I went everywhere for help tk find someone to fix my car everyone couldnt or wouldnt even give me a min to look at it without even quoting me outrageously and bejng a single mom on fix income i needed car because i am battling cancer unfortunately and i needed a reliable car to get me to treatments to have a chance and I pulled into action Auto and without hesitation Bill and brian both helped and went through everything with me that needed to be done and priced it and they were out to get rich but they were out to help and that they did they made my car safe to wear I can drive it now for me n my kids n chance of surviving and beating this cancer... I will NEVER take my car anywhere else. Such compassion n caring people n i am forever grateful and the lord definitely will bless them... So if you need a good place that's not going to just want to get rich and not care about you or anything go somewhere else but if you want a caring place with compassion in honesty and great people who bust their butt to do all that they had to do and not even charge that much on labor I recommend action Auto to anybody and I will never go anywhere else ever again nobody will ever touch my car besides action Auto thank you action Auto for all that you done I will definitely be sending more people your way you guys are amazing and you deserve 10 Stars there's enough stars that I could give to show my appreciation YOU ROCK... 💯👏🤞💪🌹
Well I have been going to Algonac Action Auto Parts for over 25 years. It amazes me because I am truly Blessed. The Owner of Action Auto is a great guy. When I was at my lowest point in my life after my wife Cheryl passed away back in November of 2010 Bob offered me words of encouragement and gave me a card with money in it. Bob I will never forget your kind words and support that you gave me when I was at my lowest point in my life. Thank you Bob from the bottom of my heart. I have had at least a dozen vehicles worked on at this great facility. Jim, Ken and James have always come through for me. There have been times when I called them and asked them if they could please look at my vehicle and I cant tell you how appreciative I am because a lot of places wouldn't even talk to you on the phone. In closing I want to thank all of you for your outstanding customer service and dedication to your jobs and helping me for the last 25 years plus. May God Bless all of you and your entire families and the customers of this great establishment.

James in the back shop did me a real solid.
Ruined a tire pulling out my boat at the DNR kiddy corner to the shop on a Sunday evening. Left a note got a call first thing next day he changed to a temp tire and wheel so I could get to a bigger tire dealer to get it replaced. Awsome service in helping out a stranded customer away from home.
Too busy to make appointments, told me to leave my car and they'll put the 2 tires (that i already bought elsewhere) on within a few days. Whaaat? A few days to put 2 tires on? And to leave me without a car? Nonsense.
Took my car here by accident after 2 other shops told me I didn't need an alternator...
Needless to say I barley made it in there and told them the problem.
Left it there and within 5 days new alternator was installed at a great price !!
Would definitely recommend and use them in the future.

BEWARE OF THIS PLACE. Had my car fixed here. The only part not covered by warranty and was told I had to replace, had already failed in less than eight months. Told these guys, and they act clueless. Tell us to get the car towed there so they can see what's wrong, rather than take my word for it for a quick resolution. Despite not wanting to take the car there, we went ahead with calling the tow truck anyway hoping they'd get it taken care of. And while the tow truck was on it's way, they changed their minds, and said they can't fix it. Find someone else. In my opinion, they don't have any real mechanics working there. Trust me, go somewhere else.
I had a starter installed. When I went to pick up my vehicle, the vehicle I was driving hit something under this car, causing a covering to be hanging on by one screw. They removed the covering and would not accept money I had offered.
Took my car to THREE “mechanic” shops. Each wanted to tear apart my transmission and charge me an arm a leg and a major organ. I explained what my car was doing. He sold me a $20 part and explained how to fix it myself. Took me a few hours but saved me thousands. $$$ highly recommend this place.
Beware! Do not trust these guys with your car! Beyond their rudeness and horrible attitude they will mess up your car and try to cover it up as "not their fault". Something as simple as properly placing a jack was beyond them and when I informed him he was damaging the car he told me he "did this all the time". He then informed me I must be wrong about my tire losing air although it was noticeably deflating before our eyes. When I asked if he was serious and pointed out again that he was damaging the car with the jack the head mechanic sent a young girl out to tell me that I needed to go inside since I was bothering his mechanic. When I'd finally had enough and told them their carelessness and rudeness had damaged my car and lost them a customer they told me "we don't need you, we've got more business than we know what to do with." The two mechanics at this place are arogant and careless and should be avoided at all costs.
Ordered an oil filter on line and had it shipped to store. Employee called me to confirm order, Dave I believe, and was extremely rude. He told me I had to come in and pick up the filter the day it arrived in store or he would not order it. I ended up ordering a K and N filter on line. I live in Algonac and i will never and I mean NEVER set foot in this store as long as I live.
