Hugs amount of craft goodies for all kinds of crafts. Even found thread for bobbin lace, which is impossible to find. You have to be willing to look through for what you're looking for, but it is well with it. Staff is super friendly.

Interesting colection of objects that could be used in creative and artistic ways, that would have otherwise been put in a land fill.

A great store to come for all of your craft needs! I personally enjoy making birthday cards using materials I find at this store such as stickers, colored paper, blank cards, and washi tape. Lots of friendly faces here!

This is an awesome shop to find any kind of craft supplies. I found a whole bunch of unique and interesting stickers and definitely like to check it out once in a while!

It's not for everyone. You gotta have a hobby first. I do. So it was VERY MUCH for me! Here's a picture of all the things I got. (So they aren't there anymore...sorry. I got 'em already.) I was standing with them all in my arms when my partner Scott came up to me and said: "There's nothing in this store for me." I said REALLY?? This store is great. But then I have a hobby. (I like to vintage junk journal and scrapbook in case you wondered.) Grab a rolling cart with a handle at the entrance when you walk in and fill it up with your hobby heaven. (The lady in front of me in the checkout line had a CASE of jewelry boxes because she does art shows with her custom jewelry.) I was so overwhelmed when I walked in the door that I didn't see the rolling carts until I was checking out. I had my hands overflowing and some things saved at the counter for me as well. Be smart. Grab a cart and scout out stuff....or walk out the door and wait in the car if that's your preference. Don't miss the large drum of paperclips and grab a handful. I literally gasped when I saw the huge amount. (Scrapbookers use paperclips and I left plenty for you.) Crazy cool place and just too much fun here. (For some of us.)

Very fun idea for bits and bobs you'll never finish crafting or leftovers! Seem to be pretty good prices and very busy! Lots of barrels at the back to dig through for treasure. Rest of the store sorted into project types

the cost of yarn here is ridiculous. bordering predatory. it’s clearly scraps and there’s not enough of any one yarn to make one thing but they are charging $2-3 for maybe 1/3 of a full skein. i found a full skein of lily sugar and cream cotton yarn priced at $3.50 when they are $1.90 new at any store. it’s kind of an overpriced trash can in there. it’d be cooler if it was a cheap trash can you feel me, i showed up for trash but i don’t want to be overcharged for actual trash.

They don’t offer bulk discounts, which led me to spend way more money than the random bits and bobs were worth. The cashier was rude when I asked :/

I love this place!! Selling used craft supplies is genius! They have almost everything.

A lovely mess. Odds and ends and supplies! I love checking here often to see what's new. The staff are also very nice ❤️

Great premise and very well kept store! So very organized. This is a fantastic store for crafters to find almost anything they need for a project!

Go here first if you're on a creative endeavor. It's also a great place if you're looking for inspiration and ideas. When I was running an after school art club, it was a wonderful place to go every week to see if there was something new I could introduce the kids to.

A vibrant local spot for reuse, with an extremely broad variety of materials and found objects at an unbeatable pricing structure. If you're passionate about obtaining recycled items in bulk or on a piece-by-piece basis, this is your mecca.

This place remains one of my favorites! I had birthday parties with them as a kid and now love chatting with folks while donating my excess crafts - love SCRAP!

I was treated with intense hatefulness and exclusion upon entry to the store. I had no other business but to pay for the admission for two children to attend and purchase a seat for myself at an art class, however I was attacked and questioned with such anger as though we absolutely did not belong there. An employee accused me of not paying and berated me in front of other customers. Perhaps if we were Caucasian we would have been spared the interrogation and treated with more dignity.

What a great idea and great store. So great for the involvement! Friendly staff. Lots of interesting and unique things and supplies for the creative mind. Surprisingly well organized into general categories, items, and colors. Space rental for classes and groups or parties.

Fun place to find all the odds and ends in any craft project you are working on. I could spend hours coming up with so many projects from the items in this store. I will be making many more trips here.

I have been shopping at the scrapbox for nearly 20 years. I loved how big their "fill a bag" section was at their old location but the new location still had plenty of good stuff for creating, exploring and inventing. My 7 year old had a blast picking up stuff for his classroom. We got all we needed and more.

This store is a GEM! Organized, clean and everything you could ever imagine or need. I love this shop. Not sure if they have a public restroom but a small treasure for sure!

I went in just to see what there was and the amount of stuff is incredible and amazingly affordable! I picked out some pens, papers, post cards, and a couple pins and I only spent like $4. The pens are in good shape too- just check them on the paper pads provided. This was a real life saver cause I want to experiment with highlighters, but they’re so expensive I couldn’t justify the purchase if I ruined the markers and this was so exciting to get some and play around with art again!

This place is amazing. They have so many different items to use for projects. They also are so helpful, polite, and respectful. And they take donations of things that you might otherwise have difficulty recycling. I love coming here and plan to bring my grandchildren to look around before we begin our next project.

This is my kid's favorite place in the world (they know us both by name now lol). We're here at last once a month for an event. He loves walking around and looking at everything, and I'm not crafty but I usually end up finding a few things for me, too. The to go kits are my favorite! We spend $5 and end up with a full day's worth of activities, even for a young kid. They're great with my kid, which is the easiest way to win my heart. I've started volunteering because I appreciate it so much, and I let everyone know about it, from friends to coworkers.

Gold mine! I love this place. I’ve donated a lot of cool things for reuse. And it’s so much fun looking at all of the items for sale: sample containers, buttons, bubble wrap, paint brushes, earrings, beads, fabric scraps, old slides. I love seeing moms with their kids encouraging creativity. I can think of so many types of people that can benefit and so many creative project ideas. Every time I come there are new displays. Very organized and well signed.

Absolutely amazing experience! I wish I would’ve found out about this place sooner. The prices are great and I literally got a bookmark set, 64 pack of crayons, 10 pack of markers and 20 colored pencils for about $6. They have a lot of variety including yarn, glasses, vinyls, bookmarks, school supplies such as mechanical pencils, calculators, binders, etc. as well as magazines, thread and so much more. The customer service was also great as well. The staff was very kind and the store has flags for BLM and LGBT! All in all, an easy 5 stars and I will definitely be back soon. Thank you guys so much!

Nonprofit artistic reuse center! Whatever you might want - records, colored pencils, stamps, plastic gems, fabric, picture frames, paper - they have everything and more. They just opened up a classroom for drop-in crafting, which looks pretty cool.

This store is a budget crafter's paradise. They have tons of supplies that you would normally only be able to buy in bulk, like buttons, fabric swatches, string, stickers, paper, (and more) and a treasure trove of jewelry sold by the ounce. I got all the things in the photo for less than $2 total. So cheap! It doesn't even seem fair. But I'll be donating some of my own jewelry back, so it evens out ? (Note, it can be hard to find earrings with pairs, but that's fine by me cuz I can use them as necklaces or for making hair clips or wear them asymmetrically!) They also have larger items like glue guns, trophies, baskets, bottles, and a bunch of other random things. My friend bought a lap harp last time we were there. It's such an adventure. And it's really nice to know that there is a place where I can take my random "junk" that I decide I don't have a purpose for so that it won't go to waste. It might be exactly what someone else needs to complete their project. How fun!

NEW LOCATION ! (As of November 9th 2019). They are no longer down by Costco but over on Washtenaw Ave right next to Once Upon A Child. This is a genius move! I am always stopping into the kids clothing store for things and here is another perfect stop for craft supplies, busy board making, hot glue gun projects, sewing supplies, sensory bins with little treasures, bits of this and bits of that...Go check it out!

This store has a little bit of everything. Things other people might consider junk until you see how the workers have set them up to be cute crafts. You can find lots of paper, old CDs/ vinyls, binders, boxes, canvass and sometimes new stuff too. Either way, worth checking out.
