This is the second time they have ripped me off. There will not be a third, you do not deserve my business. They tried to give me scrap iron price for aluminum. I did get a refund after Rifkin told me they would give me .56. But not for that price. Crooks.
Done business with Austin twice this year personally and referred to 3 or 4 other friends and all of us are happy with the experience. Professional and on time, kept thier word and did right by all of us. Definitely recommended the services!
I grew up with the Clinkston family and have a lot of great memories with Mark and Steve. I miss Mark. Mark and myself used to get a car at the scrapyard that still was no drivable and drive around and crash into scrap piles until the car wouldn’t drive anymore or the tires came off. Talk about being sore the nThey really made it into a business that succeeded. The new owners fixed it up, cleaned it up, but their prices are way too high, but it’s convenient to go there. I don’t see some of the old employees that worked there which is too bad because they were very helpful. Seems as though some of these people that work there don’t have a clue as to what’s going on, but I guess they will if they hold a job long enough so I just wanna thank the Clinkstons for building up a business through two generations and making alot of friends through the years. Take care Steve happy retirement maybe I’ll see you on the golf course. One of these days and let you win again.
They do not pay as well as other scrap yards,, I should've taken my stuff somewhere else.. Ever since they took over,, they went down hill.. I won't go there and if I was you I'd stop going there too.. I got ripped off..
some of the staff is outstanding and completely amazing we'll go out their way to help but others like today for example 10 minutes to close and warehouse won't answer their door won't take anybody If you're not there 15 minutes before closing and is not the first time. Should have it warehouse closes at 445 not 450 or 455. I do get getting out on time and there was not even a line.
The employees were very helpful and friendly. I was in and out with ease. Very competitive scrap prices takes me a long time to save up what scrap I do take in, but when I do they always make it worth my time.
Gino is always great to see, hes quick and efficient getting you in and out with ease.its hard to find great employees. Also Dwayne in the side entrance was great, helped me sort my metals and was fair on the prices. I have been coming here for years! Thank you!

Hello Ive been coming to clinkston and now padnos and the guys in the warehouse are awesome the one guy Dennis is always working hard and fast he has a great personality and great manners he needs a raise.
Great customer service!! We actually got more $ than we thought we would. Lee communicated with us well and made arrangements to help us with a crazy schedule outside of their operating hours. Definitely recommend!!
Had these guys come out twice for a total of 3 vehicles. The last 2 were the roughest, the tow truck driver went above and beyond. Helped keep me from tearing my yard up anymore and both vehicles got loaded quickly and safely. Would highly recommend them for junk car removal.

Actually gave more than I expected for what I was getting rid of. Very helpful. Would have given 5 stars, but I got my brand new white Nike's muddy...lol
The experience here was great. Friendly and very helpful people. No attitudes and they pay the top prices for your scraps. They even have Spanish speaking employees there which was even more helpful. Great folks in the office too. First time going to this location and I was in and out easy breezy. I highly recommend this place over all others in the area. Thanks again and Happy New Year! :-)
Horrible experience there! I got there at 3:45 (they close at 4:30) I unloaded my sheet and went to the back to unload the good metals and put my #1 copper on the scale and the fool told me he cant give me #1 because it had VERY LITTLE paint on it so I took it back to my truck for my buddy to scrap it off and grabbed some aluminum. I get right up to the garage door and he pushed the button an shut it right in my face!! So I went to the side door (locked) and hit the ringer, he yelled at me that they are closed! Yet it was 4:23 and there where still 4 ppl in the yard unloading sheet. Never will go back. It's worth going to JOE'S or Omnisource!!
If there was an option to give 0 stars I would. Horrible place to do business with they give you incorrect information over the phone and the only thing they can say is "sorry" and when you complain they treat you as if you did something wrong and tell you that your complaint won't get you anywhere. There are other places in Saginaw that will give you the same amount of money and will not treat you this way go to one of them.
