Absolutely horrible towing company.
The driver had the worst attitude, was rude and unprofessional. But the worst part? He towed my car to Toyota, left the window rolled down, the key on the dashboard, and never checked it in with the dealership.
I had no idea this happened until a week and a half later. Thankfully, my car wasn’t stolen, but it sat exposed to snow and rain the entire time.
When I called to ask where my car and key were, the driver was annoyed that I called, said he’d get back to me, and never did. He acted like I owed him something, even though the service was fully paid for.
Do not trust this company with your vehicle.
Well I was in an accident on 23 in the slush my car dispatched this company driver was alright. Management on the other hand is a different story. They tried to have the driver leave me on the side of the road because apparently the insurance wouldn’t cover the tow and I already said I would pay out-of-pocket if you’re in need of assistance find a different company.
My boyfriend and I broke down on Christmas Day. We were stranded on the side of M14. A tow truck from this company was dispatched by AAA. The tow truck got to us less than 30 minutes after being dispatched. The driver was extremely kind!! He got the truck loaded up in under ten minutes and got it back to my boyfriend’s shop safe and sound. He dropped it off exactly where we wanted it, so that it could easily be pushed into the shop.
It was the best outcome for the situation we were in. Obviously, no one wants to be broken down on Christmas Day. However, the tow truck driver made it a seamless experience for us and like I said, was extremely kind.
I absolutely recommend this company!! I wish we got our tow truck driver’s name so we could give him a proper shoutout. He was awesome. (:
One of the Nationwide drivers tried to take me out in a roundabout. How does someone drive for Nationwide Roadside Assistance as a tow truck driver in a company truck and not understand in a roundabout you yield to traffic in the round about coming from your left? He never slowed down, never braked and drove straight in. If I had not locked up the brakes as hard as I could, he would have hit me. As it was, he missed me by inches. Thank goodness I have great brakes and tires. Unbelievable. They love their customers so much, they try to take out drivers.
This company towed my car and I called 3 times and once with the leasing agent again to confirm but every time they said they did not have my car. An hour later they finally confirmed they had my vehicle but at the location (Hiscock St) nobody was here to let me get my vehicle. Customer service hung up on me when I asked for a wait time and after 1-2 hours it came out to 385 dollars in cash after being lied to the entire time. Do not trust this company.
Unfortunately I didn't get past the lady who answered the phone. She clearly didnt want to be at work or wasnt wanting to take a service call.... very short and rude!! I'm already pissed I need tow service. Last thing I need, is someone who seems to be more pissed off then I am.
This place is alright, but they desperately need to replace the guy answering the phone. He has poor communication skills and is dishonest about wait times and whether or not there are drivers available. The language barrier made this even more difficult. I was stranded on the side of the freeway and was originally told the truck would arrive in 45 to 60 minutes. After over an hour I called again and was told it would be 15 to 20 more minutes. I was told this two more times, then put on hold and the guy hung up on me. I eventually got a call from the driver and he said he was still about an hour away and had been responding to a different call in another area. The driver arrived when he said he would and when hitching a ride in the truck with him I personally witnessed the dispatch person try to assign the driver another call before he was even close to done with mine (which happened to be a long distance tow and would take some time). The timeline he was asking for was unreasonable and illogical based on the amount of time my tow was going to take. I also had trouble communicating what my location was to dispatch (largely due to the language barrier) and I suspect I was billed for a longer distance than I actually had my car towed. The way I see it the driver is not at fault as he was up front with dispatch about what his capabilities were, such a shame that the dispatch person is intentionally misleading people about times. Otherwise was a good experience and the driver did a good job.
Review update: it's been months and no one has reached out to fix the issue.
Paid $85 for this company to unlock my truck, the guy they sent had no clue what he was doing. My door is bent and paint is chipped due to prying my door too wide and using a long aluminum pole. Definitely don't call these guys to unlock your vehicle.
I had my car towed to the Ypsilanti location on Mansfield for issues that resolved on arrival. Instead of charging me unnecessarily, they were honest and provided no-cost or low-cost solutions for other concerns I mentioned. Their honesty and helpfulness were outstanding. If my car has any issues in the future, I’ll definitely be bringing it back here. Highly recommend!
Worse service I've ever had. I continued to be pushed back into the que. I guess there was an accident. Then AAA continued to lie about update times. Why wasn't I transfered to another tow company or told up front that it would take much longer? I contacted nationwide directly and was told another 45min due to the accident. They would update me. 45 minutes later I never hear back, so I called again. I'm told another 20 minutes due to whatever reason. At this point my wife is here with my two toddlers waiting over an hour. I didnt feel comfortable leaving my vehicle due to the belongs inside. I waited 4 hours (330pm call till 720pm drop) to get a tow less than a mile away from my destination. I think you could afford to send someone for a 10 minute job instead of making them wait 4 hours. Poor priority calling. Then when the guy showed up he wasnt very nice. He had no interest in having a conversation. I told him I'd ride with him but later he told me to meet him there because I had a ride. I hope I hear from nationwide towing regarding more than a apologize.

Had to call AAA when my jeep completely broke down in a different state. Was the fastest tow truck iv seen, we've waited hours in our home city before. The guy travica, with truck 3, was super friendly and knowledgeable. Able to helps us out quickly as we were in a hurry to make the four hour drive home which now had to be in two parts by my partners parents because of the jeep breaking down. Pretty good servece.
I was originally given an estimate of 45-75 minutes, after which they closed my ticket and tried to claim they already came and helped me get into my car for my keys. After I pushed back they said they would “come back” in 20 minutes, which they kept extending to another 20 minutes, and another 20 minutes, etc before they eventually just cancelled my service via a text after a total of 3 hours of waiting. I would not recommend using them.
These guys were very professional, prompt, and helpful. They came as soon as they got the call from my insurance and had my car at the shop within a half hour of dispatch. I'd definitely recommend them and will be using them again if I have a car issue again in the area.
This company puts its customers first. They Understood my situation, arrived to me in less then 30 minutes and without any questions also dropped me off home. The driver was nothing but professional, helped cheer up my day and dropped me off. This will be the only company i ever use from now on.

They delayed the appointment time by about 3 hours without giving any notifications. I understand that the service takes time, but even after a call, it way surpassed the time that they promised. If your time is valuable, don't use this service
Just wanted to say that my experience with nation wide towing was actually a good experience. Thanks to my tow driver Ashton who was very professional , helpful, and quick with getting the job done. My car was in a Walmart parking lot which was hard to tow my truck 97 Chevy Tahoe obs. Ashton was on top of his game and came up with a master plan to get my vehicle with no damage to it or other parked cars around the parking lot.
Nationwide was sent by my roadside service AAA.
The driver Eric arrived promptly and was already getting set up to hook up my jeep before I even came out of my house. He was extremely professional and helpful. He reminded me to go through and remove personal papers from glove box before leaving.
I have my jeep tow to a personal mechanic that is about 1 1/2 hour drive and Eric delivered my jeep with no problems.
Would recommend this tow company.
I just had to say that the service I received from Dwayne was the best that I could have asked or hoped for. He was extremely personable and very efficient with him getting my car hooked up and towed to and from a place that was not the easiest to get in and out of. I couldn't speak more highly of Dwayne and the service he provided. He was the best.
Moe ripped my tire off my car and Tony still has not called me back after I sent my pics to him not to mention I had to argue with Moe the driver that I was driving a Ford Crown Vic not a freaking Mercury
The man was so kind and courteous. As a woman, he respected me as an intelligent adult and did not talk down to me. He explained everything thoroughly in terms of what his readings indicated. He was awesome! I wish I had gotten his name, so he could see his name in print!

Arrived exactly when they said they would! Very professional. Technician tried his best to get our car to start. After the first try, he was pretty sure the battery wouldn’t hold a charge, but he checked and rechecked his equipment, and waited a few minutes, tried again. And again. Unfortunately the battery really was dead.
I’m all about customer service! And I received amazing customer service. I even gave the lady the wrong address and she still found me!! She called to let me know she was on the way! I chatted her ear off, and she was not annoyed!! It was really nice to meet her! She changed my huge tire and told me how to fix the flat tire! She was even kind to my rambunctious dog. She deserves a raise!! Definitely 5 star service!!!
Are use this company as they were who progressive sent to me when I needed a jumpstart. As soon as I placed the request for the jump I received a text message letting me know the link so I can track the drivers progress. It also gave me the name of the person and let me know what type of truck to expect. When he arrived he was pleasant prompt and took care of my battery quickly. He also asked about the age of my battery so he could give advice whether I needed to Look into buying a new one. I am very happy that progressive sent this company to me.
