Got confirmation set my part was at their business. Arrived after coming 4 1/2 mi from Bemidji Minnesota. Only to find out it was phantom stock and not a real part. But their staff member was willing to give me the names of five other businesses. so, while I was down in the twin cities are, I could find a part, before I left all the way back home.
Why is this junk even open 3rd time going to this place to save a couple bucks in mind but instead end up buying junk to bring home. Still end up buying a new part of store can't return the junk so they offer life time warranty in a junk that they know is not worth selling but still do it anyway
ABCO is a decent place to find good quality used auto parts to help folks save money and the shop I help out has had good luck overall. The customer service from the parts counter attendants however can be very hit & miss? Last Friday I was provided the incorrect part, which was mis-marked and not the fault of the counter service attendant, however when I was forced to return to get the correct part the young man was disrespectful and stated “it was not his problem and when I simply asked if he could help me out in a speedy fashion he stated “he had other ‘sh**’ to do”! He was putting away other parts while our shop had a customer waiting for nearly two hours on a late Friday. After waiting over 20 minutes I was serviced by another attendant, whom was very friendly and apologetic for the situation. While checking out a 2nd time, I was approached by the original attendant to whom I shared with him his responsibility for not caring about his customer and our needs, which I delivered patiently & respectfully, he became openly confrontational and actually suggested we fight outside and he had to be physically restrained and shouted at by the cashier. It was an unprofessional and disappointing experience that cost the shop lost income through no fault of our own.
I'd put negative stars if I could. Gave me the wrong part and wouldn't stay open an extra 10 minutes to come exchange it so now I have to wait 3 days till they're open again. Horrible customer service and once I exchange the part I'll NEVER buy anything here again.
Called for a bumper. They said they had what I wanted, but wouldn't go check it our for me. I drove 35 miles to look and had to wait for almost an hour to find out they could NOT find it. Really great service.
