I was referred to Tommy @ Pete's from another yard, they had the part I was looking for at a reasonable price. They were easy to deal with. Communication was spot on and easy through the text feature. The part was pulled quickly, packed securely and efficiently, shipped and arrived in a timely manner (even though they were in the middle of a deep freeze). Had a little issue with a church van, Ford Transit 350. Pete’s was able to locate a good headlight and fender. Upon removal they informed me that the fender was damaged slightly and reduced the price for us. Great service and parts were exactly as presented. Installed and looks good. May grab a hood to make it look a little better.
I’ve been familiar with this junkyard since I was a kid, going there with my dad in the 70s and 80s. In the late 80s and 90s, I spent a lot of money here buying parts for my own vehicles. Unfortunately, that’s no longer the experience. Their business hours now end before most people even get off work, and it’s nearly impossible to get anyone to answer the phone.
Last year, when I tried to purchase an engine, they wouldn’t deliver it or stay open long enough for me to pick it up. They offered to leave it outside after hours, which isn’t realistic when you’re trying to pick up something as heavy as an engine. I had originally asked for the engine to be delivered to my workplace, which is a business, but they wouldn’t do that either.
Now I’m being told they don’t have parts that other places seem to carry without issue. Between the limited hours, lack of communication, and inflexibility, I’ve decided I won’t be doing business here anymore.
Really great response time. Very quick with pictures in detail details of parts. Everybody I talk to was very pleasant and welcoming. Feels like a Family atmosphere. I was very surprised to know that they had a 30 day return policy. The part I ordered was ready and clean and fit perfectly in my vehicle.
Ordered a rear hatch Glass and spoiler for my wife’s suburban, same day they had it available and even though I wasn’t able to make it during there business hours they set it out for me to pick up after work. Great experience with Tommy. Thanks for the great service and communication. Makes a rough morning/ day for me less stressful!!
I used to go through this junkyard when I was a little boy with my dad in the 70s and 80s. In the late eighties and nineties I spent a lot of money there getting parts for my own cars. Now their business hours closed before anybody else gets out of work and you can't get anybody to answer the phone. When I tried to get an engine from there last year they would not deliver or stay open for me to pick it up. They offered to set it outside after hours but seriously how am I going to pick up an engine. Now they're telling me they don't have parts that every other place has, and I guess I will not be patronizing this business anymore. In response to their response no nobody answers the phone, and originally I wanted the engine to be delivered to where I work, a business. But they wouldn't do that.
Dan and the gang over at Pete’s Auto Parts were a joy to work with. Purchased a part on hold until I could be back in town to receive delivery. Very accommodating and friendly people. Would highly recommend!
Good part and price but shouldn't have taken over 5 hours to pull it...I paid upfront and was told it would take a couple hours and actually had to pick the part up after regular business hours due their customer service being very good I didn't have to wait until the next day...in the future I hope they will be able to provide a more accurate timeframe so that one doesn't have to plan their day off work around waiting for a part that only took me an hour to install
James is the man! I had a very unique project to say the least, he was able to help source parts from several different vehicles to help me out. He was also able to track down some very specific parts for a different vehicle. Great customer service, highly recommend.

Needed a backup camera after mine broke about a year ago. Couldn’t find anything within a reasonable price range for OEM. I came across this place and they were very helpful on helping me find the exact camera I needed for a reasonable price. Shipping was quick and they all were very helpful and nice! Definitely coming back for more parts in the future!
Almondo was excellent to work with in locating a hard to find hood for my son’s car. He responded promptly to my texts and kept me posted on delivery. When there was a minor issue he took care of it. Great place to get auto parts. They are very detailed and professional. They take very clear & descriptive photos before shipping so you know exactly what you’re getting. Tommy is THE MAN. Not only do they have very fair prices, they also do an excellent job documenting the products they have in stock. I had to order a new motor and they even had a YouTube video of the motor running in the truck. Super impressed.
Then there was an issue with payments and I had given up trying to get it to work - Tommy stuck with it and made it happen.

Great customer service I work at a dealership and they went over the top to get part disassembled and shipped ups. So we could get vehicle delivered in time. Just want to note got part next day would recommend 100% and will definitely be ordering from them again and save in my favorites
I went to Pete’s with my dad in the fifties. Still going now. I needed a hood for a 2003 Focus. They found me a good replacement at a great price. Pete’s Auto has always been Five Stars. To old Jenison dudes like me Pete’s is definitely a Jenison/Hudsonville landmark. Five Star Landmark.
Needed a rim for my civic. Called all over With no luck. Ended up calling Pete’s and am glad I did. Ended up saving me money and didn’t have to Wait for shipping. I would happily spend my Money there again.
I wanted to provide a good review and my personal recommendation for Pete's Auto Parts. I have been very highly pleased with the service they have have provided me. They treated me like they are running a service business rather than just a retail outlet, and made me feel like I was a valued customer, rather than just another customer needing help with a tough problem. I needed a hard-to-find suspension part for my 2005 Ford E-150 van. I spent several days on the computer and the phone just trying to locate this part. One CarPart outfit actually charged my credit card and never sent me a part. (I'm still trying to get that resolved.) And after waiting over a month for delivery, I still needed the part. Then I found Pete's... I texted them, and immediately received a reply saying 'a real person would be contacting me shortly'. Amy called, and that very day, she found me the part that I needed, from an out-of-state source. She had the part shipped to Pete's, but it didn't meet Pete's QC standards, due to excessive rust. Although she offered me a refund, I still needed the part so I didn't have to scrap my 2005 White Wonder! She found me another part within a few days and had it shipped to Pete's. She must have had QC look at it that same day, and once she was sure this was an acceptable part, I received it within a day or two. I waited until my mechanic installed the part and made sure it fit, before I wrote this review. I am happy to tell you my van is back on the road and not on the scrap heap! I didn't know it at the time, but I should have started my search with Pete's! I'm going to recommend Pete's Auto Parts to my mechanic, and I would recommend Pete's to anybody needing a hard-to-find part. Pete's Auto Parts in Jenison has been one of my go-to places for really nice replacement parts and accessories for a lot of my rebuilds over the years.I recently purchased a replacement center console for my 2011 F150 Platinum pickup. Their prices are very competitive, saving me over $100 over my local yard, who would have purchased it from Pete's and having it delivered,selling it as their own. Definitely worth the 3-hr round trip...just had to wait a day to have it pulled, easy online payment.
