My car started to light up with the engine light and oil pressure light. I didn't want to drive it further and cause possible engine damage. He came to my house with his tow truck and picked up my car to take it to his shop. He kept in contact with me throughout the process and was really honest about the issue. I'd really recommend this place if you need someone to trust. He didn't try to upsell me on stuff I didn't need either which was nice.
I called them this morning for a lockout, and they were there within 15 minutes! Very professional, respectful, fast paced & well priced! Definitely going to be returning for future needs

I had a really good experience with Sam’s N Son. I was stressed and stuck, and from the first phone call Sam was calm, respectful, and straight up with me about timing and price. He showed up when he said he would, didn’t overcharge, and actually cared about helping instead of rushing through the job. You can tell this is a family-run business that values its reputation. I can’t say enough good things about Sam N Son Towing and Auto Shop. My car broke down at Detroit Airport around midnight, and they were actually available 24 hours like they advertise. They showed up quickly, towed my car, and brought it straight to their shop. The best part was that the same people handling the tow were also the ones repairing the car—so I didn’t have to worry about coordinating multiple tows or dealing with different companies.
Since I was from out of state and staying at a hotel, I really appreciated how fast they got the repairs done. They even dropped my car off to me at the hotel free of charge once everything was finished. That kind of service is rare.
Above all, the staff were incredibly friendly and genuinely empathetic about my situation. They delivered exactly what they promised, and my car now runs smoothly and feels like it’s in great condition again.

My family and I were in town for an event when we ran into an unexpected car issue upon arriving at our hotel. A quick Google search led me to Sam’s N Son 24 Hour Towing & Auto Repair, and I’m so glad it did!
I called and spoke directly with Sam a little after 10pm. He was incredibly helpful, asked questions to understand what was going on, and said he could be there in about 15 minutes—and he was! Sam quickly diagnosed the problem (a shifting cable issue) and was able to temporarily fix it so we could safely park the car for the night.
The next morning, Sam followed up promptly to confirm when he could return and gave me an estimated cost up front. By early afternoon Saturday, the repair was complete, and we were back on the road in plenty of time for our event. Our 2.5-hour trip home went perfectly—our car is running great!

Great service! I’m from out of town and was in need of a tow and mechanic fast in order to get 3 hours home! Picked my car up and had fixed the next day within a hour of getting the part and I made it home perfectly safe! Will definitely use them again now that I know who to call if anything ever happens out there again!

On a trip to the area I unexpectedly had car issues late at night and had to call for assistance. I was so lucky to call Sam’s N Son as he immediately alleviated the stress I had by arranging for me to drop my keys off and to pick up my vehicle the next morning. He also let me know he could do the work on my vehicle to make repairs if needed and that was just an added bonus to the service I had already received! Had car trouble late Friday night, called around Saturday morning and before Sam either no one could do it or was extremely expensive. When I finally called Sam he was super reasonable with his price and when we met he was super professional and nice. Called to request a tire change for a flat tire. After being sent to voicemail twice, someone finally answered and stated that they would not be getting on the road with this weather.
How a company claims to offer roadside assistance, but refuses to assist with a tire change (not a tow, or anything else complicated) on a Saturday morning at 10am with low traffic, no snow, no rain, no ice on the roads or inclement weather is beyond me.
Called after reading many positive reviews, but am now questioning the validity of them. Unless it’s the middle of the Summer, weather conditions are perfect and they feel like it, you’re going to need to call someone else.
Sam was so awesome, I was down and out on my luck. And he took the time out of his day to come help me out when I had no cash on me to afford to pay for the service to unlock my car. Sam is just such a great guy! I got a flat tire on the side of Southfield and 96 at 930pm. Used my roadside however the company issued to me is a scam business. I did not realize it until almost after 1am. Called around to multiple places claiming to be 24 hours tow no one would come. Got a hold of Sam and he was just an all around wonderful human being. He said he would come out and help. I was so distraught and exhausted at this point I was just crying. He was on the phone with me assuring me he was on the way and calmed me down. He arrived very promptly and got me and my car home safe. This is a wonderful guy with a great business.
Sam's n son was excellent. He arrived within 20 minutes of my request. My keys were locked in my car, and he was able to get it open on the first try in seconds. I've seen cops take over an hour to do the same thing. I highly recommend. Not too expensive either.
Sam was such a professional. I had a family member that was stranded and he answered the call and got there immediately, less than 15 minutes actually. He resolved the issue, called me to let me know and even waited until my family member left the area safely. His price is extremely fair, especially with how quick the turnaround is. Anytime I’m in need of this type of service, I will be reaching out to him.
This is a place I will continue to use as long as I live here in Michigan. 10 star customer service if I could rate it that high. Very kind and genuine. Prices are great on top of it!! Not to mention, Sam worked with my crazy call without hesitation. I will be suggesting him and this company to friends and family hands down. Needing a tow is never a good experience. But having people that care, come help you out and take care of you, makes it so much nicer.
