Called the boss he sent a guy over to me via phone we set the time up and the next day he just flat out says he’s not picking it up because he doesn’t feel good. I get being sick and not coming but when I ask to schedule a different day and I get nothing that’s just pathetic.
They don't even deserve 1 star because they are a bunch of lying, scamming exploiting thieves. They quote you $200 dollars & then after you've handed over the title & signed their bill of sale they tell you they can only give you $100. They don't even have the decency to keep eye contact as they lie to your face & swindle you. Despicable shameful liars.
Highly recommend!!! The process was extremely fast. They picked the vehicle up within 25 minutes of me calling, and gave me no problems at all for not being able to find the title. I truly thought I would have to pay to have it removed, so I was extremely surprised that they were paying me! Both of the men were very helpful and kind as well.
I scrapped my car with them. The amount they quoted me was more than most of the other places I called. I called them in the morning and within an hour or an hour and a half they were there. Tow truck driver was amazing. The whole process was easy. I do recommend this place if you have to scrap your car.
I prefer to give my business locally. Not wanting to deal with out of state or large companies I decided to Google local auto recyclers and I'm so glad I did! The experience was flawless, punctual, professional and super knowledgeable about the area in general. This business will stay in my phone's contacts!
Emailed them to get a quote for recycling a car. After a brief negotiation via email they called me and scheduled a pickup. Got the car towed off and cash in hand less than four hours after my initial email. Very punctual and easy to communicate with. Lightning-fast at hooking the car up to the tow truck as well.
One of the best experiences I’ve had with a towing company. They were fast and efficient. Unfortunately I cannot remember who helped me out but he was relatable, flexible, and very friendly. Will definitely continue to do business with them.
Great experience. Office manager Mike was nothing but professional. Tow truck operator Is a younger guy but don't let that deter you. This guy drove from Fridley to Bloomington to help me out. I would highly recommend this operation to anyone.
I worked with Mike to get my old car recycled. After calling 5 other places and never getting a hold of a person. I call J &M auto recycling and Mike was super helpful. He did a great job of telling me what I needed to do, and he was also very flexible picking up my car. Definitely would call him again.

We made arrangements for JM Auto to take two cars out of our driveway. They were courteous on the phone and showed up right on time. They took the cars away no problem, and even went the extra mile of helping us drag a third car our of the garage that we needed gone. A great experience, would hire again!

Our company needed to have a vehicle towed away to The Courage Center on very short notice... like just a few hours short notice... Called Mike and he made it happen so quickly AND kept me updated every step of the way. When the vehicle was picked up, when and where it was dropped off, etc. He took care of payment over the phone via PayPal and had receipt emailed within minutes. Still can't thank him and J&M enough.
Mike was great to work with. Our vehicle was a totaled on at holiday weekend. And very few shops were opened or willing to take our car. Mike stayed open so we could have the vehicle towed to his shop. He was both pleasant and professional. And gave us a fair price. Would highly recommend J&M Salvage.
Totalled Truck was sitting in tow lot, wanted to junk it but wanted the battery and tires because they were brand new this year. Called a couple places before J & M and got response like "soonest we can be there is tomorrow or have to have battery and tires/wheels" J & M worked with my wants, came and picked up the vehicle 30 min after I called them. Nick was so nice and friendly. He was very patient while I got the truck released and my stuff out of the truck. It was so wonderful working with J & M Auto Recycling. Highly recommend!
These guys are awesome! I called and got quotes for my junker car, a 1992 ford tempo, and they offered me the best deal of the 5 places I’d looked up, to purchase it for scrap and tow the car. The driver was timely, communicated with how long it would be until he got here, and he was very pleasant to work with! He jumped the car, backed it out of the garage, and even let me go back in and get a cd out of the player that I almost forgot about!! If you need to get a car junked for some cash, or just need a good friendly spot to call for a tow, I highly recommend the people at J&M Auto. I can’t believe how easy and smooth it all went-undrivable junker turned into cash and a free tow in no time:) Thanks very kindly once again, J&M-you guys rock!!
They were on time for our appointment and the transaction took about a minute or so. Very painless.. traded the title for cash and we got rid of our junked car. Definitely best deal in the metro as far as scheduling and payments go. They paid twice as much as other companies do for the car.

Called today to have my car towed out of my driveway and they said “ yeah were gonna pass” after I talked to them last week about it and they were actually going to give us some cash for it. Mickey Mouse operation over there! I do not recommend
Super fast and friendly service. They were able to pick up our dead car with an hour or two from when we called and paid more for it than anyone else we'd called.
This father/son establishment got me out of a tight pinch after I was involved in an auto accident on the way to the airport. The folks at J&M were always quick to answer the phone. The owner Mike showed up early, paid cash on the spot, and rescued my salvaged Mitsubishi from an airport parking lot before they could charge me for an additional day.

I filled out a simple, straighforward form last week online to get a quote about hauling away my old, undriveable 2001 vehicle in Minnetonka. By the next morning, I had received a reply. It was the best offer after having called several places around the area (some places said Minnetonka was too far even though their websites say they pick up throughout the metro). I then called, and I made an appointment for a weekend pick up with Mike, who was courteous and friendly throughout the whole process! Great experience on my end and would recommend J & M to anyone looking for fast, friendly, reliable auto removal service.
Long story short: If you're looking for someone who is friendly, reliable, and doesn't beat around the bush with salvage quotes and scheduling tow times, then go with J & M. They actually pick up their phone when you call and can be there to haul your car in a pinch. No seriously.
My car died unexpectedly and needed to be hauled off to a junk yard. On a Friday afternoon, I called about 5 places in the area to get a quote and schedule a tow. J & M was the first place I called. Mike picked up immediately, gave me a quote, and said he could be there in 10 minutes. Before I made any decisions, I wanted to call a few more places first. Two of those places didn't pick up the phone after calling multiple times during business hours. One place wouldn't give me a direct quote over the phone and said I need to text their other line. Another place gave me a quote that was comparable to J & M's quote but said they wouldn't be able to haul my car until Monday. So I was back to J & M. I had to reschedule multiple times (given my limited mobility without a car), and Mike was very understanding of that. Eventually we met up, he helped me get a few things off the car that I wanted to keep, made some friendly conversation, and we were on our way. J & M is a very small operation, which allows them to be simple, easy, reliable, and personable, and for that reason I absolutely recommend them.

I was broken down with my little dog in the car when they pulled up to get a pizza on lunch. I asked if he towed cars and he said let's try a jump first. After 4 more jumps and him even working on my battery connection, the car wouldn't stay running. Given my car not wanting to stay on, and him being so nice and genuine, I admitted I was brand new to town and knew no one, so I asked for a referral to a trustworthy mechanic. He recommended a shop just up the road. I insisted on buying his lunch for all his help and he even followed me to the shop to make sure I got there okay.
I am a female law student so I am skeptical of businesses taking advantage of a lady in distress who knows no one in town. This business was the opposite. They were professional, curteous and spent a good 45min of their lunch just trying to help me get out of the parking lot. They also saved me a few hundred dollars and a LOT of hassle and grief. Not to mention the shop they referred me to will be getting a 5 star rating as well. I would absolutely recommend J&M to anyone. Thank you J&M!!
