My F150 had an unexpected conversation with a deer a few weeks ago on a Saturday evening. Smith Towing was the after-hours company my roadside assistance contacted.
I wish the roadside assistance associated with my insurance company was as competent as the gentlemen at Smith Towing!!
I spoke with "Sam" several times to sort out the cluster and obvious scam the roadside assistance company was pulling. Sam was very patient and seemed genuinely to care about MY safety.
Because my truck had to be towed to their secure lot due to NONpayment from insurance company (grr), I had to continue to stay in touch with Smith's.
Sunday, my conversations were with "Mo". He, too, was very kind and patient with my calls.
In the end, they helped me make smart decisions regarding my truck.
Because of these men, I was steered in the RIGHT direction, rather than the sneaky ways of said insurance company.
I could say so much more, but the bottom line is: I am extremely grateful to Smith's Sam and Mo! 5 stars!
These guys were fantastic. Fast and friendly service. I had an emergency issue with my van that required towing and they responded very quickly, towed me, and then fixed my problem at a very reasonable price. I would certainly recommend them if you need help with your vehicle.

Best service I’ve ever had by far. I was stuck in the CVS drive through lane, stressed out and nervous, not knowing why my car wouldn’t shift into drive. Monty showed up in less than 30mins and knew right away what was wrong with my car. The whole process was pain free and I would even say enjoyable. Thank you guys so much!

My car wouldn’t start in the parking garage. I was on the 4th floor and Moe Khater had to push my car all 4 floors to the entrance, to hook my car up to his truck. He called when he arrived at my car, then again when he was finished towing my car to my desired location. He then waited for me to arrive to hand me my keys. No other towing company would get my car, but I am happy Moe was up to the task and retrieved my car. Very friendly and professional. Highly recommend!

Got stuck in some sand today. I called 2 other companies who couldn’t get the job done because of how severe it was. No fault on them. But after calling Smith’s towing service I was finally FREE! But what’s more impressive is how fast they got there and they didn’t give up. I whole heartedly suggest these guys they won’t let you down.
Mohammed didn’t take the time to make sure that the bolts on my spare were properly tightened, needless to say, it almost fell off before we got home.
Would not recommend.

Edited again: this company is now lying on me and stating that I didn’t call until DAYS later, which is completely untrue. My spare tire rocked back and forth ALMOST falling off and I had to pull into a shop to get it tightened and put on correctly way before I ever made it to my “ destination”
I called them thinking it was emergency # to my insurance State Farm road side assistance as I broke down in busy intersection. Turns out it was an independent company outside of State Farm which was deceiving. The service was exceptionally prompt and the driver was very thoughtful/caring person who was able to get me out of a bad situation. He also offered a ride home after we dropped the car off to a mechanic of my choice. The only part I did not like, the service was above my price range for a tow from Ann Arbor to Milan of $215.00 which was pricey I thought. Other then that, service was fast and professional. Driver went above and beyond my expectations of a tow service.
Absolutely the best service I have ever had. I had to have my EV towed to a charging station and when we arrived each of the chargers were undergoing a data reset. The driver (I wish I had asked him his name) waited patiently until the reset was over and I was successfully plugged in before he unhooked my car. He wanted to make sure my car was actually charging before he left. This was on a Sunday and they were one of the few towing services open. You just don’t find customer service like that anymore!
I had been waiting 8 hours for another tow company to retrieve my stalled truck. It was getting very late and my machinic was waiting all day for the vehicle. I decided to call another company. Monte with Smith's towing was 100% on the case. He was the dispatch attendant and deiced my situation was important enough for him to take care of me personally. With in 30 minutes the truck was picked up and on it way to its destination. Thank you again, Monte! I highly recommend Smiths they will be top of mind if ever needing a tow again.
Smith’s Service was responsive, arriving in less than one hour. Technician was courteous, kind, and quickly removed my flat and placed my spare so I could get to my appointments. I received an immediate electronic receipt which I sent to my insurance company. Terrific experience. I may never call any other automobile service again.
They were very quick to arrive. The driver even helped push my car out of a tight parking spot in order to get my car hooked up to the truck in a way that wouldn't damage my car, so I was appreciative of his knowledge and respectfulness. They are also reasonably priced!
Called them when my car died on the side of the busy expressway. They told me it would be between 30 and 55 minutes and they arrived just around 50 minutes. Monte was so kind and professional! He took such good care of our vehicle and made sure we were comfortable. Great job Smiths towing! Thank you for keeping us safe.

They were fast at responding, even had to send a bigger wrecker, They were so courteous and polite, Well priced and within reason.. The gentleman that came to pick up my car was awesome. So friendly and courteous. I really appreciated him along with the office personnel being wonderful to work with. Definitely will keep them in mind if needed in the future and will certainly share their information with friends & family.
Unprofessional company with unsafe and incompetent drivers. Apparently straps, safety chains, and tow lights are optional equipment now? All it takes is one time for something to go wrong and turn that truck into a 5000 pound object that’ll kill anyone in its path when it comes off the back of the truck.
If you have drivers doing stuff like this then they shouldn’t be trusted to touch your vehicle. Cutting corners due to laziness to save 30 seconds just shows the mindset of that driver.
I hope DOT has a run in with this driver and company also. They would have the time of their lives racking up violations and fines.
This is stupidity at its finest and it really isn’t something that should be taken lightly. I hope people who read this review get the point too.
I had several wheel studs break on my truck’s rear tire on a commute home and started a AAA roadside assistance request. Smith’s Towing was dispatched and arrived slightly after the arrival time. Mohammad did a great job and was very thorough and careful while taking me home. I would not hesitate to call them again for help. 5 stars.
