We purchased a 2016 Ford F-150 at the end of May and continue to be happy with our purchase. However, beginning June 12th and all summer reached out to address some mechanical issues we were having (Troy said we could within a reasonable timeframe) but no response. Reached out directly to Napleton and emailed Troy at Auto Center 7-10 times. I think the quality of vehicles they carry now have improved but not much follow through.. *update- 3 weeks later and still no contact *update- 9 weeks later and still no contact

The clowns at this dealership set-up a test drive for a vehicle and then promptly told me I would have to commit to buying the car in order to test drive when I arrived to take a test drive. This place has a few guys sitting around waiting for suckers to come in the door. Besides this review I've reported the company to BBB and Wayzata chamber. RUN in the other direction from this dealership.

I'm going to start this off by letting you all know the communication from this establishment is in shambles, I've had at least 3 or 4 different salesman call my phone , all telling me to come in and test drive the 2015 Q50 I inquired about , but little did i know the car was sold the night before and they continue calling me telling me to come test drive a vehicle that they no longer have , id recommend looking for a better place to purchase your next vehicle , stay away from here

If I could give a negative star I totally would.. this place is a joke. I bought a 2019 silver Ford edge from them black Friday thinking I was getting this great deal. The vehicle on the outside was beautiful but something obviously was not right mechanically and I didn't notice it until I was almost home which I live two hours away. The car started to sputter and flutter when shifting through gears. When accelerating it would basically stall out before pick up and go which is not right and something was wrong with the tranny. I called them right away and let them know something wasnt right they told me I could either take it to a auto service place where I live or bring it back. I let them know I would be returning it and would see if I could bring it back the next day. Well the next day was a snow storm so I told them I would not drive in a snow storm the sales man said well it's an AWD that don't mean shit to me when cars are flying in and out of ditch. The only person who was kind and considerate would of been their office manager Don. Will not be returning ever again.. not a stellar experience at all !!!

My husband bought a new to us van on Tuesday and today (Thursday) the check engine light is flashing. They also had clerical errors during sale where we would have been overcharged if my husband had not gone line by line. We won't be back. Edit to Add: The manager was helpful and apologetic. 200 miles later we have it back and are grateful it is fixed.

Got a nice (ok, amazing) vehicle at a fair price. Sales was helpful, and friendly. Went to look at two SUVs; both were there and as advertised. Would add the extra star, but they would not replace two older, mismatched tires I felt needed replacement, especially on a full-time 4WD.

Terrible communication from this place. I called and scheduled an appointment to look at a vehicle and then the day of the appointment was told it was going into service and the test drive had to be cancelled. I asked them to call me once it was done and they agreed. A day passes and I get one call saying the car is still in service. I don’t hear anything for another whole day and when I call back they told me it was released from service the previous evening and then sold. I never got a call that it was done service, I would’ve been able to come down and look at it immediately but was never given the chance. I had an appointment set up and they THEY cancelled on me, and then they sold it without ever giving me a call when they informed me they would. Awful. So disrespectful to me and my time.

Went in to buy a vehicle for my college aged daughter. The inventory and the staff was first class. The overall experience we encountered was first class and very clear from beginning to end. Would highly recommend for a used car buying experience.

A sad display of clowns at this circus. I called about a vehicle they had advertised. The car salesman Tom, told me the car wasn't there. He thought it was still getting prepped at their Lexus dealership. He said he would check and call me back. I never received a call back. Today, the alleged "sales manager " Don called and left a message saying he heard that I was interested in the car and to call him back as he had countless calls inquiring about the vehicle. "The penalty close." Don't ever believe that when any car salesman utters those words. A sad display of 70's or 80's car salesman practice. Hopefully the public in the 2020's don't fall for these weak antiquated tactics. I returned the call and "Don" pushed me off to another salesman who told me the car was there and had a cracked bumper. The call abruptly ended with Tom the original salesman in the background claiming he called me back yesterday. It never happened. You've been informed. Beware of doing business here and if you do, take the vehicle to your mechanic and visibly look at everything on the vehicle.

I don't normally leave bad reviews, but I was very disappointed with Auto Center Bargain Lot. I bought my first car there almost 30 years ago, and received excellent service. Now that it's time for my daughter to buy her first car I was kind of excited that she saw a couple at this dealership that she liked. We had just gone to a dealership in Waconia and it was 7:15pm. Before driving 30 minutes to Auto Center Bargain Lot we called. We talked with Ashley. We knew that arriving 10 minutes before they closed (8pm) would not allow us to test drive the two cars she was interested in, but we wanted to check them out to see if she would like to keep them on her list of "possibles". I said that I understood if ten minutes before close was too late, that we would save it for another day. She assured me that we would be fine and that somebody would be there to help us. We arrived at 7:47 and all of the lights were off. We called again and spoke with somebody else. They assured us that if we went to the front of the building, that somebody would be there to help us. The doors were locked, the lights were off, nobody came to help us. We milled about the lot for almost 20 minutes looking at the cars. Nobody came besides a guy that said he was the cleaner. Only one of the cars she saw online was there. It looked nice, but how much can you tell about a car with tinted windows after 8pm? I was very disappointed. We each wasted an hour and twenty minutes after calling and being assured that we were not inconveniencing them and that we would be helped. We were not. I'm assuming that the two ladies we spoke to were part of a call center and not the dealership. Regardless, our time was wasted and you received a bad review.

Despite requesting additional pictures I did not get any. We are about a 4-hour drive from this dealership so wanted to get some additional information before driving up there. When my husband called to talk to them about it, they were really friendly until he mentioned we would be financing locally and not with them. I shared this information with the woman I had been in contact with and that we had decided not to proceed with purchasing this vehicle and that no further communication was needed. The dealership continued to relentlessly contact me via phone and e-mail until I had to block their number and e-mail address despite me asking them repeatedly not to contact me any more. So, if you have anyone you dislike and would like to inconvenience them with relentless phone calls and e-mails, request information on one of the vehicles on this lot. The google reviews are accurate.

Definitely look at the website before walking in to see their inventory. You can also see the carfax on all the vehicles which helps in making a decision. They helped us get a nice modern family car at a price we could afford. Since it was technically purchased at the Lexus dealer down the road I was able to get free diagnostics including an oil pressure test that would’ve run me at least 100$ at a shop when I ran into issues typical for a 10 year old car. They were very transparent about the cars history. Been driving it for 6 months and after flushing the radiator, it runs beautifully. We will definitely be looking here again the next time we need a vehicle.

You have yourselves a real Gem there, Bobby was hands down one of the best down to earth salesman I’ve ever met. I had two vehicles I was going to look at when I went to Wayzata, one was at your dealership and the other one was at the dealership down the road. Bobby explained he was able to help me test drive both of them. He took his time taking us out and was very personable. He made looking for a car less stressful.. You can tell he has a heart of gold the way he looked out for me. I did purchase my vehicle through the other dealership, Bobby went above and beyond. He was so patient and answered all my questions. Thank you Bobby for all your help! Give that man a raise 😉

I didn’t end up buying a car here but was referred down the road to another dealership. I was personally brought over there & the kindest man made sure I was set up with someone who wasn’t intimidating or going to hassle me as a single mom with a small child in tow. Such a kind gesture & it really made me feel safe. Highly recommend.

Zero stars, avoid this car lot. When I walked in, there was another customer talking with a car salesman who was doing the whole, trust me I wouldn't lie to you, you're getting a great car at a great deal. I could hear him gas-lighting her when she would ask questions about the vehicle. Our salesman was friendly in a car salesman way. The vehicle we looked at was overpriced and they we unrealistic with what they wanted for it. He tried telling me that I didn't know what I was talking about, that he could get more at auction. He also hovered around us until I told him to give us some space to talk. If you have a hard time saying no and don't like confrontation you will most likely drive away in a car you didn't want for a bad price. If they had the only car available of the make and model I was looking for, I still wouldn't go back. Avoid this place!

I purchased a vehicle from this location a little bit over a week back. Our salesman, Jason, did an absolute fantastic job helping us quickly close out the deal once we decided on a car. It took us a few days to get the financing figured out, but Jason did great work in consistently calling me and my dad to keep us in the loop, even on his day off. It was a very pleasant car buying experience, and the vehicle works great. Thanks again Jason!

I was looking for a specific make and model of a new Land Rover Discovery. I found one online in their lot for $5,000 under what other dealerships were asking! I set-up an appointment immediately to test drive the vehicle. I came here after days of snow and -20 degree weather so of course the vehicle that had been sitting outside didn't start at first. Ryan and his co worker tried everything they could and finally got it up and running. We went for a test drive and I had my mechanic look it over.... everything checked out. We then began to talk about financing, Ryan and their sales manager Matthew were informative and honest about the whole process. Very down to earth people. They beat the initial interest rate I was given by my credit union. The best part is they took care of my trade in vehicle and I was able to drive off the lot that night with my new car. I had a really good experience here. I highly recommend working with Ryan W and Matthew P. thanks again guys!!

Was looking for a new car for my daughter and found the service and sales approach was top notch, not only for myself, but for my daughter. This being her first office car that she has owned, the experience has been somewhat overwhelming for her at other dealers. Not here. They had honest and straight forward conversations with my daughter and took the time to explain everything so that she knew all aspects of the sale and the contract. Hats off the the team here and THANK YOU for taking an honest approach with their sales process!

I had a great experience at the bargain lot! I was on the hunt for a new truck and luckily I found one that just came in from a trade. They had it cleaned and fixed up for me in just a few days. Matt was super helpful and made sure to communicate everything I needed to know. He made sure the truck was going to last me a long time and that everything was in good shape. Josh was awesome and helped me get financing locked in, even though it was an older vehicle. I'm so happy with my new truck! Thanks guys!

Best used car shopping experience!!! I called 6 different used car lots inquiring about a car or two at each lot, and my conversation with Matt felt the most natural and I really appreciated the information he gave me about their lot. I went in later the same day and Steve showed me the car, we took it for a test spin, and I decided to buy it. I never felt like anyone was pushing the sale on me, everyone was very knowledgeable and friendly. All of the cars on the lot look well taken care of. Their model is to sell the cars within 30 days, so they put the best price on them upfront, and you know these haven't been sitting around very long. I would highly recommend buying here! It was SO much better than my first buying experience!!

I was shopping for a higher millage Chevy Suburban in good shape. Dave Love helped us out. There was no pressure or gimmicks. I found a perfect fit. They were easy to work with on the paper work, and I had the vehicle I was looking for. Being a high millage SUV, I didn't get a warranty. On the way home, the oil pressure light went on. I talked to their service dept. They had me bring I right back to be fixed, free of charge. A few days later, they notified me that they didn't feel comfortable selling me the vehicle because they weren't certain the problem was a simple as it seemed. They offered to take the vehicle back for a full refund. That kind of service and honesty is hard to come by. I'm actually holding off on my search until they get another vehicle that matches my criteria. I just don't feel comfortable shopping anywhere else.

We purchased a car here in April, were very satisfied with the process. Sales people were helpful, business office was easy to work with. After a few hundred miles, the radiator started leaking so we brought it in and they diagnosed and replaced a valve, no charge. Very happy with our experience, including the manager Gary. I'd be happy to purchase a car from them again.

I bought a 2007 Honda Element EX from the Auto Center Bargain Lot and could not be more pleased with the entire transaction. Great car at a great price. I received an excellent interest rate on my loan, too. Everyone was polite and customer centric. These people are well trained and I think they really do care about the customer experience.
