CALLED FROM BUSINESS TO ORDER A TRANSMISSION FOR A CUSTOMER BACK ON 9-25-25 HEARD NOTHING FOR 2 WEEKS ,FOUND THEY LOST THE ORDER CALLED BACK SAID THEY WERE GOIN TO SEND IT OUT ON 10-13-25 ASKED FOR TRACKING TO SEE WHEN I WOULD SEE IT FOR MY CUSTOMER , THE GUY HANGS UP ON ME , GUARANTEE I WILL NEVER CALL THIS PLACE AGAIN , WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED

It was Saturday afternoon and I call them about availability of my vehicle reuse battery and then I got it and I did asked twice about the condition of battery and they said everything will be ok and trust our business. I went to near by car shop to install the battery and after installation car did not start and they have to use jump start and after driving for 15 mins, car battery is still not working. I went to nearest auto zone and they checked and said this battery is dead and good for nothing. Autozone gave me another new battery and they install it and it was perfect working. So I will suggest don’t trust in their business and they may sell dead battery to you and you are not aware about it. I spend $93 + $34 total of $130 for that battery.

I waited for ten days to get a part only to find out they never shipped it because I never responded to a email they never sent. They didn't have any problem with billing my credit card though. Absolutely the worst recycler in Minnesota.

These guys do alright. I don't like the fact for some parts, you can get there, but others you have to buy there then drive to another location to get the part you bought.

It’s clear the people answering the phones are completely disconnected from the parts side of the business. My brother tried to warn me so I took precautions. I called ahead, guy on the phone assured me the parts would be there and they only stock parts in good condition. (I wasn’t looking for perfect parts). I showed up, the fender was missing and the bumper cover was busted and gouged. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME GOING HERE, YOU WILL LEAVE WITH NOTHING. Me and my brother had the same experience.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience with ABCO Auto Parts. The staff clearly has no regard for customer service. I walked in, and instead of receiving any assistance, I was just told to sit down and left completely ignored. No one bothered to ask if I needed help or offer any guidance. It felt like I was invisible. It’s frustrating when a company doesn’t value their customers enough to provide even basic service. If you're looking for knowledgeable staff and good service, look elsewhere. Definitely won't be returning!

Five customers waiting on a Saturday at noon. Two employees twiddling their thumbs. Two employees outside smoking, one person helping customers and the cashier also twiddling their thumbs. Five people in line and to have 5 out of 6 of your employees doing absolutely nothing is wild. I have much better things to do with my day than stand around while your employees enjoy themselves

I have never been treated so badly at a business! Please listen to me and don't waste your time going to a place that constantly lies about inventory, has rude management, and a place that refuse to take responsibility for their mistakes. If you can go anywhere else and get your parts please do so. Thanks for reading this. The only thing scathing was the service, folks for great tires and great service go to 3326 University SE I will never go anywhere else two tires mounted and balanced only 100 bucks!!!

Customer service here is seriously awful—not just at this spot, but all the other locations. If you're going to keep hiring unhelpful reps, at least put up some signs so customers know what to do or where to go.

Pretty solid straightfoward business. A few years back I didnt like the customer service but they have worked hard on changing that from my recent visits. So good job for that. It does get busy in here but I wouldnt expect anything less since they have good priced auto parts they ive never experienced any issue with. I would love to see a service that allows for tire installation with the tires but I do understand the overall reason for ones no longer available because from a business owners point of view it makes the most sense. but would still be a great thing to rethink for you guys. other than that this place delivers a quick affordable option for auto parts.

I visited the Spring Lake Park location and needed a side mirror. An employee named Merinda was very helpful and ensured I received the correct part. It was exactly what I needed and very reasonably priced. I highly recommend Abco for their knowledgeable staff. I will definitely return for any future auto part needs.

Called asking about an item on the website ,confirmed they had it and gave a name. I arrived at the location, was directed to the other location then after waiting for 10 minutes was told they "couldn't find it" and there weren't any replacements.... Total waste of time and dismissive staff in person and on the phone. Update. Got a response and apology for the issue, nice for a company to respond, will probably go again

The worst and most unprofessional employees I’ve ever encountered. They act polite on the phone, but as soon as they hang up, they start mocking the customers who call in for parts. It doesn’t matter if you’re a doctor, lawyer, or an expert in your field—they treat everyone with disrespect. How dare they work at a junkyard selling used parts and then insult people for simply asking questions? On top of that, they’re scammers. Their used parts are priced higher than brand-new ones! This place is a complete rip-off. I’ll never go back.

I talked to Kisha when I originally ordered all of my car parts for my car. She was so friendly and helpful. When I went to pick up the parts at all 3 of their locations EVERYONE was so friendly. It was a nice change from the world we live in today. I highly recommend this place.

Found them on carpart, called in, asked about the parts I need, everything in stock and color matched, perfect. Told the guy on the phone i’m outa state do they take payment over phone or online he said yes as long as credit card address matched delivery address, ok cool, asked about shipping and got a freight quote. Told him I’ll call back after I check up with my customer. Got ahold of the customer that night, figured things out, gave him a timeframe when everything would be complete based on the shipping information I got from abco. Called the next day some lady picks up, told her who I am and she pulled up the quote, asked her if all the parts are still there, yes, and told her can I pay now with credit card and she told me they don’t take payments over the phone nor online, I have to come in to pay even though I’m outa state and not even in the area. Basically now I’m stuck in a tough position because their own employees don’t know their own policies. Moral of this review, this company not organized enough to sell state wide. If your in town give them a try but if you outa state or found them on car part, just skip over them. Employees don’t even know their own policies, and one doesn’t know what the other does. Very Unprofessional!

I have bought several engines and transmissions from them in the past. I have never had any issues. I purchased an engine from them this past weekend and I had some issues with it. On monday am i called them right away and explained my issue to Ryan. He explained me my options and took care of my issue . I will definitely be back because they stand behind their parts and have the best prices in town. Thanks again.

I don’t appreciate that when you buy tires here that installing them in not included and they send you to another store to pay more money to have them install I will never do business with them again because they could of told me that in the phone before I drove here

Great Fast Clear experience. They were upfront and honest about everything and I was in and out even though it was a busy time. The ladies at the front are so good at what they do. Great prices. Very Happy!

Extremely expensive, it takes them forever to grab your part, charging extra for card transactions which is fishy to make people cash. You will never find them sell a part cheaper then anywhere else because they are the most expensive in the town. I would not recommend buying from this place.

Called ahead and had the car parts put on hold. Hermons had jokes at the retail counter computer. He was friendly and very helpful helping me find the other store for my second item. They take Apple Pay which was very helpful. Plenty of chairs where you can wait as they bring up your parts. I liked the tv with the customer waiting list on it.

I’ve used them for many years. I’ve had many hit or miss incidents with them Smaller items like alternators, and that nature Overall, I would recommend them in terms of that category of the smaller things. It gets a little bit more interesting when it’s the bigger items like an engine or transmission in the past I have bought both in the past and it’s 50/50 if they are good. My main issue today is I bought a transmission for one of my vehicles and I explicitly told the sales person over the phone that it has to be a good one and if the vehicle was driven and verified, it was good. They said it was and if they had any issues, I could return it. That was no biggie, but I needed to have it installed at a Shop. So I bought the warranty. Today I get a phone call that the transmission was installed, but the issue was it had no forward, gears or reverse, and was far worse than the one that I already had in the vehicle, I made a claim for the Warranty and the lady on the phone was extremely rude when I said that I didn’t have my invoice number in front of me And quite literally snarked on the phone. We processed the paperwork for the warranty and she emails me a list of things to send to the shop, I get it sent over to them no problem. As I read it, I see they only cover $45 an hour up to $500. Which really pisses me off, I understand it’s a used transmission and I get it is a used part, But why lie to me about the condition? Now I have to pay a portion of the install yet again. I will not be buying from ABCO Ever again

Awful customer service!!!!!!!!! My fiance and 2.5 year old were there and the battery died in his truck. He was there to pick up parts. Fiance asked if a worker could jump his truck, worker said no and went into the building and proceeded to lock the door. I called to speak to someone about what was happening and it took close to 3 minutes to answer and then female individual on phone seemed nice as I was explaining our situation and asked if they could help and her attitude changed drastically and said they can't do that for liability reasons. No offer to help or even to ask if he wanted a new battery since they are, after all, a parts place. Definitely do not recommend!!! Rude rude rude. Locking the doors?!? My 2.5 year old was with him

My previous review I warned of a bad experience. The company reached out to me directly, and I truly felt like they wanted to fix the issues they’re experiencing. I believe they are trying their best. And will do what they can to fix their issues. Tons of parts in stock there if you need it..

I'm a mobile mechanic serving the twin cities & metro area, I purchased a used engine. Pleasant experience. Had exactly what I needed, Engine purred like a kitten!! I've used Aabco in the past & Will use them in the future!! THANKS GUYS!
