Just wanted to commend Mazurs for the incredible job they did for me and fixing my car to be safe and running strong for a long distance trip. Howard and crew made sure I was all set to go within a day of requesting service. I only trusted this company with my car for the last seven years. Have had over $5000 worth of work done by this shop over the years. Never had a problem with the work they’ve done. Prices are on the high end. The free rides home are very convenient.
However, on my most recent visit there, I asked a simple and honest question about pricing and received an unnecessarily sarcastic and dismissive answer. Going forward, I’ll avoid Mazur unless I have no other choice.
Also, guys, in the waiting room, what’s with the plants, plush sofas, and Ellen reruns on the TV? Are you running a garage or a day spa?
10/23/25 update: Joe, you were right next to the man who said it, when he said it, so you missed your opportunity to fix it. My question was not unreasonable. Privately I get a smart aleck answer. Publicly, on Google maps, you act sensitive and caring.
Howard and his guys are fantastic!! Friendly, knowledgeable and courteous. They are all about the customer and providing excellent, timely service of value for your vehicle. Up front and honest in their communication. Grateful for the go to place.

I have to say I was Leary they were recommended by my neighbor and I was already disputing at an other garage. I brought my car in to get an estimate and I was blunt on letting them know that because I’m old I will not tolerate being taken advantage of, I don’t think there use to someone like me but I will say they were very professional he called with the problem and the cost so I gave them the ok to fix it still being Leary but I have to say they did a great job they fixed what they said was wrong, I am very pleased with the work and the professionalism they showed with handling a difficult customer lol me, I do highly recommend them and I will bring my car back for any future problems. Sorry guys for my attitude u did a great job. Thank you
My car had a part that broke and was really hard to find. They searched all over and had gotten 4 different parts that were supposed to work but were wrong. They did find the correct part for my car. I am so happy that I didn’t try to fix it my self. They do a GREAT JOB and are VERY KIND. I’ve always been happy with them. I recommend them for you and your car.
I think they did a great job the 1st time.
Took a second vehicle here and was very disappointed. I would not recommend unless your very old and getting just an oil change.
We use Mazur’s for all of our vehicles. We recently bought a used car and brought it straight to Mazur’s. I handed it over to Troy, who knows all of our vehicles well, and Matt looked over everything carefully and fixed everything we needed and wanted fixed. It’s running great now. The whole crew there can be trusted to fix what needs to be fixed, and to fix it well.

Had two of my cars serviced by Mazur of South Lyon in the past month. The whole team did a great job, but Howard stands out as truly outstanding to work with. I had some deferred maintenance to do on a classic car, but only had so much budget. Howard helped me sort out which of the items were most critical. That gave me a lot of confidence in his honesty and expertise, as well as the confidence to feel comfortable driving the car this summer. Great place to do business.
Howard and his team are a dedicated group. I've been in and out of the shop there with a repetitive issue as they properly diagnose the problem. Their honesty has won me over and I will not go anywhere else. And who doesnt like a free loaner car?

The waiting area is clean, comfortable, smells nice. I honestly almost fell asleep. And as mentioned before there is water, coffee and snacks.
I brought my 2001 chevy truck to Mazur’s in Howell to have engine problems repaired. I had the truck at other shops and they failed to repair the problem.
Mazur’s had the truck running good in two days.

Very honest people and work. Were upfront that the alignment they completed did not look like it did anything or work, so they did not charge me. That made them earn me as a cust for many other things!
Once again, the guys came through, and not only fixed what I broke…but honored their warranty and were 100% pros about it. It certainly wasn’t a straight forward diagnosis. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

My first time here after moving to South Lyon. Very please with service and efficiency. Clerk communicated very well and let me know recommendations and prices before hand. Comfortable waiting area.
Only more problems with the vehicle after bringing it here. Then when it was brought back 1 months later, they charged another $700 just to look at the car and give the recommendation to "turn it in to the dealer and get a new car ASAP" which shows the integrity of the people working on your vehicle. Beware unless you have money to donate to incompetence.
First Time at Mazur’s. Very impressed with the whole Operation.. Dave was great at explaining what need to be done and estimates seem very fair. It’s great to find a place that met and exceeded my expectations. I will be back.

I had a check engine light on I’d been neglecting. Mazur’s took care of it quickly and professionally. They addressed all my concerns with care. They had pictures to show me the problem areas that were fixed. The light came on again and they were thorough about clearing the codes. They took the extra steps to take care of it and I really appreciate it!
