I cannot express how happy I am with these guys. I picked up my truck today after hitting a deer 3 days before Christmas and it looks better than it did before I hit the deer! With the short holiday weeks in mind, they had my truck for 15 working business days. They handled absolutely everything with my insurance. It Was the easiest insurance claim I’ve ever had and I can speak on that from experience. About 10 years ago a woman pulled out infront of me in my old truck and when I got it back from Jerry’s auto body I was so displeased I said I’d never give them business again; so when my wife was hit in a roundabout in July of 22’ I took her vehicle to Hughes and I was blown away by their quality of work; so they were my immediate thought when I hit a deer. They blew me away with their work for a 2nd time. That isn’t luck, that’s a trend. I will recommend ANYBODY brings your vehicle here!

Someone tried breaking into my vehicle and caused damage to my driver and passenger door area. My truck is only a couple years old and I was so worried it wouldn't look the same again. They did a superior job and I'm extremely happy. You would never know something had ever happened to it. I went from crying to smiling and I'm extremely grateful to have found them.
They finished a few days sooner than what was expected and they vacuumed it!

I've taken my car other places and gotten screwed. These guys are upfront, honest and don't over charge. And they never fail to get fixed the forst time unlike most shops. Won't take my car anywhere else but here
Thank you Pedro, Joe, and the lady with the awesome haircut, well honestly everyone I encountered at the shop was great. Thanks for not ripping me off and resolving the squealing wheel. I came here for a second opinion after another shop in Mankato gave me a $1700 quote for service and parts that Hughe's showed me I did not need.
This is going to be my go to place from now on! Good people. The waiting lobby had good reading material and I was comfortable for the short time I was there. They had this book that I am now going to find and purchase for my daughter.

Wonderful local service, great rates. Will definitely be back again. :) Its very refreshing to have someone be completely transparent about what the issue is, or what it could be, and not be suggesting a million things that cost a fortune.

They have been amazing to be since the days of my SAAB back in 2010. Only place I'll take my vehicles. Honest and curteous, they won't swindle you, they will be up front and open. I can't recommend them enough.
I won’t go anywhere else for automotive work, so fast, friendly, and helpful. When I had an accident a few months ago I was able to take my car there right away, borrow a vehicle to take to work and get my car checked out and road ready again the same day. Even when I was living 2 hours away I would still plan my car maintenance around when I was visiting so I could get my work done at Hughes Automotive.
I was pleasantly surprised finding this place to work on my Daughters vehicle while attending MSU. They were very fair and honest with repairs needed for her vehicle I would higley recommended them.

After several years living in Mankato, I actually found this place accidentally. But after a couple of times experiences, I enjoy stick with them for business. Reasons: 1. they don't lie or over charge anything--Fair Price 2. they do work precise and accurate--Quality of Work 3. Nice personnel with very supportive information--Good Service. We can trust them.
Long overdue review but if you live in the area and you want a trustworthy place to get your car taken care of this is it. I used to make the trip just because I couldn't find anywhere local that would give decent price or not try to rip me off. If you need mechanic or auto body they will take care of you.
reviewing a mechanic is like reviewing a dentist. nobody LIKES going to the dentist. that being said, they have always been straight shooters with me. Honest and they do good work also. i recommend them.
Having been in the automotive business for 50 years I was looking for a shop that ran on a personal basis with guys in the back who knew what they were doing and when they didn't they knew where to find out quickly. They are complimented by the people at the front desk who are likable and reasonable. I also like the idea that their people are not "Commission Slaves" This business format gives the mechanical people time to look without the feeling they need to speed the repair to financially survive.
