Very unprofessional and not very knowledgeable. Takes three employees to do a single battery replacement on a pretty simple watch. They have no problem accepting your money and telling you they can do the job, but after about 30 minutes of failed attempts to successfully restart the watch after the battery replacement they will tell you that it’s too “fancy” of a watch that they work on. Mind you this is a pretty simple $200 Wenger Swiss military watch bought from Costco lol. Bad business practice from these clowns. Also if you want this done in a practical amount of time, I would skip this location. They’ll lose screws/hardware and spend twenty minutes trying to find it, not ending up finding it and replacing it with a different screw that’s not from the same manufacturer. Pretty lazy. Then they say they don’t like your attitude after dealing with three grown men trying to replace a battery for much longer then it should take one person to replace a watch battery. Come on guys, this isn’t rocket science. Doesn’t take a lot of brains to get on Google and figure some things out. So in summary, if you like wasting your time, dealing with incompetent, and witnessing terrible customer service first hand , this place is perfect for you!

I came in for a battery for my trolling motor. Julie was incredible! I was firing questions at her boom boom boom one after the other, she had more answers than I had questions! This is the place to get any and every battery you could need, not to mention advice.
My key fob stopped working. Turns out the battery holder was damaged. They fixed it and did not charge me anything for labor. The next day I went there to replace the Auxiliary Battery in my car. Charged me only $15 for the installation. Highly recommend this place! Worth checking this place out if you need any assistance with battery related issues.
This place is great, from their extremely knowledgable service desk to their stock supply of thousands of batteries. If you need anything battery related (including power tools and toys), this is THE place to go.

Brought my wife's car in to have the battery checked since we had to jump start it couple of times yesterday. They confirmed that the battery was the issue and also mentioned that the auxilliary battery is typically changed at the same time. It's a Mercedes and not easily serviceable. Scott spent over an hour getting the batteries out and installing the 2 new ones. It was also less expensive than taking it to a dealer. I have used this place before and will continue to use them for any battery issues.
The service and staff here is FANTASTIC. I was having an issue with my Grandsons Power Wheel Jeep and had replaced a couple of parts that I suspected were at fault that unfortunately did not address my issue. I was referred to Battery Giant by Power Wheels. I took in the battery which was making a clicking sound. I was assisted by Scott who was UNBELIEVABLE. He took a genuine interest in my issue and took me to a demo area of the store where we discussed possible issues with my particular vehicle. Most people and companies would simply tell you to bring it in and they diagnose it and then fix it. This would have been fine and what most customers would expect but Scott went well beyond expectations. Scott volunteered to test the battery I brought in even though I had explained that I thought the voltage was in spec. He ran a test on the battery and diagnosed the problem I was having all along with the Power Wheel Jeep. It was the battery that was defective and not producing the amperage required to power the vehicle. The battery I needed was unique and fairly uncommon. They had the part in stock which I purchased. The price was was great and a steel when you consider the fantastic service. THANK YOU SCOTT AND BATTERY GIANT.
Purchased 2 car batteries here, within 1 year of the other. The cost for a good battery seemed reasonable, however due to the pandemic the vehicle was not driven more than a couple times a week. Each battery failed inside of 1 year. Warranty honored? Nope. Instead owner? said he would not charge the $15 install fee :0 hmmm. This is with extra purchase of trickle charging items- from them.
When moved to a new location, trickle charging was not an option. Then needed a 3rd! new battery within 3 years- would not purchase car battery from here again. Won't be returning.
Update after response; The experience remains: 3 batteries needed in 3 years- there are other batteries that last longer with similar use, all of the details provided don't change the customer experience. It's nice that free charging is offered ;)
Get all all types of batteries here, the people in this store are very knowledgeable about all their products, prices are very reasonable and they are always ready to serve you. If you’re looking for an average battery store, DO NO GO HERE! These folks are WAY above average

Took us for $66 on a lawn tractor battery...
took it up north the next Sunday and it failed to start the John Deere. We showed them a foto of the old one and the woman ACTED like she knew what she was doing...
When we finally got the tractor repaired, the shop said it was the WRONG size / kind of battery...!!!
The other guy in the shop sez it's out of charge and he'll call when its charged up.... makes me wonder if they really had a charge on it when we left the store last time... All it did was make a clicking noise three times when we tried to start the tractor with THEIR battery.
DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS CLOWNSHOW....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I only turned the key like 4 or 5 times...!!!
I stopped before I could DRAIN the battery....
BUT it was the WRONG size and was drained almost immediately.
I would give 0 stars if I could. I just called for a lawn mower battery. The young lady that answered was very rude. I exolained to her the type of battery I needed and she said bring it in and we can dispose of it, I explained we no longer had it but I have the model number to the lawn mower and a part number given to me by Ariens. I told her I had the manual as well. She asked me the model number at least twice. Then asked me if I had the manual, even though I had told her I did. I gave her the model number and also the part number. She became very rude and said, well if we find it we will call you if we don't then we won't. Um .... ok then. Ten minutes later she called telling me I had given her the incorrect model number and I made her waste her time. I explained I had given her the correct number. She became angry and said no you did not! I asked to speak to the manager and she hung up on me. Not a business I would want to do business with!!
I've purchased many batteries here. I won't be back since you threatened to call the tow trucks on the picketers from across the street from the hospitals, When the parking lot is large enough to accommodate plus its not up to you as a renter to call, its up to to your landlord.
Cant recommend them enough. Sunday service plus plug retrofit. Home Security system specialised off grid backup battery. Friendly, personable, knowledgeable and technically adept.
One of the few stores where the associates are knowledgeable, and thus are able to provide value-added feedback / advice.
They do not only replace the battery, but also clean the watch and lubricate the gasket, which is far more important than a fancy, unnecessary pressure check.

The products, technical staff, and customer service at Battery Giant Rochester Hills are top notch. I would give 10 stars if it were possible. They upgraded my club car golf cart from lead acid batteries to Trojan lithium and modified the charger to be compatible with the new battery pack. The conversion shed 300 pounds of weight and added about 4x distance, plus no more maintenance and no more corrosion. No worries anymore about the cart dying during 18 holes.
I came in today with a mild sense of panic to find a cable for my TI-84 Plus for my Statistics exam, as my home has recently been packed and my life is in storage. Paul and the team at Battery Giant were able to locate a very rare cable and it worked perfectly. I'm very grateful.
I also usually come here to buy/recycle my rechargeable batteries. Learned today that alkaline batteries can be thrown away in the trash. As a renewable energy engineer, I never would have known this! Ya learn something new everyday!
Wow this store is amazing, they have a battery for pretty much anything and so many different sizes of solar panels, dc-ac inverters, solar connectors and cables and do much more... Very happy that I stopped by. Friendly service too!
Had a great experience. An employee helped me find a battery for an older cellphone. She installed the battery for me and had a few tips on making the most of it.
I brought my computer in for keyboard replacement... I was told it would be about a week... 6 weeks later they said it was ready. I went to pick it up to find it had been done completely incorrect, They put on a European keyboard which sat below the surface of the palm rest and when you would press the keys, they sunk so far into the board it was impossible to type... I left it with them as I’ve already paid $150 at this point.. another month goes by and they say it’s ready.. I pick it up this time and not only are the keys below the palm rest but when you press any of them, they all stick! I was told that one shift key was sticky.. No, They were all now sticking.. I was issued a refund but the damage had already been done . I was able to take it to a computer repair place in Shelby where a nice gentleman was able to fix it the best he could.. He had to remove double sided tape.. Yes, Tape from under the keyboard and on top where the keys sit on the palm rest, which was what the keys were sticking too when pressed . he then soldered and epoxyed everything in place.. he said he never seen such a meticulously done bad job. The gentleman in the store could work on their crassness... it’s not very professional to refer to a female employee as “the computer chic” I wouldn’t even return to this place for a battery, there are plenty of options.
Nice guy but he handed me the wrong size watch batteries after I provided him the written sizes I needed. I had a 16 mile round trip to exchange them and never got an apology out of him. He laughed it off with an 'oh well' attitude. Not very professional for a "business man". I'll never go back.
I went in to get my key fob battery changed and I was pleasantly surprised! Paul was very nice and helped me out. Everyone there was really nice and the store was very clean and organized. He even told me about the $99 Tune up for my dying laptop. Great Place!

I was in a dilemma while decorating a park for the most beautiful wedding I’ve ever done. The bride really wanted LEF lights around a particular tree. However, there was no electricity available in the area.
Therefore, the bride conceded and gave up her dream for the lights.
My sister and I wanted to fulfill her dream. I came up with the idea of finding a quiet generator. Too expensive. I needed to call a battery store for help.
Battery Giant patiently listened to my dilemma. Asked questions about the lights we were using. Once I was able to answer the questions (took 2 days for me to know answers) we immediately had a solution!
I went in the store and made my purchase. Oh, I also received training on how to use the battery and inverter too!

The people in this store have always been good to me. They warned me that it might not be possible too swap out an Android battery a few years ago, but did try. They also are great about odd size batteries, such as those for dog collars.
They seem to be struggling a bit due to the construction on Livernois. All I can say is that I find them worth the detour(s).
I was there because I needed some soldering done on some batteries for a competition and for some fuses and they were very helpful. We won! Paul really came through and they were very friendly. A+!
I brought them a fully functional battery pack and requested a cell upgrade. They turned the whole pack into an unusable lump of plastic and chemicals and made me pay for the labor. Don't get burned like I did. DO NOT PAY THESE PEOPLE UNTIL THEY HAVE FINISHED THE JOB CORRECTLY.
