Huge shout out to sakstrups/brewers. Kyle is the man. He saved the day in a emergency situation and was very professional and calm. Got to our situation as fast as emergency personnel did. Can't say enough on how great of a guy kyle is and the company he works for. Would give 10 stars if I could !
I had local ann arbor company brewer's/sakstrup's move a shipping container for me. They sent a very professional and skilled driver to move the container. Overall I was very impressed with the entire process from scheduling to moving the container. They were also reasonably priced and were about mid range in comparison to the other prices I received. This is the second time I have used brewers and will definitely not be the last.
All these reviews have to be fake because they will tow you for parking at your own apartment unit. I didn’t have my parking pass hung up just was on the dash…. Can’t image having a more miserable job where you hawk out a parking lot just to steal money from people even when the manager didn’t call them they just CAME.
Thankful for Sakstrups tonight! Truck decided it didn't want to drive anymore. After trying some things, we accepted defeat (for now) and needed a tow. Called, questions answered, guy was sent outnright away, only had to wait maybe 30min. Ryan showed up, was super nice. Made it a totally painless process, now we're home safe. Thank you for being available and being reasonably priced!
Whoever that black girl is behind the counter didn't like my "attitude" and refused to accept my payment. Ended up calling the cops who ultimately made her take my payment. I don't know who she thinks she is but shes not it. Needs a to be fired. Wasted my now 2 tow truck drivers time, the 2 cops time, her time, the companies time, taxpayers money all for what some weird egotistical satisfaction? Also they overcharge because they have a contract with the police soyou have no choice but to pay, good luck.

Whoever the girl is handling phone calls tonight needs to learn proper work etiquette or be let go. I called to get a quote on having my car towed somewhere & was polite the entire time. All I did was give her the addresses of where to get my car & where it's going. I then asked what the total would be for the mileage & she responds "I can't give you that." I simply asked her why not & then got an extremely snarky response of "Well you're free to find out yourself"...whatever that means. I was calling you ready to pay for a service. It's pretty weird & off putting when just asking for a price is a bother to you.
Luke was awesome! Came super quickly and got me out of a real rough spot. Really cool on the car ride home, and made a bad situation for me a whole lot better. Also backed into my driveway like an expert! Thanks Luke
whole experience was awesome, Luke made my night 10x better. he has an amazing attitude, very uplifting, and is such an easy and fun guy to talk to. he made the process simple and stress free for me. the cost was reasonable and honestly ideal considering other shops’ pricing. i’m so glad i called them!
Charged me $100 to get pulled out of some mud. Steep price, but i’m in a desperate situation, so i agree to pay $100. I was then told someone would be here in 30 minutes. 45 minutes later, i called back and was told that yhey had to help somebody in an accident, but i’m next and it’ll be about 30 minutes. 30 minutes later, i call again because i still have not seen a tow truck and was told that the truck was on the way to me and would be there in 10 minutes. 20 minutes later, and they have stopped answering the phone. I’ve been waiting to be towed for almost 3 hours now. Needless to say, i would not recommend to a single person in need. Try budget towing. Theyre a bit more pricy, but theyre also more professional and were here in less than 10 minutes.
i had an accident and my car was left at the scene to be towed. i had 3 bags of clothes and blankets and pillows as i was on my way back from an up north trip. after my car was taken to their shop, the shop mysteriously couldnt find ANY of my stuff. they claimed that it must have flown out of the car when i crashed. they left my car in their lot and my parents said nothing was in the car. they even went to the scene of the accident to see. nothing. they didnt have an answer for me. i was very upset. after my parents demanded them to look at their security cameras, they just so happened to call within the next 30 minutes telling me my stuff was at the shop. then why couldnt any of my stuff be found when we were EXTENSIVELY looking. asking multiple people at the shop if they knew where my stuff was. still no answer. i think someone tried to steal my stuff here and when they realized we were onto them, they decided to come clean and tell me my stuff was there. i dont care what kind of shop you are. you shouldnt “lose” someones stuff. absolutely unacceptable. very suspicious and i feel they disrespected me by trying to get away with taking my stuff. just be warned when you have your vehicle towed. it is very common for stuff to be stolen by towtruck drivers according to my uncle who works for insurance. he said it happens all the time. i think i was just about to be their next victim. especially since i had expensive things in my bags like $1000 in cash and an ipad. never thought this would happen to me but it did.
Where do I start. At the scene of the accident the tow truck driver said that i cannot have my vehicle towed to my residence, which I've had done before. He told me he was taking it to their lot until i have a place chosen. Of course they want to collect storage fees and rake in more money. After signing a release form to obtain everything from my vehicle they told me that I still had to contact my insurance so they could set up a tow. This was probably one of the worst experiences I've had. My SUV was in their lot for almost a week which delayed me in getting a rental along with other things. AVOID this place at all cost.
We picked up a steel rod on the highway and stopped at the nearest exit. Googled towing and called this place. Very nice guy came to our rescue (2 women with 2 kids) within 15 mins. He was able to get our tire changed & helped us get on our way within an hour. Highly recommend!
The driver (#75) that came out and hooked up my car damaged the oil pan. He told me they will weld it, not replace it. They've also turned a half-day repair into a multi-day, multi-mechanic hassle. No talk of reimbursement for the tow, transportation expenses, etc.
I've called multiple times and every time somebody different answers the phone but they each seem to have the same ornery attitude. I could understand revisiting a business after a problem like this if they were courteous and apologetic but Sakstrup's has been an absolute pain to deal with today.

Lori followed up and heard my issues. She handled the transportation costs after the damage and promised to look into the phone problems. She was the best part of my Sakstrup's experience.
My car was out of battery and died at the gas station when I was about to leave. Called Sakstrup and a lady named Cheque (sorry if I spelled that wrong) arrived within 30 mins. She helped me jumped start my car and also checked the car for me. She was super nice and understanding. I appreciate the service. Would definitely recommend it!
If I could give a company 0 stars it would be this one. My keys got locked in my vehicle and the police station recommended these guys to help. The man on the phone was rude to start and never gave me a price for what I called them out for. Then they told me it would be $70 to just to open my door and I had to pay that, even though they didn’t worn me on the phone in advance. Unprofessional and would not recommend to anyone looking for a reliable tow service.
Today after an accident made my car un-drivable, the Officer contacted Sakstrups. They arrived in less than 5 minutes. The driver Carl allowed me to ride with him back to my home in DeWitt and was such a kind gentleman that my “thanks” from my whole heart is all I could offer. Superior customer service!!!
Had a truck break down on me today. They were out to me very quickly and had me back at the station in great time. Driver was awesome. I apologize I don’t remember his name but he was a really cool dude made the drive back very comfortable. Greatly appreciated!! Will definitely use again.
I waited 5+ hours for a AAA tow and finally went online to search towing companies near me. Called Sakstrup and 20 minutes later it was Luke to the rescue. Luke, quickly and expertly, hooked up my car. He lifted the front without a scratch on the extra molding and lifted the back wheels on a dolly to protect my dead all-wheel drive car. He delivered it to the dealer, landing it perfectly in a spot on the lot. He was so kind and helpful. Thank you, Luke! I appreciate you!
My car broke down and these guys saved me!
I must have hit something because my Golf suddenly lost power and I couldn't even start it. This was at 12:30AM on a Sunday night. This company was the first to pop up in my search and they took care of me. They said it would take 30 mins to reach me but it was more like 10-15. The price to hook up and tow was more than reasonable, after everything was said and done with hookup fees and everything I paid around $107 (~10 mile trip), due to the time this happened and everything else I was expecting to pay north of $200. The tow truck driver was extremely nice and sympathetic.
On my phone these guys had a low review but that's probably just because nobody likes to be towed, but when an emergency arises they are there to help you. The driver was calming and understanding, and even gave me some tips for how to deal with insurance companies. Major props! I will use them in the future in the event something happens or I will recommend them to others if they are unfortunate and need a tow.
Everything was done very professionally, very fast, and the price was lower than expected. If you find yourself stranded like I did then you can't go wrong with these guys! They will help you any time on any day. The driver even parked my car in a way that it looks like I parked it there myself. Everything was very professional yet courteous. I definitely recommend!
Paul was very kind, patient, and helpful. The dispatch was compassionate, friendly, and efficient. They took my truck where I wanted and filled out my information with them. It was extremely affordable. I could not have asked for a better experience, other than the car trouble of course.
I'm sorry if others had horrible experiences, but they were amazing for me. They drove out of their usual working radius (very fast might I add) to get me off the highway because the driver knew I was stuck in a dangerous area. He towed me to a safe area, changed my tire quickly and I was on my way. Very fair pricing (was going to charge me the lower quoted price but I opted for the correct one because of the extra help he chose to give me. I'd call them again with no doubt.
Took over an hour and a half to arrive, but it's understandable given that this happened on the first major snow of the year and I'm sure they were up to their ears. Once they arrived had a great experience though. The guy was cool and professional and was a great help.
