Initial phone call was totally fine until I was told they don't deliver to Saint Paul. Should probably take "Serving The Twin Cities Metro And Surrounding Areas" off your website if you wont deliver to Saint Paul. If you live on the western side of town I'm sure they can help you...
Customer service was great. I ordered 4 yards of garden soil. The dirt seems great thus far. I was able to get the dirt within a couple of days of calling. Fortunately for me they were able to dump it near where I needed 3 of the yards to go. All in all a very good experience, and I plan on using them again in the future.
Very disappointing. Submitted online request for a delivery of 4 yards topsoil (75%) sand (25%) mix. Received immediate email confirming my request but contained no pricing detail. I called next day and was told by a woman that they can certainly do this but may take a few days to price out my request and get back to me. 10 days later - still no response, so I called again. I explained my request to the woman who answered the phone She said it must have been her co-worker who I spoke to 10 days ago and indicated she would have her call me back. 3 more days have past and still no email or phone call. Maybe my request of 4 yards was too small for them to bother with? Maybe they prefer commercial vs residential customers? Who knows. But either way I would hope they would be honest and tell me this. At this time I've taken my request to another company who was happy to fulfill my request and take my money upon first call.
I'm having turf put in at a daycare and was unfortunately delivered the wrong materials. KD made sure the help correct the mistake and was above and beyond when it came to customer service.
Purchased some premium garden soil to fill a retention wall space so that I can plant some blueberry bushes there. The customer service is superb for ordering. It was quick and easy. However, there are several issues when the soil was delivered. First, the delivery went to the wrong place initially. Secondly, there is no phone call or text notification at all, imaging have 9 tons of dirt delivered to your front yard in early morning without notification. Did not have a chance to move my cars out of the driveway so have to have all the dirt dumped onto my front lawn. Lastly, the amount of soil was way overestimated by the experts at Kd & Co, 3 times more than what I actually needed.
I asked for a garden mix, what I got was fill with weeds and chunks in it. I put it un the raised gargend and it dried like concrete. Nothing would grow in it.
They have lots of various color mulches and rock for sale. This is also a pit for dumping and getting gravel. Small ma-and-pa site that is well organized and down-to-earth.
Very Friendly service. Nikki was very helpful. They delivered the next day right when they said they were going to. Couldn't be happier with the service.
Used them 3 times to dump dirt. The first two times it cost me 40 bucks, the last time $275. They tried telling me I was lucky the first two times. I told them someone actually looked what I was dumping up close, unlike the last time someone saw it through a window 100 feet away. This is without a doubt the most ridiculous thing to ever happen to me. They will screw you over in heartbeat.
We needed black dirt to make fill the edges of our beautiful new driveway, and granite for our landscape we purchased both from KD and got propt service and competitive pricing!
I would not suggest buying anything from this company. They are rude and incompetent. Every time i called I got a different story from a different worker. After a week of waiting for my dirt delivery i asked to speak to a manger and she was RUDE and unhelpful. They clearly do not want business with smaller residential orders. i canceled my order and im grateful to never have to work with them again.
