I have been loyal to Taylor recycling now for well over 15 yrs simply because it's never busy and close to my house. Well today I was running late and was gonna be getting there about 30 mins before they close. Most places that wouldn't be an issue but I've watched on multiple occasions people get yelled at and humiliated by one particular worker. So instead of dealing with that I went to Southend metals today. This place is by far the best scrapyard I've ever been to! The guys in the back sorting materials and weighing them are laughing and having a good time and genuinely seem happy to help. I'll never go to another place!

What you'd expect from a high-volume salvage yard servicing the small to the large. Not to forget the pros of doing business with South-end. Teriffic hours of operation, fast friendly pay-out. Not to forget, it's a business and is to be ran as such or fail. If you want top pay for clean metal, make sure your load is cleaned before entering the yard. They over look some. Cleaning but don't appreciate complete cleaning of metals in their yard, that's how they make their money, and for the love of God clean up behind yourself. Awesome scrap yard, if you have a pricing issue take it to the office, maybe they can work with you.
