They have never tried to sell me un-needed work on my vehicles, they explain everything and will give you a price quote immediately, they also have a loaner vehicle, I keep going back!!

Thought this place was good until I went in for some simple maintenance work, and they botched the job, seemingly as they never bothered to look up the proper procedures beforehand for performing said maintenance. They poured gear oil into my transmission, left differential dry. Somehow, they did not figure out they were filling the wrong thing. Now I've been dealing with gear whine since, which they claim they couldn't hear. They attempted to make things right with new fluids (and they only looked up how to do the job afterwards, after damage was caused) But it's too late, and they basically just did a band-aid instead of a transaxle assembly replacement that will inevitably be on my dime soon, when it should've been them to pay for replacement to truly make things right. Be warned, my experience here was really a nightmare, and it's a shame as I thought they did ok here in the past, but I've heard recently from others that this place isn't good. Would rather they turn me away if they weren't comfortable with the service. I recommend looking elsewhere for a shop that does their homework to get jobs done right.
I had such a positive experience getting my vehicle serviced at Gabe's Auto. I had a significant mechanical issue with my truck and did not know what I would do. Thankfully, I was able to bring my truck to Gabe's auto and they both assessed the situation and fixed the problems of my truck. This is now a "go to" place for my vehicles. I am very grateful for their service and professional staff. Highly recommended.

Love Gabes Auto Service Inc. The knowledgable staff are always quick to help me out when needed. This is a place you can trust and not be ripped off. I use them for anything from bulb replacement, oil change, tires, wiper blades, to new tie rods, heater repair, brakes, and strange noises. Never not been satisfied.
Very thorough work. I went in for an oil change and they checked everything out. I ended up replacing an air filter and wiper blades, but I was thankful for the attention to my car.
I was headed to ortonville to visit family when my truck started to feel like I wasn't getting fuel. I called around to a few shops that couldn't get me in within the week. I noticed gabes out on the highway and gave him a call since he had all 5 star reviews. He got me in the same day and had my truck back the next morning. I was extremely pleased with the turnaround and the price. After a couple hours I noticed there was a small drip now coming from.that tank. Gabe told me to bring it right back and he would take a look. After only a couple hours he found the bad O.ring and charged me nothing for his time. All the guys there were friendly, gabe is an honest and reliable mechanic. The prices were great and so was his timing. I look forward to using his shop again the next time I'm in ortonville. It's hard to find a place like this, I've traveled all over the country. Thanks Gabe!
They repaired a flat tire with not 1 but 2 nails in it and only charged $20 bucks. They were friendly and professional and offered great customer service!!! I chose this place cause of the name and I am glad I did!!!
