I purchased a tailgate and upon paying for it, and cleaning it up when I got home there is a large dent that’s hard to tell because of reflections and dirtiness at the time. The dent caused structural damage to a weld inside the tailgate and now causes the tailgate to buckle everytime you go over a bump. I’m unable to return it because they don’t take returns or refunds on body parts. The only good part about them is the people working there were nice. Be careful about what you buy and make sure you exame it even if it claims to have no damage.
We bought a used Ford Focus with rebuilt title from them, price was OK. They were clean on paper work. But somehow they were not transparent about issues with the car. We found few issues later which they didn't mention it before. The washer fluid tank was moved from original position, and was not fixed. The door key was different from the original one. So overall you are buying on your risk, inspection didn't help.
I just bought my second vehicle from King. The whole staff is helpful and friendly. I had 8 mechanics look at it. None of them could find a problem. It took 20 minutes at the first one to figure out where it had been hit. That's impressive considering it was wrecked twice.

I got a Chevy Sonic from Joe about a year ago in August 2022. The car was in ok condition and sold for a decent price. I asked if there was any work that needed to be done and Joe claimed that the brakes were just messed from sitting for awhile but that they should be fine when I drive the car for a couple weeks. He also told me he’d fix up the tiny scratches on the back for free.
Everything was fine for the first month, and then the problems started. First of all, the brakes were warped so I had to replace those. Secondly, about 3 months in, it started having engine trouble. $1800 worth of constant fixing later and the car still isn’t great. The transmission seemed fine when I first drove it home but now it has completely given up on me. I’m upset that these men took advantage of a woman trying to find a decent vehicle. I always tell people that ask where I got my car, that I would never recommend their shop. I guess the next time I go for a car I’ll just bring my boyfriend with me
We recently purchased a car from Kings
Auto. I have purchased several rebuilt title vehicles over the years, so always trying to make sure repairs were done well. Joe with Kings was very professional, patient, and knowledgeable. Joe made this entire process so easy as I live in another state. He even arranged shipping to my driveway for about the cost I would have paid to fly up and driven it home.

I had trouble finding a part for my car and was referred to Kings by a yard more local to me. They confirmed that they had the part available over the phone as well as my Year, Make, Model, and Trim to ensure that I left with what I needed for my car. They pulled the part and called me when it was ready for pickup. I cannot recommend Kings enough, and am hoping that I'll be able to source parts from them for years to come. Thanks guys!

Then I find out that their warranty is only 30 days for the transmission .. And the salesman never mentioned that when I purchased it...

Bought a used vehicle from Joe and his dad. They were super nice, super upfront and honest about all aspects of the vehicle. And they were very fair about the price! Excellent customer service from someone you can trust!
Called to check availability of a part. After confirming it was there and available I drove 30 mins and waited another 20 minutes at least to be told we don’t know where the part is. SMH! My time was wasted not to mention fuel is not cheap. Won’t waste my time here again.
We were broke down on the highway and needed some pliers to be able to fix our car. They let us borrow a pair and refused to take payment when we wanted to repay them somehow. They seriously helped us out since we would've been stuck without it!!
We are very grateful to the owners for helping out our daughter. Her tire blew out on I-75 on her way to work. She exited freeway to a neighborhood she did not know, and luckily found Kings. They immediately found a replacement & did great job putting it on (at a cost so low I should not even mention it). Thank you Kings for your kindness & excellent service!!!!
The folks there seemed really nice like they really want to help you and they have good deals there too but it's like any other place all sales are final for the most part so make sure the part that you need is the one that you actually really need. Do a little bit of investigating before you purchase a part
Bought a transmission from them and was guanteed it was a good transmission with only 56k miles. This was a project car that I was working on as a gift for my wife. When we finally got time and finished all the other work that needed to be done to the suv and we installed the transmission and opened the fill unit the transmission fluid was mixed with antifreeze. when I informed them that the transmission fluid was mixing and was no good they informed me that it is past the 30 day warranty and nothing we will do. I under stand that part, but the way I was treated just to inform them of what was the issue telling me that the trans had only 56k miles and guranted me good transmission didn't think I would or should have had to check it before I got to that part since I have used them for years and never had a problem with there parts before. Ended getting a transmission runs excellent.
They burned me on this one don't think I will use them again .
To your response on the transmission, I own the shop and as they say the last car that is ever worked on is the mechanics, I spent over $5,000 putting this truck together and to your response I contacted you in September concerning this transmission, my truck can wait but my customers can't. this situation true did not put in until then considering what had to be done to this suv. drop the frame, front and rear struts new, upper and lower control arms, brake lines, fuel lines, hub bearings, rims, tires sway bar links and bushings and more items that i can count plus a transmission when your transmission came here the converter was empty and badly rusted but he assured me the transmission was fine had i opened the drain right then i would have never got this transmission from you . so to your answer I deal with honest and have a lot of pride on my work I have no parts EVER and I mean EVER been left outside, I have family members that own and operate salvage yards that transmission was left out at your place I still have the converter that is rusty as hell because I went and bought a new converter for this transmission, as I said to your counter guy this truck is mine, not a customers, and business comes first when it deals with fixing my own vehicles... .
When everyone else says no, the guys at King’s Auto Parts say yes. Thank you all so much for fixing my fender when no one else seemed to know how. Despite slight frame damage, you guys figured out a solution and got things looking just as normal as before. I’ll definitely be returning for more parts and service.
