Called him at noon on a Friday because he was only about l1.5 miles away. I was broke down with a truck and a small trailer. He asked me what size ball and then proceeded to show up with the wrong ball size. Said it would be easier for another truck to tow the trailer and just follow us. Long story short got double charged and $535 to go less than 10 miles. Don't call this guy unless you want to sore behind for a few days. Complete rip off taking advantage of people in the time of need.
Came within a half hour and treated me like his own daughter. Even waited with me until my uber got there because it was late and a sketchy area 10/10 service
If you want clutch timing and need a tow in a hurry this is a good service but you are going to pay more. He offered me a cash discount and I payed $180 to get from N. Territorial to Ann Arbor Rd (4 miles). This was the only service that could get me where I needed right away (within 20 minutes). 4 stars because his price on the phone was different from what he gave me when he showed up. We agreed on the price before he hooked my car. I’ll be getting to work tomorrow! Thank you!
Car died on the 8th floor of the Maynard St parking garage downtown Ann Arbor, Richard saved my ass and gave me great advice, wish I could rate them higher. 10/10

Unprofessional. Asked me who quoted me lower and when I told him, he proceeded to call that company on another line while I was the phone and spit profanity about their pricing. It was rude and unprofessional.
Don't waste your time. I spent all of 2 minutes on the phone asking for help and was met with nothing but rudeness. I called during a roadside emergency. I explained the situation and that I couldn't get home safely. Whoever answered laughed at the fact that I was stuck out in bad weather, said "in this snow and rain? Sorry can't help" and immediately hung up. So incredibly rude.
Absolute scam, i got charged $198 for them to tow my car not even 3 miles. When i asked the driver why it was so much he was very aggressive and belligerent. They should be ashamed of themselves.
This place is evil guy caught me broke down on the road in a bad predicament and charged me
$4850.00 to go 120 miles to the Peterbilt dealer and once he got my truck on the hook he tells me I can’t ride in the truck with him per policy I’d have to ride in my rig that was in tow or get there on my own. I rode in my truck wondering is this even legal? Can’t say 100% but I personally felt racism could’ve played a part in this. I hope this review can prevent someone from getting SODOMIZED like I did.
This company is a complete rip off. They towed my vehicle 7.5 miles for a total bill of $425. They would only accept cash. Such a scam. Avoid at all costs. Literally.
Slowest mech of all time. Combative attitude and the service is terrible. Do not call this guy of your stuck on the side of the road. Two stars because he finally fixed the issue.
This man charged my son $350 to go 22 miles!!!! My husband told him he would be paying with our credit card and he said no cash only....even tho the the website states that they take all major credit cards. We told
him we longer want him to tow the vehicle and he wouldn't take the vehicle off his truck. Long story short he ripped my son off and you should never use this company. I wish I would have seen these reviews before we did.
The gentleman was kind and proficient and ready to send a tow truck prior to me asking how much for the tow. Once amount was confirmed he was informed that payment would be coming from my husband and i would get the info to him. The previous kind proficient man then asked why I don't have a credit card of my own. Assuming!
He then told me he would not be able to send tow now. I had my husband call with card info as previously explained. The man called back for further directions immediately. Hahaha.
The scariest man I've met in recent years tried to take money and run away, luckily I didn't give him the option, be careful to pay him before you received service, he stings and more than that will leave you helpless after you've waited for him, a big guy who is nervous and impatient to take care of a customer takes huge sums for minimal service! You shouldn't choose him, there are so many better people than him, that's for sure
Never been talked to like this before in my life. Put our truck on the tow truck then said it would be $1000 to go 20 min. Then said fine if we didn’t want to pay it it would be $375 to take it off the truck.
Then after he yelled at me said let’s just be done and he’ll tow it for $500. Scam artist at the best.
I was traveling with my mom, 3 year old, & 5 month old to doctors appointments at U of M. We live about 2 hours away. We were 10 minutes out from our destination when we experienced a flat tire. We were pulled over on the side of the highway, in the rain and now running late for our appointments. We called Greater Towing & they came out within 10 minutes & helped us get back on the road. On top of that I was having issues with my debit card & they still didn’t hesitate to help us. They are definitely not out to get anyone’s money. Truly they saved the day for us & I can’t recommend them enough.
After waiting 5 and a half hours for my insurance company's road side service, 3 trucks dispatched - none arrived, I called Greater Towing. They were there in 25 minutes!!! Fantastic prompt service. Would definitely call again!!!
Stay AWAY FROM THESE GUYS!!! Richard specifically over charge me on the tow because he said the place where he was towing my vehicle to will reimburse me. While there was a problem with some work they had done on the car, he took it as an opportunity to LIE and GOUGE me. He said, "I have done business with them before and they will reimburse you for the TOW because it was their fault you were stranded." Could not be further from the truth.
When asked about the price, he kept saying it was an after hour tow. He started the conversation by sayin because it was after 5 pm, there is another 100 added to the price. I was even okay with that, I get it . He had to tow my car 12miles and he charged me $425. There are no prices on their website, which leads me to believe he makes up the price whenever he feels like it.
These GUYS (RICHARD, I SHOULD SAY) IS A CROOK AND IT WILL COME BACK AROUND TO HIM!!!

This truck was driving over the required 65 mph for tow trucks, as well as cutting people off without using a blinker and brake checking them, when there was NO one in front of them.
Do not use this company. Wish I would’ve read the reviews ahead of time. Unprofessional, the guy just made up a price. Charged me 230 bucks to go ten miles. Then proceeds to tell me it was 290 when I paid him cash. I showed him the invoice he wrote up that stated 230. Clearly he just made up a quote.

They pick your car and they just take you to your destination and they charge you a ridiculous price and you have no choice to paid them.
They drive reckless and don’t care for other drivers. They should be put out bussines. Definitely reporting to the DOT department. They would rip you off. Do not get involved with this low life company.
Was driving down N. Territorial Rd where I passed a greater towing truck legally and was then tailgated and chased by the tow truck even after getting up to 70 miles an hour (55 mph road) to try and get away.I pulled off onto another road to notify the business and when I called, the guy who chased me answered, and after I explained the situation he responded with “your Chevy is slow buddy”. Dangerous driver and rude person. This must be a one man business since he drove the truck and answered the phone and I or any of my family members will never do business with this awful man.
This guy was driving around taking advantage of the bad weather pulling people out of ditches for outrageous prices. We broke down and he happened by, offered to tow us .4 of a mile for $575 after telling him we had to think about it for a moment he told us it was a take it or leave it deal and if we called him after he left he would not be back. We decided to go ahead since we weren’t sure how fast another company would be out again. He took our debit card and held it hostage while he went back to his shop for another truck to tow our vehicle. And if we had another company come by while he was gone he would charge us $300 to our card. It was going to cost us $750 to tow it 12 miles to a mechanic shop. Also he would only accept cash/debit card payment and refused a credit card payment over the phone. Every move this guy made made me feel cornered and taken advantage of. At one point he called over my husband and tried to talk him into the more expensive option out of my hearing. His personality fit the type as well he got angry when he was called out and blamed everyone but himself. After the ordeal I found out a different company was going to charge a max of 300 dollars to tow it 2 hrs away. Terrible would never recommend again. This guy does not care about customers only his wallet.
One of my wheels off while I was driving and they arrived just 15min after I had called. I realized, a service work was done 2weeks ago at a dealership has caused. Richard, I think the owner, even offered me to deal with dealership if they try to cheat me. He is willing to help me and very kind person. Made me feel better even a bad accident.
