Was in a car crash so they towed my wrecked vehicle to the lot I went the next morning to recover it and they charged me for the car sitting in the lot for 3 days even though it was less than a day lady on the phone was very confrontational they prey on people while they are down and charged me an extra 120 dollars if you happen to wreck your vehicle have it towed somewhere else!
My son was in an accident on Sunday in which the officers called this company and had the vehicle towed without our consent by them. When we called to retrieve his personal items they told us we could not get anything out of the vehicle and owed them over $700 for the tow and it would accumulate each day if we didn't pay. So not only did not son loose a car he also has a bill that's racking up and they refuse to give him sentimental items that they have no use for. We cant even get someone in charge to call us back. I will be filing a report with the attorney general on this business as well as calling the news to deep dive into what's really going on with this tow company.
Good experience with Twin Cities Transport and Recovery. Dispatcher was friendly and efficient, tow truck driver showed up on time, was friendly and treated our car with respect. Would use them again.

Probably one of the worst experiences i've ever had with a tow company. Not only were there missing item's but afterwards when the item's were mentioned. At delivery (because some how my registration wasn't in the glove box, so I had to use my title and pay them more money). The missing phone my brother had reported during the tow of the vehicle, mysteriously was there. (Glad I took pictures of everything. Now I have to go request body cam, and other legal stuff because some companies can't just be honest. Long store short, protect yourself. Companies like this.We'll try to capitalize off you. They thought I was from Hawaii because I'm a retired veteran, that retired in Hawaii and move back to home to Minnesota. I just wish to see more people doing the right thing. Good note is thank God for lawyer's.

Never good stories associated with having a car accident or car towed, but they help make it better. At least it's nice people in a money draining time.
We got stuck in a ditch from an ice storm and we called them and they came out to help. They told us a price on the phone and then the guy upped it in person because we were so stuck and it took a little longer. They also told us they would be there in 5 mins and they didn’t show up until about 45 mins later, and I had my two babys in the back.
I’m thankful for them but wasn’t happy with the price increase and how long it took them to get to us.
Responded to my vehicle after a hit and run. Was able to get me home. Would absolutely recommend. ***Editing this after they responded: These guys showed up after 6 other tow companies told me they couldn't help me. As far as I am concerned these guys are all stars.
THEY LOST/STOLE HER DAUGHTERS ASHES!! .This tow company are the worst crooks ever to deal with! No matter what we tried to do to get our truck back they would not honor anything we tried. They said there was a hold so we went to sheriff's office to get release they said there was no hold this went back n forth until we couldn't come up with the money to get it out. Her purse with her id and 3200 cash was in there we had just closed on our house everything of value was in that truck including her daughters ashes. They auctioned the truck off we lost it all.they did this illegally we are currently seeking representation from an attorney We are homeless and have been since this happened we need help! They are trying to charge her with no insurance when she had insurance and she sent in the proof and they still are taking this to court it's the most bogus corrupt conspiracy type of case one could ever imagine! We/she is innocent her toe rod broke and sent her in the ditch that's all she did and they are treating her like a criminal it's horrible what they are doing!! I also videotaped the last day we were in there trying to get our things out of the truck they would not let us no matter what!! So we lost everything!! We are so sad depressed over it thingill never be normal again for us.

Awful experience. Charged twice as much as others in the area. When I told them this they said "Yeah, we are pretty high." I was shocked and upset by the amount and absolutley nothing was offered aside from an insincere apology.
This tow company doesn't care about customer service even if you are the one hiring and paying them. Just another careless predatory company. Shop elsewhere.
Can you give 0 stars? Called at 12:42 Saturday for a tow. Car runs and drives need to tow it 30 miles. Told 90 minutes would be at the drop off location. Said 2:30 to be safe. Called at 3:50 and they had no idea or no work order for this vehicle. They claim if it did not have license plates/VIN they could not generate a work order. Great! It was a lot car that’s fine call me and I can give you the VIN. Did they call you? No but they sure were happy to take a credit card number right away!
When it comes to your towing needs, you would be better served to abandon your vehicle, burn any money you have and walk out into traffic. All subtlety aside, Twin Cities towing is a perfect example of a "suck every last dime out of them" philosophy. Those in charge, the powers that be, have established policies and procedures that allow no room for the minions to exercise reasonable empathy and fairness. The status quo is, "if it is within the law, it's fair." Evidence of this philosophy...if you have a vehicle that is impounded the daily storage rate is $40 a day. If you pay to get the vehicle out of impound but cannot get it moved by a towing company to bring it to salvage for two more days, the storage rate is $50 a day. You cannot schedule a tow pick up without first paying the impound and none of the tow companies can come same day. So TCTS just charges an extra $10 because they can. No other reason to change the rate other than the fact that they have their customers over a barrel. I can't imagine being proud to work there. Sorry for the excessively long review.
I am from South Dakota but I had a vehicle in Blaine Minnesota that was stolen, Blaine PD found my car and we got the situation handled I thought, the police officer and the operator of the tow truck both told me they could drop it at the location it was stolen from. I was just told I needed to pay for it over the phone, I call and talk to some douche who informs me that they cannot do that and I can't even come and get the car because I don't have the title. Which per the requirements of the auction I dropped it off at was in the vehicle and is no longer in the vehicle. Of course he didn't mention that until I informed him that I did not have the title and it would take multiple weeks to get a replacement. Pretty sure I could see that 3 weeks of storage making a smile on his face through the phone. I have owned a towing company for almost 15 years and have never once dealt with another company so unprofessional and greedy. Better off calling the idiots doing it with car trailers. By the way my towing company has five stars
Tonight our car died on 94E in St. Paul, and we needed a tow at midnight. So glad we called TCTS, it was such a pleasant company to deal with. The dispatcher, Sarah, was sweet and helpful. The driver Eric H was friendly, thoughtful and professional. Our car was delivered safely home to our residence in the north metro ahead of estimated time and swiftly unloaded. My car had been stolen, and it was towed here after being recovered. The customer service was absolutely horrible in trying to get my car back. I was treated like the criminal vs. the victim. I was required to pay a large fee in cash. After providing the cash, the person at the counter was not capable of calculating the change I was owed. I am so disappointed in my experience with this location. I hope I never have to deal with them again.
Great experience with this company. Pricing is reasonable. My car slid onto a steep hillside during some icy road conditions. When I called, a real human picked up. The Dispatcher was hurried, but professional and answered all my questions very politely. Communication was great, the driver called me when they were in their way and arrived within 20 minutes. A very polite and kind young man. He pulled my car off the hill within minutes of arriving. He very patiently walked me through how I should adjust my wheels as the car was being winched out. Slight issue with detaching the equipment from my car. We worked through the issue and the car was unscathed throughout the whole process from start to finish. Very thankful that TCTS sent this young man to help us out!! Pricing was very reasonable. If I ever need a tow again, definitely calling on TCTS to help out again.
