that if I were in the position of someone who had offered that type of reassurance, I would at least try to take some responsibility even if the returns ended up falling outside of a normal window.
We are each handling it in a way that seems right to us -- Ahmed to decline taking responsibility at this late stage, and me to leave this review. I feel peace about that.
helpful owner and very reasonable prices especially compared to u pull. the only real issue is this is an old school junkyard with cars packed tight as possible with nothing on stands. no way to drive back into the yard, difficult to even bring a wheel barrow. he said he does go through and crush every now and then so i left him a note with a few things i would buy if they became accessable.
Drove 35 miles today and arrived at 4:10 to pickup some much needed parts for my truck only to find they were already closed. Closing time is listed as 5:30 so this was really a disappointment. Please update your hours and I will update my review!
WCAS removed a silverado transmission in 2 hrs and loaded in my vehicle in the pooring rain. Great price and warranty. Can't recommend them enough. The mechanic (not to be named) even gave me "dont miss or ur screwed" install pointers. Couldn't be more happy. I now know why my ol'man always went back here!!!
Friendly People, and they went out and got the part I needed. The price was also extremely reasonable, I almost thought it was a little TOO cheap. Lol great experience would definitely use them again!

Buyer beware! Sometimes they charge the same as a new item. Have had good luck in the past getting parts, but things seem to have changed. Thanks to internet shopping you won't get ripped off.
Staff was great knew what they were talking about . no mixups on the part I needed . I will definitely be buying parts from this place in the future !!!
Called day before, went to get part they had no part, and said mabe i was at the wrong yard, so i told them the phone number and yes it was them.then they told me to buy new part! I have never been treated so badly and I have been going to salvage yards 32 years 1st and last for west Cambridge . [Did get my parts at isanti auto] very happy with them
I had phenomenal service and really appreciated the ability to free roam instead of being guided or told to wait while an employee would retrieve parts. Huge selection of vehicles (I personally go for parts for my 79) and fair pricing. I would greatly recommend this scrap yard!
