Beware - had a contract with set date/time to get a dumpster for a remodel project. Move day came and the dumpster never showed up. When called, they offered no concern and simply offered to cancel the delivery. This caused major disruption to the project. We had to go with some one else short notice and pay more. Stay way from these guys unless you are willing to live with major flexibility in your scheduling.
As a carpenter I've been going here for the better part of 20 years, in the past year it's really gone down hill. Today the heavy set woman at the gate insisted that my three quarters of a yard was in fact a full yard, and became belligerent when I protested. They're convinced that a 5' bed holds a yard and a half.... like yeah, maybe if it's water or something. I've attached photos so you can see it's like 60% the length of my bed, not to the top, and with massive voids that will get annihilated by the dude in the giant front end loader. Lately they just seem to try to screw you as much as possible.
This place is the best. It fills the gap that our normal A2 curbside service can't handle. Know the guidelines for what they accept and don't accept. Measure out the volume of your load, and they'll get you in and out quickly.
Great place for recycling construction material and big metal appliances. We recycled our old, heavy water heater. Staff was super kind. check the webpage or call to know which kind of materials they take.
Drove 30 min with full load because close time says 4pm. Got there at 346 and after explaining woman says well we arent Google you can come back at 7. Said they cant change what time it says it closes, grant iti was 1 minute late from suppose actual time with a dump trailer. You lost thousands here. Rude as could be.
Just had the seventh 20 yd. can pulled from a very difficult construction site in downtown Ann Arbor, I can not speak more highly on the timeliness of the deliveries and pulls by this company and the extremely professional and courteous manner which Ryan the driver operates in. His care for the safety of his work and those around is exemplary. A valued member of our project!
I love recycling large items here. You have to pay to dispose of nearly everything, but its worth it when you need to dispose of six million pieces of old tile, or other similar 'how do I get rid of that' items.
Calverts has always been a very reliable company. They are reasonably priced on time service and very friendly. They recycle every item that is entered into their yard. I always use them and refer them to my clients ,
Single stream recycling is worth the effort to get there before they close, 2:00 on Saturday and 4:00 M-F. Closed on Sunday. They have been extremely nice to me, but it's really not setup for the average Joe. Did I mention the single stream recycling ... it's worth it!
