I have too much fun at the junkyard. I didn't know you could find so many things besides car parts at the junkyard. I found a tent that was still in the I'm. The staff was professional and friendly. I also found some wicker there
Went in looking for a hubcap for my GMC Terrain. The guys told me where I might find it out back. They even offered the loan of tools to get it off, if I found one. I found something close, but unfortunately it didn't fit. They did a lookup on the computer and gave me a print out of someone that might have it.
All in all, it was a positive experience. The guys were very friendly, and very helpful.
I love the service and they're always courteous and they don't have no problem with letting you know if you cannot remove the parts yourself they will be more than happy to do it for you I will always choose Clark's auto for parts needed for my vehicle
I have never had an issue! I feel they are fair and nice. They just don't tolerate nonsense. If you don't like the prices you can always go somewhere else.
Great prices and staff that can't be beat until you get to the big city and then maybe. If you're into searching for cost effective metal stock at scrap-salvage pricing, I've found usable material for a variety of metal shop basic projects over the last decade. Amazing what can be found and restored as well, if not already in almost or actual working order off the salvage heap pile. Name brand parts in the yard as well and sure beats going to the casino for the thrill, of the hunt and just checking out vehicles for potential parts.
Best price around if they have the parts in stock in the yard on a parts car or sometimes up front. Just be sure to bring tools and if you need a jack. If you're looking for metal stock, they've got that as well. Though for the metal stock prepare to rummage around the scrap heap. Amazes me what I've found there over the years name brand as well.
Very nice place to ball on a budget if your fixing your car and want to save money go here ! Great place with helpful people that know what they got ! Definitely will use them as a first resource for my personal repairs or car part need ! Thank you guys !
Left work an hour early, just to get there and be turned away 40 minutes before they close. If u close at 5 why wont you do any business after 415? bum behind the counter was obviously lazy. Every answer was no, no, no...thats ok I'll spread the word.
I went to the hartford body shop for my business once but the service was terrible! I decided I would try a different location but did not want to drive far. I tried Clark’s and there service was impeccable! The staff was amazing & product was wonderful. I will continue coming here for my needs. Definitely recommended!
Went there looking for an old ford transmission and transfer case to replace the one in my current truck. I went Saturday morning around 10:45, which was very close to yard closing time (11:30). I was very thankful that they allowed me in that late, no yard fee, just signed in and through the door I went. Awesome! At this time I was just hunting... After visiting the yard I found the transmission/t-case that I desired and went to inquire. After explaining to the sales man what kind of trans/t-case it was and what vehicle it was going in he proceeds to quote me $450 for the transmission and $150 for the t-case, so $600 for the pair. which I thought could be a fair price if there was some kind of warrenty on the parts. He said there was, but continued on to say that at this lot they don't allow you to pull your own transmissions, and if the trans/t-case broke that I would have to eat the "pull it" part of the price, which confused me.
First off, I was under the assumption that this was a you pick your own parts salvage yard. Not, you pick some parts. Second, if that policy really does exists then I would recommend having it posted somewhere that is in the sight lines of the customer. Finally, I really hope that it is an existing policy that I over looked; because, I feel that since I'm young, 28, and have an even younger appearance the gentlemen at the counter believed he could pull a fast one. Which is very disappointing... I love supporting small, local, family owned businesses. If I'm way off base, and someone can confirm I made mistake and overlooked this policy, I will delete this review, and return my business.
Unfortunately I was unable to work today but fortunately enough a friend of mine was heading to Clarks Auto Parts and I was in need of a part but I was unable to reach they vary among the newer trucks on where they're located but I did walk out of there antique pair of loppers and a nice fishing pole for $5 time well spent with a friend and a good deal on top of it it was cold but it was well worth it I would recommend Clark's to anyone
The yard is reasonably organized and contains a vast selection. Easy access to the yard by signing in. Customer service is friendly and efficient. Prices are quite reasonable and I would recommend this establishment to anyone. Just make sure to bring proper tools as you will have to get parts yourself.
One of the better if not the best salvage yards around. You can go and pull your own parts if you'd like as compared to some you are not able to and have to pay for them to do it. They also have the option that if you would like for them to pull parts for you they can do that for a bit extra.
