I ordered a door from them mad sure to let them know i wanted it to be in good condition. I talked to Steve who told me they did not have one available. A whole after we ended the call Steve called me and said he actually did have one and would be a few days out. I paid over 500 for this door and when i got it the condition was horrible. I called and told them it would need hundreds of dollars in repairs. I let them know i would not be able to use this door and send pictures of the damages, steve let us know there would be a restocking fee. Turns out the fee is over 200 on a part he sent me in bad condition after i specifically asked for it to be good condition. I understand i have to pay a fee but over 200 is absurd! Every time i try and call Steve avoids my call and nobody will talk to me to even have a conversation about it! Horrible customer service!
Got me a window regulator for my c6z06 for half the price some junkyards were asking for. (Discontinued part) and it works great and arrived pretty fast.
Great experience. Vince was very kind, helpful and called to let me know there would be a small delay in my front end parts.
I read a few bad reviews from this company and realized some customers you can never make happy no matter how hard you try! Very glad I called.

I was a little skeptical about ordering from an out of state company. Called spoke to Vincent. He talked/walked me through the entire process from beginning to end. Great customer service. Product arrived as scheduled and as pictured.
Called and ordered part I seen online arrived in a timely manner and everything was as the pictures made it seem. Did have questions on the product and Vincent was able to help me out swiftly. Would recommend.
Extremely disappointed with the customer service here. I was advised by Grand Valley Auto Parts to buy directly from the other salvage company and have the items shipped to them. I did as they said, but when the part arrived at their facility they said they had to charge me an additional fee of over $100 for having the part sent to their facility (even though I already paid for the part from the original salvage company). When I asked why this fee wasn't disclosed to me when I placed the order exactly as they had advised me to. After questioning him he said he'd make some calls, but never got back to me. After several attempts I finally got ahold of him and then he told me it didn't matter because the part was damaged in shipping and they sent it back to Georgia. When I called the salvage yard in Georgia they sent me a picture of the UNdamaged part that was being sent back to them; however, the part had not been sent back yet. When I called Grand Valley Auto Parts to question if I could come pick up the supposedly damaged part before they returned it, I was told they would look into it. After Grand Valley spent 4 days "talking to shipping department about it" they finally got back to me, but of course at that point the item had actually been sent back to Georgia. Needless to say I will never use this salvage yard again and I will be giving my business to Petes in Hudsonville.
Bought multiple engine/transmission packages from these guys via ebay. They have been great to deal with. They went above and beyond expectations to solve a problem that really was no fault of their own

Purchased almost an entire front end for my 05 corvette and they didn't provide all parts that were paid for in advance for thw after hours pickup. Then didn't answer calls when I called and trues to resolve the issue.
Do not purchase their motors or warranties. You will be rerouted and ignored when it comes time for them to resolve an issue. You will be directed to a person named Jamie. She will not return calls if you request a call. You will be lucky if she returns your emails. Other employees will work hard to get her to contact you but will refuse to give out a number to contact her. She will neglect correspondence and you will end up filing a claim with Ottawa County Courts instead of ever getting a simple resolution out her. Choose a reputable company like Weller Auto Parts or Pete's Auto Parts in Jenison!!
Don't bother coming here. Most of their parts are junk and they are big jerks about dealing with it. Bought warranty on a transmission and they refused to warranty the transmission because the extender piece had been cracked, made me waste time and gas going back and forth. Aside of that they held me off 2 days without calling me on the progression of the warranty. I decided to take my business elsewhere and take the problem into my own hands and took my transmission back and used it as core at a different location. Will not be returning to these people. I'll take my business to where they actually care about the customer . Zero starts if I could!.
I have bought from them several times. Always easy to deal with and don't usually have to wait too long. They have sourced parts from out of state several times with good results. When my steering column didn't have the right harness it wasn't an issue. They sent me a different one without any hassle at all. I will definitely continue to use this company.
I was extremely impressed with with their honesty professionalism. I contacted them to source two parts I’d been struggling to find. Steve from parts sales sent me pictures of the body panel and was completely honest about its condition. He even pointed out a very small defect that I had not noticed myself and probably wouldn’t have if he hadn’t informed me about it. They didn’t have the other part on hand that I needed, but unlike other places, GVAP was immensely helpful in checking their network of yards and ended up locating the part for me. Very happy with my experience doing business with them.
Spoke to Steve and had parts ordered for my Chevy Malibu, finally had confirmed parts were in after I had to call and check. Drove 2.5 hours one way to find that the insurance grade parts that were promised needed repair work and the wiring harness for the truck lid was cut under the panel. Both doors had damage on the bottom that I did not notice until installation, for the money I would have expected better and was promised better. Should have cut my losses when I saw the parts and turned around and came home, I will never be that in need of parts again unless they were willing to adjust the price better than the $75 discount I received. I would highly recommend calling around to the many other salvage yards in the area, I know I will next time.
I was a Bit nervous at first as they were very hard to get a hold of on the phone or though E Bay messages, But I must say the items were delivered on time and they were in the shape that Jordan and the eBay add said they were. I am very happy with my purchase and would definitely do business with them in the future. Items were well wrapped. 4 star is because of communication otherwise this would be a 5 star all day. I still need to check rims for straightness but I see no reason they won't be. Thanks again guys.
The people in grand valley auto parts are crooks they purchased a perfectly useable part from me and then FORCED! me to return their money. There was NOTHING wrong with my part, they just wanted my part AND their money

I purchased an LS3 w the TR6060 6-speed from Grand Valley early 2020 off an eBay listing that they had and was really impressed with them. This was my first engine to get through them and the experience was very positive. I had many questions about the drive train and they answered them all promptly to the best of their knowledge. They even included some extra parts off the donor car at no extra cost to me to help with my swap. When it got here, sooner than expected btw, it was packaged well. It took me almost until my warranty period ran out to start it for the 1st time since I was doing a swap into a different chassis but when I did, everything was in good working order. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase from them again. Communication and customer service is definitely A+ with Grand Valley!
I live about an hour north of Milwaukee and found a set of G8 rims i needed through the car parts app. It was about a 10 hour round trip to Jenison and back, but so worth it. These are great people to deal with. I wish they were closer so I could deal with them more. Thanks guys!!
NEVER PURCHASE FROM THESE CROOKS. I bought a pull-out LS3 with transmission from these guys and had it shipped to NC. First thing we notice is how shoddy the palette was and how dirty the engine is. We removed the plastic to find oil residue on the throttle body and open valve to look inside find over a cup of oil pooled on the front side of the intake. I immediately call their sales department and begin to explain that the engine is covered in sawdust and wood chips, presumably where they cut the skid boards right on top of the engine as well as the oil that's in the AIR INTAKE. Sales rep begins to spout none sense on how it's common to have oil in the intake my mechanic stops them right there and requests a BOL because this is not a good and tested engine as stated. I work with eBay to return the engine and request a refund and then all of a sudden, they find damage on the return and refuse to refund me the amount it cost to ship it back?!?!?!?
Truly one of the best salvage yards I have ever dealt with. Steve was exceptional when it came down to helping me out with a damaged part. I recommend this company 5 stars.

We bought an engine from this location. The office/sales staff answered questions professionally and were knowledgeable. The office was clean and appeared to be organized. The yard staff/mechanics, loaded it into our truck. The engine was put in by our mechanic with no problems. I would definitely buy auto parts from them again. Thank you for a great experience.
Drew was awesome. He helped me with replacement seats. He not only went out and inspected the entire set before i arrived but he was kind enough to call me back and go over the condition. I live three hours away, but the seats for my 2004 Excursion are very hard to find, so with Drew's reassuring words, I made the drive. I am glad I did! I am also very happy with the way he treated me in person. Looked me in the eyes and shook my hand. I know thats not a big deal, but nowawdays its huge. The leather seats are in great condition just as Drew said! Drew is doing a fantastic job and I highly recommend Grand valley Auto parts!

I came here with my husband for a bumper for my Jeep a little while back, and Steve was great. He didn't even mock me when I told him how my bumper got dented (I backed up into my house). He was very friendly, and listed all the state capitals which impressed me. Overall, I'll be coming here for my car parts in the future. Customer service at Grand Valley Auto Parts excellent. The representative I spoke with was named Steve and he was very professional and polite. They have great prices and great warranty I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good used quality part.
I ordered a transmission, it turned out to be incorrect, no problem, we didn't even unpackage it, sent it back. Well, "it came back without the torque converter" supposedly. Well, it turned into a he said she said and ultimately the customer takes it in the shorts and buys them a new torque converter because their employees don't make mistakes. Make sure you have everything covered especially your butt dealing with these people. I won't do business with them again.
Very knowledgeable staff. Very fast turnaround in terms of getting the parts that they don't have stocked or need to pull from other yards.
What sets these guys apart from other junk yards is that they actually have a wide variety of parts for all makes models, most junkyards only have those old dinky cars and the parts suck!

Horrible customer service! I paid 20% down for a part to be pulled which they said would be ready later that day. For the next four days, they continued to tell me it would be ready that day only to not have it ready. I finally got the call that the part was ready and it was the WRONG part. I messed around for almost a week just to end up without the part I paid for. These people are extremely unprofessional and will lie to you again and again.
