Took my car in for oil change and tire rotation, very fast and efficient. They gave me a very detailed description of possible future maintenance with photos attached, very appreciative of that! Friendly staff also!
Mazur’s exceeded expectations. People are friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. Communication was excellent throughout the process and for a bonus they had free loaner cars. I would definitely go back again.
UPDATE FROM AN OLDER REVIEW: Mazur's continues to knock it out of the park, setting the high bar for customer service. Howard and Dave continue to be fantastic to work with, and they make us feel like family. In addition to routine maintenance since my last review, we have had rodent activity in the engine compartment, causing fuel and electrical issues. Please call them if you have automotive issues; you will not be disappointed.
OLDER REVIEW: We have used Mazur's several times, for a variety of services. This time some shrapnel in the tire. What a nuisance, right? Well, we happened to purchase those tires from them, so the repair was handled for free. What a nice little surprise, especially this time of the year. Just wanted to commend Mazurs for the incredible job they did for me and fixing my car to be safe and running strong for a long distance trip. Have had over $5000 worth of work done by this shop over the years. Never had a problem with the work they’ve done. Prices are on the high end. The free rides home are very convenient.
However, on my most recent visit there, I asked a simple and honest question about pricing and received an unnecessarily sarcastic and dismissive answer. Going forward, I’ll avoid Mazur unless I have no other choice.
Also, guys, in the waiting room, what’s with the plants, plush sofas, and Ellen reruns on the TV? Are you running a garage or a day spa?
10/23/25 update: Joe, you were right next to the man who said it, when he said it, so you missed your opportunity to fix it. My question was not unreasonable. Privately I get a smart aleck answer. Publicly, on Google maps, you act sensitive and caring.

I have to say I was Leary they were recommended by my neighbor and I was already disputing at an other garage. I brought my car in to get an estimate and I was blunt on letting them know that because I’m old I will not tolerate being taken advantage of, I don’t think there use to someone like me but I will say they were very professional he called with the problem and the cost so I gave them the ok to fix it still being Leary but I have to say they did a great job they fixed what they said was wrong, I am very pleased with the work and the professionalism they showed with handling a difficult customer lol me, I do highly recommend them and I will bring my car back for any future problems. My car had a part that broke and was really hard to find. They searched all over and had gotten 4 different parts that were supposed to work but were wrong. They did find the correct part for my car. I am so happy that I didn’t try to fix it my self. They do a GREAT JOB and are VERY KIND. I’ve always been happy with them. I recommend them for you and your car.
We use Mazur’s for all of our vehicles. We recently bought a used car and brought it straight to Mazur’s. I handed it over to Troy, who knows all of our vehicles well, and Matt looked over everything carefully and fixed everything we needed and wanted fixed. It’s running great now. The whole crew there can be trusted to fix what needs to be fixed, and to fix it well.

Had two of my cars serviced by Mazur of South Lyon in the past month. The whole team did a great job, but Howard stands out as truly outstanding to work with. I had some deferred maintenance to do on a classic car, but only had so much budget. Howard helped me sort out which of the items were most critical. That gave me a lot of confidence in his honesty and expertise, as well as the confidence to feel comfortable driving the car this summer. Great place to do business.
Howard and his team are a dedicated group. I've been in and out of the shop there with a repetitive issue as they properly diagnose the problem. Their honesty has won me over and I will not go anywhere else. And who doesnt like a free loaner car?

I appreciate the on line scheduling. Everyone is very professional and the services offered are top notch, quick and everything is explained is ways that are easy to understand. The waiting area is clean, comfortable, smells nice. I honestly almost fell asleep. And as mentioned before there is water, coffee and snacks.
I brought my 2001 chevy truck to Mazur’s in Howell to have engine problems repaired. I had the truck at other shops and they failed to repair the problem. Mazur’s had the truck running good in two days. I recommend Mazur’s for automotive repairs anytime. I will be a returning customer.
Great place to get your car fixed. They are very professional and easy to work with. All service that I have had, has been great. Timing and cost are fair. I have sent friends to them and they were happy with the service.
Only more problems with the vehicle after bringing it here. Then when it was brought back 1 months later, they charged another $700 just to look at the car and give the recommendation to "turn it in to the dealer and get a new car ASAP" which shows the integrity of the people working on your vehicle. Beware unless you have money to donate to incompetence.
I have been having my car serviced at Mazur's since moving into the area.4 years ago. I have been very satisfied with their service. In addition to the scheduled service they have gone above and beyond. They are very obliging and friendly. I highly recommend them as honestly providing excellent service. They offer a ride or a loaner car if needed. This is a necessary option for me occasionally. I highly recommend Mazur's.

Everything was great! No pushy upgrade. Offered to fix exactly what was wrong. I asked about bringing the car up to proper maintenance schedule and received an item by item list I could pick and choose from with prices. Front staff was kind and professional. Mazur's is the best!!

I took my car to Mazur’s because they had a very generous oil change coupon. I had only expected an oil change but they did a very thorough check of my car and, as a 2017 Ford Explorer with just over 100,000 miles, and with a number of routine maintenance type services up-to-date, they found a number of critical-type things that needed to be addressed. I made an appointment for the services and they were all completed in one day. I had been noticing some hesitation in my transmission for a while and a Ford dealer in Florida thought it was a torque converter issue. Howard suggested the car might only need to have a transmission flush, which was performed. I have not experienced the hesitation since. I definitely recommend Mazur’s for automotive work. Howard was especially good to work with.
My car was in need a of little TLC. Mazur's not only walked through everything it needed but also provided a quote in writing as well. The work was done quickly and my car is back on the road running smoothly. Shout out to Dave who was patient and caring of an old lady with a lot if questions. I will go back to Mazur's when I need service again. I would also recommend them to anyone that needs fast and honest service.
My dad was a mechanic for 20+ years, so I rarely need to go to the shop for work. But I took a chance in Mazur’s in South Lyon and they have a customer for life. Fantastic customer service; excellent communication, and follow-up months afterward to ensure that everything is operating correctly. Incredibly efficient, I got my sway bars replaced overnight after a 2-minute phone call, dropped my car off around 6:00 PM and by 9:00 AM they were completed and my car was ready for pickup. Moreover, I drive a Volvo, and over the years I have heard mechanic after mechanic moan and whine about fixing my car, which I understand, but Mazur’s didn’t say a single thing. These guys are awesome, and they deserve all the 5-star reviews they have.
My husband has been bringing our vehicles in for the last year or so and has been very happy with their service. I had a chance to bring in my car a few days ago and feel the same. The staff is professional and friendly, the facility is clean and offers water, coffee and snacks if you are waiting. And of course, the service is top notch. The job gets done quickly and we especially appreciate that there are none of the dreaded "up-sell" pressures that often come when seeking automotive services. This has been the best place I've ever taken a car to be repaired . Everyone was so nice and the place is super convenient . They drove me home and had my car done in one day. Everything was explained and understood and they back their repairs with a warranty . Great job !!!
