My cars popped a tire so I called for their services. The representative informed me of my roadside assistance with Progressive that comes with towing free of charge. Needless to say they saved me $100 for a tow. Will definitely be recommending this company in the future
Just used KMA to haul my 1957 Corvette. Handled my baby with a white glove treatment. Very pleased. Driver and assistant were extremely helpful, pleasant and accommodating every step of the way. Would recommend them highly!
This guy has the right tool for the job. After another well-known twin cities towing company attempted and failed 3 times to pull me out of the ditch on a snowy, slippery night, Phillip showed up in his green machine and made it look easy. He's a pro & took good care of my vehicle - just like he said he would. He's a very capable problem-solver.
Phil and KMA towing are up for any job you can throw at them. I just built a tiny house that needed to be moved, weighed and road tested; and the handful of 'other guys' I called didn't want to get involved because of the unknown factor. Phil answered my call for help and said he could do it. I couldn't have been happier, not only did Phil maneuver our tiny house out of the back yard, he also had the experience to watch clearances, test trailer breaks, get around traffic and so much more. Phil let me ride with to the weight scale and offered me great advice along the way. If you have a tiny house, or anything else that needs to be towed, call KMA first.
I can't say enough nice things about Phil and KMA towing. I had been dealing with various service stations and the dealership all day and was frustrated beyond belief. Even had another tow guy out to try to get my car started. He was not successful and then when I asked him if he could tow my car to the dealership as my last resort, he said he was not able to. Desperate, I called KMA just to try to find someone to get my darn car to the dealership. Phil asked me a lot of questions over the phone. Showed up willing to try to diagnose the problem, solve it or worse case scenario, tow the car to someone who could fix it. He diagnosed the problem in less then ten minutes and offered to tow the car to his shop to fix it. I had my car back that night. EXCELLENT towing company. KNOWLEDGEABLE and CAPABLE staff and super FRIENDLY service. I feel I have a friend now I can call when I need help. Call with confidence.
After calling other places and being told to call number after number I called KMA. Absolutely no BS, after taking the vehicle and location info they were on the way. I think it was Phil who arrived, very professional and laid back. KMA made a flat tire about as stress-free as can be!
Really great experience, starting with the phone call. My car was in my driveway, right where I wanted it, less than an hour after I called. Phil gave me great advice on the repair as well as getting reimbursed for the tow. Could not have been a better experience.
From the moment I called KMA and spoke with Phil, the company and employee's made this a very great experience! Phil reassured me who would be coming, what the vehicle would look like and who to expect. Joe the tow driver was awesome! So friendly and called prior to arriving so I knew who to look for. As a female, this was very important and created a safe feeling. My 35 minute (at least) ride during rush hour was worry free and Joe was easy to ride with and very professional. He utilized his knowledge of cars from his background to help me understand the possibilities of what may have gone wrong with my car...turns out he was right! there was a fuel pump problem once I got it to the shop! I'd HIGHLY recommend this company for any services they offer. You will not be disappointed!
It was about 2 years ago I needed to have my car towed. I was put in touch with Phil at KMA towing. They helped me out and I was so impressed with the professionalism and service quality I put KMA in my contacts. About 2 weeks ago my car died due to transmission issues and I knew who to call. I have used KMA towing twice this week. That should speak for itself. Phil from KMA was the driver both times and was professional but also laid back which is helpful in a stressful time, like when your car breaks down. He was quite prompt on timing in both cases. Easy to contact, easy to work with, professional and prompt. What more can you ask from a towing service? I will use KMA again without hesitation and recommend them to anyone needing their services.
My transmission went out and I was 280 miles away from home. It was a sunday and I was traveling with two children. I had just had the transmission done under a year ago and it was under warranty so I really wanted to get it back to the shop who fixed it last year. Phil was terrific! He had my van to Madison sunday night before the sun went down!! It was such a stressful situation that KMA made WAY better by their support and professionalism.

I called them in a panic on Easter weekend and Bobby and Steve's for the only 1 open, although Bobby and Steve's gave me a better initial quotefor the 85 dollar towing Phil was willing to beat the price. However, he offered to come take a look at my van & help me assess the issue. He & his brother made us feel secure in their ethic both work & business! My van was up & running in 15 minutes!

Real people who care and actually help you. We lost our car key at the mall and he was able to pick up our entire family and tow our vehicle (our choice to handle it this way) and provide us with an excellent locksmith to remake the key when we were ready to have that done.

My gf's car got stuck in a thick patch of ice in a parking lot at her work place. When we called and need a tow truck, Phil came out right away and was at the scene under 15 minutes. It turned out to be much more difficult then we had thought it would be because 2 of the wheels on the car had sunk into the ice and became frozen over into the thick ice patch. Instead of bargaining with us over the additional cost it would be to get it out, Phil set to work right away and was able to get the car out of the ice. Once he was done he still kept his word and charged us the same rate he had promised over the phone! This was no typical tow job and required so much more work than simply pulling a car since the tires were frozen solid into the ice. Phil was very patient and offered the greatest customer service I have seen in a long time. I am a person that almost never write reviews for anything, but I could not help, but to write this review to share my experience. Phil was extremely professional and helpful! Thank you so much Phil!
I originally was going to go with another business, then we found KMA and when we talked to Phil he told us some helpful information for our situation. He was very patient, kind, and informative. He not only towed my vehicle but also assessed the problem of my jeep and told me something the mechanic forgot to do that would of spit gas all over the ground. All in all he did his job well, then went beyond that. Really recommend Phil.
If there's one thing about car trouble that I think that everyone can agree on, it's that the unexpected expense is always unpleasant. And getting your car towed is always the first part of that snowball. I've dealt with all kinds of different people over the years on the road, but have never encountered anyone as willing to help, as down to earth, and down right cool as Phil from KMA Towing. Right away from our first phone conversation he was already out on another tow, lining things up for me to get here as soon as possible, even before he knew that he had my business. Phil encouraged me to check with my insurance provider to see if I had any towing reimbursement in place, but it turned out that I didn't have anything finite, and that if I went with my insurance I would have had to of used someone else that was contracted with my insurance company. Phil not only kept his word and was already on his way over (after me being on hold with my insurance company for 10 minutes, followed by a subsequent 5 minute conversation) but he beat the price of what my insurance company was offering by a more than fair margin.
In short, my experience with KMA Towing and Recovery was second to none in my 12 years on the road. And it's clear to me that the business is run by a man who is not only sincerely customer service-oriented, but also has the knowledge and expertise to help put my mind at ease. I will recommend them to anyone that I can!
If you ever need a tow, call KMA towing. They offered (for free) several options to try and get our car started. When it turned out to be something mechanical, they came out immediately to tow our car to our local repair shop. I will recommend their services to anyone and everyone that ever needs a tow. KMA Towing & Recovery towed my car after I had a flat on Hwy 212. They arrived extremely quickly and were very reasonably priced (under $70). The owner Phil was concerned for my safety and made sure I got into the truck right away. He was very pleasant and even offered to take me to my next destination after dropping my car off at the shop because he was headed in that direction. I would highly recommend this locally owned small business!
