I had dealt with my roadside assistance through my insurance company and it was hours of waiting and they still couldn’t get my car going. I contacted James who made it to my parking ramp within 30 minutes got my car jumped and was prepared to tow it if need be. Which wasn’t necessary. He was on time, answered his phone when I called and didn’t give me the run around like my insurance company. That said I now have a reliable person to call if I’m in a bind. If I could give 10 stars I would!
James is the man, he said 30 minutes or less and meant it. Any other person could have towed my car for more money but James decided to help me out and just unlock my car, saving me money and being a good guy, did it all super quick and effectively, would recommend to anyone.
If I could give more stars I would as well! Super friendly, polite and professional guy! He kept me updated with his arrival with phone calls. He got my Tahoe safely to my mechanics. Took a picture of my truck at the drop off and called me to let me know it was there! Definitely call Veterans!
Surprisingly fair rates! I needed an emergency tow almost 40 miles and Veterans Road Service came through big time! This will be my first phone call every time I'm in need!
After getting stuck on a dirt road during a really bad weather day, and getting hung up on by the business referred by my insurance, I gave James a call and he was there to help me out in 20 minutes.
James was very professional, knowledgeable and showed a ton of empathy.
My situation was far from ideal, but he was able to get me out quickly and showed his experience and expertise with the strategy he used to pull me out.

James did an amazing job at helping me change my flat tire. Excellent customer service, kind, and knowledgeable. My car is so old and rusty that I wouldn’t have been able to get it done without his help! The service was quick and he made sure that I was able to drive away just fine. If I could I'd give James 6 stars. I had a unique situation- a mini excavator on it's side in a hole. With care and some ingenuity he got it up right and out of the hole. He did a fabulous job. If I need towing service in the future I will be calling him again.

Needing a tow sucks, but James made the experience exceptionally pleasant. He got to me right away, was very professional and super friendly. I could tell he had a lot of experience dealing with different types of vehicles and knew what he was doing. The whole time we made small talk about our cars, our kids, and even the football game that's was going on. All at a very fair price. I don't typically make it a habit to need a tow truck, but his is a business card and phone number I am absolutely saving. Highly recommend.
Got stuck in a tight parking ramp in downtown Saint Paul - roadside wasn’t able to send the right type of truck. I ended up calling Veterans, knowing they helped me out a year ago with a break in. He got there in 15 minutes, and he was so cautious and intentional with his work. I was really impressed by the time and care he put in - and it was a tricky spot to get out of! Saved me a lot of worrying and waiting on my insurance company!!
James was very fast picking up my car less than 35-40 mins after calling him last minute. He kept communication and even sent me photos of my vehicle and the service center it was dropped off at. I really appreciated that and never had any tow service do that without me asking. Thanks again most definitely was a life saver and very reliable. Will call again if I have any future issues.
Having to get a car towed is no fun but I have to say James made the experience so much better. He was prompt, professional, understanding and pleasant to chat with. The price seemed reasonable for what all was involved. I got his card and if need be will call again.
If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I needed my car towed but I had to get my kids from daycare and didn't leave my keys in the car because I was unsure of when I would get it towed. Then I called Veterans Road Service and Towing and he was very accommodating and worked with me to get my car to where it needed to go the same night. My car shortly after wouldn't start and I had some insurance drama on my end, and he worked with me again and was very patient and understanding while I worked through that and again got my car towed the same night.
The price is incredibly reasonable, he was looking out for me on getting the best price even if it wasn't with him (he is the best price).
He is a hard working family man and I would recommend him to anyone. Responds fast, payment is easy. Makes a stressful situation much less stressful.

I blew the inner dually on my 30ft class c motorhome. I happened to find James's info via Google search. He was out in a jiffy and jumped right into problem solving my predicament. His never quit attitude was able to get me back on the road at a fair price. James is a veteran and loves to help people, especially fellow veterans

After a horrible experience with a different company, I phoned James at Veterans. He was courteous, informative and honest from the start. We have a tight driveway and he was able to get the truck in and the car hooked up no problem. He showed up on time, again he was very courteous and efficient. Additionally he ensured that the car was hooked up so no damage could be done. Worth every penny and he is the only towing service I will use in the twin cities from now on. You can't go wrong with veterans towing, especially if you're a disabled veteran.

Since we were from out of town, we didn’t have any connections to area mechanics , but James found a really good shop that let us leave our vehicle—even though it was late Saturday of Memorial Day weekend.
He also is very knowledgeable (he correctly diagnosed why we were having car trouble) AND super kind (he waited around with us until our ride came, even though it was around 11:00 p.m.).

James was awesome I called to get a quote for a tow and he was charging almost $30 less than everyone else. Also when I told him I had to wait a few before doing it he said okay and when I called him back to start the tow he remembered who I was and got here quick. He told me what he was working and and came here right after. Very friendly while hooking the car up. Will use him next time as well. Really recommend him for all roadside assistance.

James was so kind. He showed up within the hour of our needing assistance. Our car was loaded quickly and efficiently. James was so kind and patient with my being flustered and scatterbrained due to my vehicles’ breaking down. His communication was excellent, price beyond reasonable.

I can not thank this man enough. I came out here early Saturday morning from Illinois to pick up an suv and tow it home. The winch on our trailer stopped working. And after spending the entire day and evening trying to get a new one to work, we failed and ended up in a hotel. Today is Sunday and we spent all morning to find someone to help us and thought maybe a tow truck could get the suv on the trailer. James answered immediately and patiently listened to my dilemma. He was intrigued by the challenge and prompt to offer his assistance to see what he could do. This was by no means an easy task. The qx80 needed to be pulled out of an area, and then James needed to reverse his truck unto my back end and back up the suv unto the trailer. It took the work of james, my husband, and even myself, all working together to get it successfully unto the trailer. This was almost a 2 hr task. James was super detailed to make sure no damage was done to the suv as it was a super tight squeeze, but also to calm my nerves as I was very uncomfortable being so high steering this vehicle onto the trailer while having no brakes, on a hill, trusting him not to let me go or press a wrong button etc......my nerves were high. Once successfully on the trailer my husband asked for help tying the Vehicle down. Not only did he help, but we were short two straps so he met us at farm and fleet to ensure we got everything done safely. I'm beyond thankful for him and helping get us back on the road to home. I know everyone always looks at how much someone may cost, but his assistance and going above and beyond no price tag could measure. Thank you James. My hero! He was out within 15 minutes to tow my car which had broken down near a busy intersection. Ensured my vehicle was safe and secure at the mechanics shop. Went above and beyond to help me troubleshoot the issue while it was up in the air. I appreciate what he did for me, you will also appreciate his kindness and compassion.
I got a flat tire in highway early morning and didn’t know what to do. He solved the issue so fast and suggested me what to do next — it turned out that the rim got broken.
