They were great! After being turned away from St Clair Shores refusing to install a battery claiming they were short handed. I also called Roseville auto zone and they informed me they couldnt install with the same excuse. After taking my services to rochester hills, they apologized for the inconvenience but told me I should not have been turned away!
What a wonderful experience at Autozone last night. On the way to Rochester, my brake bulb went out. I decided to stop at this store on the way back home to Sterling Heights. I was planning to install the light myself after I got home, but the manager offered to do it for me. I also had some license plate bulbs out too. The Autozone I usually go to in Clinton Twp was never this friendly or offered this service. I had no idea, they did all that. I will definitely be back and recommend anyone needing help with auto parts, or help putting in bulbs, batteries, windshield wipers or more. Head to this location!!
My rear turn signal light was burnt out and Jerald quickly and easily swapped out the bulb for me right there in the parking lot. He was very helpful and I will definitely be back to that location if I ever need anything else for my vehicle.
Jerald was very helpful, greeted me immediately when I walked in and helped me not only find the correct windshield wipers, but he also put them on for me. Incredibly helpful, kind, and easy going to talk to.

My mother-in-law and I went into the Auto Zone in Rochester, Michigan today to get a rear wiper blade for her car and we had a wonderful experience. Jerald was very peasant and helpful. He took the old blade off and installed the new blade. I highly recommend this store for all you auto needs!! They are the best.
Sam was wonderful. My car battery died and not only was he able to tell exactly what battery it needed just by looking at it, he was able to install it with efficiency and quickness.
I have always had great experiences with the AutoZone on East Auburn rd in Rochester hills. The store is clean organized and staffed with friendly, helpful and knowledgeable employees. But today I had the pleasure of working with the Manager Sam, who went above and beyond to assist with an issue I was having with my vehicle. Sam’s understanding of what I needed rectified the issue I was having, and he did this with ease, friendliness, and speed. I will remain a loyal AutoZone customer….many thanks again Sam!!!!!!
This was my first visit to an AutoZone store, and I came in to buy a pair of wiper blades for my car. I was greeted by the staff at the counter, and after I told him the year and make of my vehicle, he quickly looked up the compatible wipers in the system. The entire process took just a few minutes and went smoothly. I highly recommend this place.
Bait and switch purchasing process. Order for pick up and pay only to go to this East Ridge Road location and be told half of my order wasn't in the store. So I want half? No. Don't buy on the website and expect these clowns to have it in the store.
The Guys are Auto Zone are really helpful, don’t get me wrong. But If you post a price on an item and display it, then you should honor the price. Had a bad experience, where I am trying to buy a battery charger for the my vehicle. The shop ended up offering discount curtesy :( While I ended buying from them for the 2nd time. Incorrect price arranged perfectly in order? So excuse me for asking you to honor your display prices.

My mom had gone in and got some wiper blades. When she returned home with her car I checked the results of how they worked and they were not clearing the windshield well. I called up the store and they said to bring it back up. Well Josh and Brennon did and amazing job make adjustments to the wiper so it would make full contact with the windshield and work to perfection. It took a little bit of time, but they were super positive and professional the whole time. They continue to earn my business and referrals to friends. Keep up the great job. Thanks.
I really like this location. Recently when I needed parts for a brake job on my Ram, they had what I needed and when I found I needed additional parts they were able to order and get for me the next day. Friendly and helpful staff here. Store well stocked and, in the event they do not have your part, they are pretty quick to get it ordered and in most cases to you within a day. Thanks.
I had a headlight go out on Christmas Day. I originally went to a competitor who advertises free headlight bulb installation with purchase. After purchasing the bulb, I was told they would not be able to help me. I called several places to no avail, and landed on AutoZone. Josh was friendly and helpful from the moment he answered the phone. He was able to install my new bulb surprisingly quickly considering how complicated it was to get to the headlamp. I cannot say enough positive things about Josh. He is kind, helpful and knowledgeable. He saved me from having to drop my car off at a shop and miss work. I am so grateful for his help today.
Went in just to look around and walked out with a few things and a pleasant experience. Very awesome gentleman Nick was. Had a rough week traveling for work so I picked up a few things on the company card . Amazing customer service and very helpful with some great ideas and nice to receive feedback. Mike was AMAZING! He was incredibly patient with me on the phone and in person as he figured out what I needed. I thought I was going to be spending hundreds of dollars and he took the time to recheck my batteries all to find out I didn’t need a new one! Great service by Drew the manager at this location. Above and beyond, ordered non stock item, set up pick up at other store, checked the engine light, guided in right direction, changed the light bulb for me as well. 10/10 . My to go store for all auto needs.
Mark was awesome! My battery died at work the previous night and I had to purchase a new battery. I cringe when I have to repair anything on my car because I’ve had bad experiences. Mark answered my call prior to arriving and answered my questions. He was very professional and helpful. He let me know my options and was very understanding. When I arrived at the store he remembered our conversation and was able to help me install the new battery. (Which wasn’t easy because there was a lot of corrosion on the existing battery. He was patient and scraped the corrosion off without ruining the wire.) I can’t thank him enough for his kindness. Thanks, Mark!
I've been working on cars and buying auto parts half my life. Auto Zone has always been one of my "go to" places. Sure, there are other auto part store chains, and I frequent those as well. Normally there's not a huge difference in price or stock between them, so it usually comes down to convenience. Recently I needed an alternator and sent my daughter to pick it up for me. The following day when I went to install it, it turns out she bought the wrong one. I went to return it but she misplaced the receipt and gave an incorrect phone number when purchasing it. Long story short, they refused to return it even though it was never installed, in original box and an item they currently carry. Well that was $180 worth of reason to now shop directly across the street at a competitors store. It's troubling that there is not a policy in place that can remedy this situation as I'm sure it happens at least semi-regularly. In their defense, the girl behind the counter did try several ways to figure out a refund and was as helpful as she could be but her hands were tied. Unfortunately the situation left a bad taste in my mouth, and I feel rightfully so. On a different note, it also seems as thou there are some stocking issues as well. I know alot of places are understaffed currently so perhaps that might be a contributing factor. With that said, If your not returning something without a receipt, you'll probably be happy shopping here, probably.
