Called a million different people. I was in a crash recently and I lost my parking decal. I called the full on police to find out this is the company who tows only for them to say that my new vehicle is indeed at risk tonight despite it being new and me not having the proper pass due to my car crash. 0/10 stars. Go anywhere else.
Sort of at a loss of words. I called for a jumpstart and they never started it. The guy tried for a few minutes and then quit, although it was regaining power. My ignition interlock was even reading that it was gaining power, like I told him. I said wait a few minutes. He said he can’t start it but he could tow it. I said no because it just needs a jump because I’ve dealt with this before. But he wasn’t patient and left. They also charged full price for a service then didn’t complete. $100 for a jump start? They tried to say the vehicle had more issues. That’s not true because I then uber’d to the store to buy my own jump pack and what do you know.. the trucks running. So thanks for literally nothing.
Thank you so much you are life savers! Your driver is amazing he needs a raise. He is also hilarious to joke with. Keep up the great work others would have cost more especially my AAA. I was given their number in a Kwik Trip parking lot. If the woman who gave me William’s number thank you so much you are a blessing from heaven. There are still lovely people on this planet. If I could give them more stars I would. I recommend this company always.
Horrible customer service. Dispatch hung up on me and told me to drive to their place to find out how much it would cost to get my car, THEY HAVE MY CAR!. This after their driver said he would take my car down for $100 cash, then he took off with my car. At least Wesley was nice when I picked it up, but they charged over $400, it went 20 miles and was picked up within a half hour.
Customer service is AWFUL. I called Williams towing 2 times today regarding my car being towed after I had fled an unsafe home situation with my children. I had been attempting to get information about my car since recently finding out where it was located this past week... I was told that I was unable to retrieve the belongings in my vehicle without paying all fees that are due first.. I have NEVER heard of this and looked it up. Under Minnesota Statute §168B.07, Subdivision 3 and 3a, I am entitled to access and retrieve personal property not affixed to the vehicle (including but not limited to clothing, documentation, electronic devices, tools, children's car seats, medications, and other personal effects) without being required to pay any towing or storage fees.
You are legally required to make these contents available for retrieval at no cost, upon proof of identity and vehicle ownership, and to do so within reasonable hours as outlined in the statute. I am prepared to provide all necessary documentation upon arrival.
I am unable to find any policy stating this. When I called back I asked about this and and didnt understand why they could not allow me to grab my belongings. I told them that the contents were all of everything that my children and I owned, and I was met with aggression, zero compromise, zero compassion, and they couldnt care less. I have NEVER had such a nasty experience with a tow company ever.
Do not allow these guys to take advantage of you. They have a good deal going with the police and know it. Use Karels towing! 24 mile tow for $218 vs 13 mile for $345 plus 3 days storage @ $60. Car was brought in at midnight on Saturday and picked up at noon on Monday. Spread the word and help us all out!
I had literally driven my truck off the edge of a driveway and my right front tire was hanging off an embankment.
It looked like an impossible situation to solve.
After calling several tow companies I was given very discouraging comments about getting my truck back onto the driveway. Also very high costs.
We called Williams and the dispatcher worked hard to get someone there quickly. He was a real problem solver and got my truck back onto solid ground in no time. Super reasonable price as well.

Not very smart or professional of your driver to be tailgating a flatbed semi driver loaded heavy with utility poles with your company name on the doors. I can't say I would ever use your company's services. This happened 8/8/24 at 2:00pm going west on US 12 from 494
I don’t understand the price being charged for the “POLICE” to have this company come and tow a vehicle to their company lot (William’s Towing). Over $500 overnight _ TRULY OUTRAGEOUS! They IMO have an operation going on and it may very well include the police. The guy bragged about HIS $150,000 truck he owned while telling me it’s normal to charge an out of work “down on his luck” an over $500 fee to retrieve his vehicle. What is going on with this company— Anybody know… STAY AWAY!!
On 7/13/24, the alternator went on my car. Williams was my first call and Craig called me to give me an ETA. He showed up and was beyond helpful and actually cared. Highly recommended by me if you need a tow.
I thought I'd given them a problem they couldn't solve! I was so wrog! They did it professionally & carefully, using a lot of problem solving skills!

Illegally towed my car from my company's parking lot. They did damage to the rear bumper and then demanded that I have a title present to get my car out. I do not need a title to get my car out of a lot that is illegal. I will never use Williams for anything ever.
My son’s car was brought to them and he didn’t seem to mind them but I felt that they weren’t very professional with us when we had to get the car cleaned out. I felt like we were inconveniencing them by asking if they could help us get his trunk open. Kinda rude.
Just the circumstances made it icky. The lady was nice. Offered discount on cash payment. That was nice. Although they did leave the passangers fron window all the way down.
My car broke down at 1045 pm on my way home from work with temperatures at -1 and I have AAA and I called them and 2 hrs later AAA responds that they can't do it and I should find my own towing Co. I have AAA gold membership and this was they service they gave me. Needless to say I called Williams towing and they had my car picked up in 20 minutes and delivered to my house. Steve was professional and speedy. Williams towing is the only towing company that I will use from now on. They serve the southwest metro area and and its to bad they are not available to everyone. Thank you Williams towing for exceptional service.
Our van broke down while driving home on Christmas Eve and Williams Towing did an incredible job making a tough situation so much better. The driver was there quicker than we expected and also parked his truck to block people from coming close to our vehicle while transferring our items to a different vehicle.
I cannot say enough good things about them and they would be my first call if I have a breakdown in the west metro area.
My son got in an accident and they were there on the scene before me. I was upset about the crash but the guys at Williams Towing were professional and kept me calm. They took great care of my car. They were very helpful about the process. I had to pay out of pocket and they worked with me to make it happen. I am so glad they were there for me and my family when I need it the most. Used for a winch out last night. Had called AAA and Nissan Connect. Both of which left me stranded for over 7 hours trying to send people from 60 miles away. I had called around earlier looking for someone and was being quoted 240-400 dollars. After the third failure on Nissan's part I called more places and these guys were still open at 1am and we're courteous and friendly. I would give them 10 stars if I could.
Towing truck arrived fast, big thanks to that, as the snowy weather was raging.
The rate I paid was surprisingly much lower than I expected. Towing truck operator, cannot remember his name, starting with "Av" was awesome. He got me out of the deep ditch in less than one minute, as my car was burried in snow. I didn't even have to get out of my car. Will definitely recommend their services to family, friends, or anyone in trouble. Satisfied above and beyond.
We had a truck go down late on a Friday night and needed it towed to our dealership. Williams did a first class job taking care of us, and the customer service provided by their technician, Brandon, was second to none. Steve came out and helped us on this blistering hot day (93°). We had a flat tire and could not get the spare off the back as the locking mechanism was not working!!! He was professional and got us on the road in no time! Making sure our spare was full too!!! My friends son couldn't stop saying how nice of a man he was. Thank you!!!
Williams towing was called out by our insurance company. Our tow driver Steve had his hands full today with our cars. We had an alternator go out in the one vehicle and stalled out on a no shoulder road. When I was following my fiance and drove around this driveway still managed to slip into the ditch. Well happy moving day and Anniversary to us, thanks to you all!!
I had these guys tow my beloved vintage VW Bus to my mechanic. They were fantastic every step of the way. Very friendly when I called to arrange the tow. The driver was very professional, and right on time. Was extremely careful hooking up and putting my van on the truck. The fee was very reasonable. I will definitely use them again. Great job guys.
I'm betting most of the customers these guys get are not typically in a good mood, given the type of business they run, yet the the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The owner drove me out into the yard where I was able to climb around in our teen's totalled vehicle to collect his random belongings as well as take a number of photos of the car. They helped us decide the best way to dispose of the vehicle and made the process so quick and painless, which we appreciated, since we were dealing with the aftermath of a major car accident.
I was VERY impressed with Williams Towing. I called from out-of-state needing to find assistance for my son's family car that was stuck in a snowbank in Minnetonka, MN. I had called many tow companies through the day, discovering they were all maxed out due to the demand from a bad snow/ice storm, and had no availability. Another reputable company suggested I try calling Williams. My call was answered right away (no requirement to leave a voicemail for a return call), and they arrived within the hour. The car had sat roadside (stuck) for over 24 hours and wouldn't start. The driver tried jumping it 3 times (he certainly didn't have to go to that trouble), to no avail. Upon delivery he gave them hints on how to start it once the temps rose in the morning (checking the starter), and offered to 'come back' to the location to install a new starter for them for a 'very' reasonable cost. I would highly recommend their service (and exceptional kindness) to anyone needing towing. I felt blessed by the 'Minnesota kindness' I knew from living there for 25 years. These are the things that mean the most on a stressful day.
