Don't believe anything bad you hear about Chuck's tire and Auto repair. Back in December we had two rear wheel bearings replaced they charged us $300 less than other shops wanted. Just recently we had a wheel bearing fail and they replaced both wheel bearings at no charge to us. Highly recommend if you're in this area and need help.
We've taken our vehicles to Chuck's for the past 3 years. Him and his crew have always fixed what we've needed and never anything we didn't. Prices are always fair.
I was charged $110 for a weld job that took an hour, if that. I was not able to have an itemized receipt because I was told “only repairs” get invoices… I was only able to receive a receipt that look like one from a gas station pump. He looked at me as if I were incompetent. Won’t be going back.
After a front end alignment I suspected there was still a problem with the alignment but after a free double check of the front end they found what the issue was. The front end alignment was good, in the green. My front left brake pad was dragging on the rotor causing the symptom I had the issue with. Root cause was a sticky rotor. Thank you Chucks Tire for doing that analysis for free.
Not very friendly... plugged a tire for us which we didn't come in for and didn't ask first. No recommendations on where we could get another tire from to fix our 1st issue.
My camper bearings, seals, and hub failed on a road trip through MI and the wheel was about ready to fall off. Someone waved us down to pull over, and it was smoking. I drove slowly to the next exit and hit the firehouse bar asking for help. They said try Chuck's Tire down the road, he could fix that. It was after hours so we left the camper in the parking lot at Chuck's Tire, dropped the key with a note, left them a voice message and crossed our fingers. We hit a hotel for the night.
I called next morning at 10am delighted to find out they've been working on it since 7:30am and they will call me when done. An hour later we got the call that it was fixed and we were on our way to pick it up.
Thank's Chuck's Tire for getting us back on the road, we made it home! Guy was super nice, got us in right away, explained the issue and showed us the messed up hub that was replaced. Go here in your time of need and rest easy!
We had 2 blowouts with tires on our motor home. While he didn't have the right tires in stock he got a hold of some a. Was a life saver.nd got me back on the road.
We had an emergency on our way up north. Our car was shaking and check engine light was blinking. They were understanding and excellent, getting us in right away. Our car was fixed in half an hour and we were back on the road. Thank you so much!
Our car over heated on the last leg of our 1600 mile vacation. We managed to get off the freeway and got it to Chuck. He was quick to diagnose the problem and was fair with the repair options.
My battery suddenly went dead I went to Chuck's tire to get a battery battery cost me $179 but he explained to me that I could find a battery cheaper from Walmart or AutoZone O'Reilly's but let them batteries don't last very long maybe a year or two so I bought an interstate battery 5-year life warranty
We had a screw in one of our tires. Chuck was very informative, helpful and helpful. And they made sure we had the correct tire after we were sent the wrong one. This is the second time we've been to Chuck's and got great service both times.
They were rude and unprofessional. They mounted and balanced my tires with the factory stickers on and then left the stickers on the tires. I will never do business with them again. I will never refer someone to them.
I showed up 15 minutes before closing, mind you I live in another town and was working in st helen. He wouldn't fix a flat that would have taken 10 mins 15 at max and told me to come back in the morning. Why say your open till 5 if you apparently quit working at 4
Can not say enough good about this place. Had blow out on Rt. 75 four hours into a 18 hour trip. Chucks was not only able to find me a tire and get me on the road in less then half hour but also spotted another problem tire. He didn't have a second replacement so he called other local shops and found me another tire. Absolutely amazing customer service from the minute I entered the door. I would recommend Chucks to anyone and can not thank them enough for making a difficult day a lot easier
