I went there on a Tuesday morning. The gate was closed across the driveway that led into the small parking area. I thought that was strange, but maybe someone just forgot to open it so I got out of my car to walk up to the office shack. I got about half way there when a woman barked "WE ARE CLOSED. THAT'S WHY THE GATE IS NOT OPEN!" I apologized profusely. She then snapped "WHAT DO YOU WANT?"After a few exchanges with this charming woman, I decided a colonoscopy was more enjoyable than continuing the conversation. I turned to walk away when the queen of customer service quipped "YOU SHOULD CONSIDER YOURSELF LUCKY THAT WE ARE WILLING TO SELL YOU PARTS!"......WTH???
There are many salvage yards in the state. Do yourself a huge favor and avoid this one!!
Joe's is the kind of place your Dad used to take you to when all of the other Ford parts resources had gone dry. Joe's got the part, somewhere, just give him a little time to put his finger on it. The only discouraging thing about Joe's is he only does this Monday - Thursday which puts most parts scavengers off because they are only out on the weekends.
