Great experience at this auto junction! The process was easy and straightforward. I’d recommend them to anyone looking for a good car and good service at a reasonable price!
In December 2025, we purchased a 2013 Chevrolet Avalanche from A&J Auto Junction LLC. Their motto is "selling good quality vehicles. Every car is chosen with care — because quality always comes first." That was what we thought at first. Within 3 months of purchasing this vehicle, it was not drivable due to the breaks going out. From several conversations with their office manager, and co-owner, she assured us that they always look into breaks and replace as it is a safety issue and they do not sell their vehicles with issues like that. That is just not true. With the low amount of miles we have driven, and the three months that it was driveable, in town (Grand Forks) taking our kids to and from school and to and from work, there is no way we would have worn down the breaks to ZERO break pads left. A licensed mechanic also confirmed that they had not been changed when they should have been with how bad the break pads and calipers looked, and that there was no way in three months they would have gotten that bad. ALSO, upon lifting the vehicle, the mechanic also discovered that the GAS TANK was being help by an old, rusted lashing strap instead of the metal strap that should be securing the gas tank in place. When a video was shown to A&J, instead of taking responsibility for selling a vehicle that way, they accused us of taking it somewhere and having that done ourselves. WHY WOULD WE DO THAT?! There is ZERO accountability, and it is clear they are doing the least amount of work possible to these vehicles before putting them up for sale. Quality is NOT being taken into consideration, and either is safety. BEWARE, I would think twice before dealing with this establishment. These are peoples lives and the lives of their families that you are dealing with. Please do better.
PS, I also think it's funny that within the same time frame of me reporting them to the Better Business Bureau, now they have two 5 star reviews, that look like fake names.

I Never offered any $ on it but Adam said “oh I don’t speak native” when i said I’d love to make an offer but I’d rather keep looking at auctions then over pay for his yard-plow. Just to let anyone know from my experience Is that he doesn’t put any $ into his lot, the usual flipper swindler 1st impression from this guy was when he said “ok so theres no battery in the key fob” “the abs sensor has a delay” “this door doesn’t open” so I’m guessing that’s why the brakes would lock up with a slight tap, the front diff sounded like it wanted to blow while trying to get to 20mph, imo he’s just looking to put you on payment plans for the overpriced auction stuff he finds. Plenty of public auctions you can find these same vehicles for $1-3k. Don’t be scammed out of your $.
Horrible service!!! this man pulled up with several people expecting me to give him my money without checking out the car , and when I refused to buy it he started yelling racial slurs to me WHILE I HAD MY KIDS , he was trying to intimidate me. If you’re going to meet up with this guy at his “business” I’d recommend bringing someone with and don’t let this con swindle you into buying his garbage . This experience was worse than a sketchy marketplace meet up !
