This company feels and seems wrong. I went in with a valid license, my proof of insurance was in my vehicle in which I was told I was not allowed to get. And was denied getting my vehicle back because the title was not in my name. I understand I was parked illegally but I came into your establishment willing and ready to pay your fines with two forms of identification and ownership. You guys are scum and making a living by taking from people.

Got some trash driving one of your trucks around the University area. With no rear plate it made it hard to get picture of the plate. They were flashing their emergency lights at cars and speeding in this truck 15 mins ago. Have multiple people who were in my car and saw. I wouldn't use your insurance to call this company even for free after what I just saw. If they ok that behavior they're all on drugs/criminals or they run on nepotism.

Completely useless, called to get a vehicle towed out of a reserved parking space, was assured that a driver would be out very soon as they didn’t have any other calls pending. 3 hours later I get a call stating they haven’t even been dispatched to this address and asking if the unauthorized vehicle was still present, this was the exact moment the vehicle pulled away so the call was cancelled. 3 hours and no justice served. Do yourself a favor if you’re a contract Parker and buy yourself a boot and a chain, deal with these idiots yourself instead of waiting for useless cedar towing to do nothing.

Okay, I know it seems a little strange to give 5 stars to a place that no one wants to go. It feels a little strange to post this as well. However... I haven't looked but I'm going to guess they probably don't have many 5 star reviews. I'll be the ardent citizen committed to data integrity and fair statistical feedback that I am and try to tip the scales a bit. GETTING THERE I called on a Sunday morning, someone answered right away, and once I provided the vehicle's make and model, they were immediately able to confirm that it was in their possession and disclose the cost. I used Google Maps to navigate there and the building itself was a little hidden but I easily found it. THE MONEY PART I was pleased to learn the cost would be $201, which is less than I was expecting!. They accept all major credit/debit cards and cash, & not checks (who really does these days anyway?). They also have an ATM available to use right in the lobby. IN SUMMARY As annoying as it was to have to make this trip, the experience was actually pretty seamless. They are open 24/7, fees were lower than I expected, they accepted multiple payment methods, and simply required us to provide a driver's license, proof of ownership (title, registration, insurance card, etc. - we used a digital insurance card). I think they allow you to go into the vehicle to obtain registration during the day though. They were very helpful and quickly sent us on our way. I also really appreciated the attached signs they had hung up.

DO NOT BUY OR BID ON ANY VEHICLES IN THEIR AUCTIONS! Last month I bid on a vehicle in their auction. They showed a quick video of the vehicle running and driving. You are able to see photos of the vehicle but watch to quick videos. You are not allowed to inspect or even see the vehicles you are bidding on all you have is the information they present to you. They also claim they know nothing about the vehicles ( they are the only ones that know anything about the vehicles they are auctioning off and keep it that way and hide behind it) The vehical I bid on was shown driving back and forth and their was no indication that there was anything wrong with the transmission and a check engine light was not present ( was likley cleared by Cedar Towning) . You are not even allowed to see the vehicle until you have fully paid cash for it. As I waited outside for my vehicle several tow truck drivers were bragging and laughing about all the vehicles they damaged while towing and moving vehicles. When I finally saw my vehicle I didn't take long to figure out that it needed a new transmission that was going to be $5500 to repair along with many other repairs. Cedar towing could care less they had their money from me. So roughly 2 weeks after the auction the vehicle now sits at Upullrparts in Rosemount. Do not do business of any kind with the heatless people.

Looking at this company after my truck was impounded for parking in the wrong spot. I went to grab lunch to go , and less than 10 minutes my truck was gone !! I am new to this part of Minneapolis and didnt realize this area seems to be divided among thugs in the towing business ... seriously , anyone who calls a tow truck company , do they show up in 5 -10 minutes ?!! these group of thugs going under a business name of "Cedar towing " show up within 10 minutes to tow my truck that I didnt even realize it was marked that way .. When I called their number, they indicated that they have my truck, and I was told I need to show Driver license, proof of insurance and proof of title , in order to get my truck. I took a cab to get there, and as you arrive to the Cedar towing and auction area, you get uneasy as if you have walked into a drug cartel neighborhood. The posted a sign once you enter this 3X 3 low class office ( hard to believe they charge this much to have the tow/impounding removed and yet their office so horrible ) , which states that before anyone complain, they are doing their jobs because people parked in business parking lots, which inconvenience other business customers ..and that they are doing their jobs.. Then after back and forth, ended up paying $ 283 for Cedar towing , after they were satisfied that the truck belonged to me comments When I read the multiple negative reviews , and based on my experience and what I have witnessed myself 1) I would never hire such company if I want to have my car towed anywhere in the city of Minneapolis..why anyone would deal with dishonest group who the only thing they are good at is pounce on people who mistakingly park in the wrong spot 2) I understand business job to deliver a service to people who are in need. They get hired by business which are as shady as their business if not even worse, and I wont be surprised if the deals between them are as dirty 3) not only they lack honesty, but intelligence as well. Why do they ask for proof of insurance and proof of title. If my insurance card shows I am the rightful owner of that car which is stated clearly on the insurance card. And less than an hour ago , I was in my truck and now you want proof that it belongs to me…and I have all the evidence that proves the truck belonged to me. 4) you talk to a customer agent behind shaded glass that you can hardly see the person and asked to hand money/ documents through a small slit in the glass as if you are exchanging items with dubious people. 5) A Big clue of a shady business, they ask people to pay $ 300 - 500 in cash, without an option to pay by debit. And they are quite that sneaky having an ATM as a convenience, because they are quite worried about people whose cars got towed , right ?!! They want their pay in cash, and people have no choice as their vehicles are impounded by this gang. 6) there are few reasons to ask people to pay this much money in cash, and they also charge state tax on top of that, to give the illusion they will pay the IRS tax . 7) I read multiple reviews about Cedar towing , impounding cars which had parking permits upon the request of the company which hired them to do this shady business , and even if one sees them hooking their vehicle they will ask for $ 100 to let it go, before towing it away. 8) I am honestly shocked that such business continues to operate and function in a city like Minneapolis , and read many reviews which either complained to the office of Attorney General and few they are suing this business. I know most who are in their right mind wouldn’t call them for their business except businesses whose practice as shady as theirs. Stay away from this company ,and let other people know that such company still exists
