I bring a lot of brass here like solid bronze and brass. At least 150-300lbs every other week. They actually have treated me very fair and I have always been happy leaving there until today.... the guy that runs the yard, Derek is not for the customers! He hired so gumpy clown to run the scale when Travis isn't. Anyway the guy is lazy n does bad business. If he has to do a min more of work then he won't do it even after he agreed to take my brass 5mins b4 closing. It takes 2 secs. Derek for you to allow that man to decline my metal after he already agreed to take it is wrong. You don't just throw a customer away cuz u hired a lazy man child. When I came in there was 5mins left. If you can't get with being a manager by now then step down n let matt Charles or Travis take over. I hope it felt good watching me beg... I always come right b4 closing and it's never been a issue until hired a kid.

Worst junk yard ever drove all the way to Whitmore lake to find out their phones are connected to the one in Howell Didn't have time to get the part before 5 o'clock and lost my job over it because I needed a part to get my car running
BUYER BEWARE
I bought an engine with a 30 day warranty/return. My car ended up not needing it. When I went to return it, the guy told me it had been 31 days and there was nothing he could do. I counted 30 days, he counted 31. When actually it had only been 26 days since they had taken it out. I guess the warranty/return starts when you pay a deposit not when they make the part available. This was always my go to place, but not any more. I will NEVER spend another dime here.
They have just about any part you might need at fair prices the guys at the recycling are friendly and knowledgeable probably the best place to go the yard is very clean not full of sharp objects to drive over
They have a bit of a complicated process. We dropped off wire and ballasts in one area. Then had to drive on a scale. After the green light, we had to drive to the back & unload the metal. Then back on scale for a final weight, and park. Final step was back to office for payment.
This has been a cold winter my car battery died I had a job interview I called several places for a battery new and used I couldn’t locate one I called this place the gentleman that answered the phone was very pleasant when I arrived they were the most hospitable people I’ve ever met they were actually a life saver I truly appreciated their help now while I don’t have much knowledge of cars this place had a humongous compound I think this place would have what ever your looking. Ooh ladies the gentleman that changed my battery was o’ so handsome ☺️
I was pleasantly surprised by the promptness of their service- to get a car and take it to their yard. Very easy process. I would have liked a few more bucks for my truck, but I was not shopping scrap price. If nothing else goes awry, I will leave the post as is.
Called in the morning looking for hard to find parts. They did a search and called back within a few minutes. Then took photos so I would know they were right. Very fair price. Thanks
The guys who recycles car is a liar and a cheat. They discussed one price over the phone, then when they picked up, it was $100 less than what was discussed. Lying dirty people.
