I recently had to have an Alternator replaced on my F-150 , at a local garage in Pontiac, Michigan. The associate at O'Reilly's Auto parts was a God sent. While the garage was closed for the weekend I was able too price the afore mentioned Alternator. And was able too call the garage on Monday morning and let them know which part I wanted as the replacement. I had my truck back before Lunchtime on Monday of last week. It was great seeing how fast O'REILLY'S came to the rescue with the Correct part. 5 Star's for O'REILLY'S Auto Parts.

I had a fantastic experience at this O’Reilly’s thanks to Ian & Hunter, who went above and beyond to replace my car battery late this evening. Despite my old battery having rusted bolts and taking much longer to remove, they worked patiently and skillfully until closing time. Both Ian and Hunter were incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and determined to get the job done right. And they did! I’m so grateful for their excellent service and dedication—thank you both so much!

2 store employees that would not leave the desk to answer any questions re: types of oil for my car. When I brought oil over to them, they didn't have a clue on oil differences or types. They were too interested in the door traffic.

Very nice gentlemen working rhe counter, assisted me in the things I needed foe my jeep. I felt stupid being here and was so thankful they could explain items for me! Thank you! Well managed, clean and organized!

This place has been great. I've been working on a older car and go here almost every day. My only complaint is they see to be a tad pricy.

Used oil Tank is ALWAYS full every time I come here. Their website indicates that they recycle used parts like used oil filters and used spark plugs. The guy at the counter just told me to throw them in the garbage.

Great service from Phillip today! Pretty knowledgeable, friendly and he genuinely wanted to help me with all my issues during my visit. A++++ There was a lot of team work at the front desk while helping customers during my visit and it was great to see! Will return and highly recommend this location!!

Can the parts counter do their due diligence when ordering, looking up parts. In the past 18 months, I have been given the wrong water pump Rotors, and now sway bar links, I even had them double check and they were still wrong. Its not fun taking things apart 2 or more times to fix a vehicle. Get with it.

The services provided were phenomenal. I came in with a problem with my windshield wiper and they took time to help me and make sure everything worked properly. 10/10 recommend!

I needed a new car battery and windshield wipers. I went in with my husband, and Matt was the gentleman who helped us. He spoke to me directly, answered all of our questions and gave us genuine advice on what would be best for my car. I'm very thankful Matt was so kind and informative.

I love this store! They helped me put on my wipers I purchased when I came back. The lady manager was there by herself and said if I wanted to wait or come back someone would help. I went to Gordon’s because I had some things to get and then went back and the guy that came back from a delivery helped put my wipers on. Reading some of the reviews I was skeptical to go here but they were great! Another example of you shouldn’t believe everything you read. Customers are ignorant sometimes and I’ve seen it. They get rude and expect you to still help them. I work in customer service and that’s not how it works. You get what you put out in the universe. People should understand that. Thank you guys for helping me! I will be back for sure!!

Ben was courteous and really professional. I am not great with auto repair/accessories, so he really educated me in a short time. Really appreciate people like you bud!

The laziest employees in town, they are never helpful and always full of excuses for why they can’t help. Asked if they could check my car battery to make sure it was in good working order (5min job), I was given the testing instruments and was told to go check it myself. Every time I come in, it’s a new story and a different excuse, rarely ever a positive experience.

I went in to get a new battery for my vehicle. The lady who was working there did not seem to care about paying customers. She told me they would not be able to replace the battery because its located next to a fuse box and i have to take it into the dealership or an auto repair shop. She also mentioned she used to work at AutoZone and she knows they wouldn't change it either. well 10 mins later I was at AutoZone and they took care of it.

I visited this store today and the young lady (didn't see her name on her shirt) & a male Ruger was having a conversation as I walked to the counter. RUGER was very rude and wasn't helpful. He told me where the part maybe and continued his conversation. He didn't offer to help. I walked out without finding what I went in to the store to purchase. This is one of the pricey auto stores in the area and now they have rude employees. It's not worth the drive to this location

Asked about some brake springs yesterday for my Camaro. The counter dude just stared at me like I was from Mars. He finally said if they have any they were in isle 4. Of course they weren't. I went to the store on Auburn Rd and they took the time to help me. Parts were on a shelf behind the counter. The Auburn store is about to get 5 stars.

Not exactly sure if this was a joke or not but I needed coolant for my car, a Ford Focus ST. I preferred Motorcraft but that didn't particularly matter since we never made it past the engine choice in the computer. The Focus has a 2L turbo motor and the gentleman at the counter was insisting it was either a 3L or 1.5L. I made sure, several times that it was not the Fusion or the Fiesta that he was searching since those engine displacements are common in those cars. I even looked up the engine code and that didn't change anything. I work on cars in my free time so I'm not clueless, especially when it comes to just knowing the motor size. So after 5 minutes of back and forth I just left. Someone who is working on a vehicle relies on them for product choices and incorrect products in the wrong engine can cause thousands in repairs. I would not recommend this place.

I would like to start by saying this store has gone out of their way to help me sooo many times! I will forever be a shopper here! The store manager is awesome. She makes sure I have what I need before I leave the store and if she isn’t there I deal with Amanda who has also been a great help. The next thing I want to do is to address one of the comments. I wasn’t going to write a review until I saw this I was only going to leave 5 stars. But this is for a Mr William Norton’s comment about not being able to dump oil. We are in the middle of a global pandemic! I’ve tried to dump oil and their oil tank was full but do you see me complaining? They can’t dump it if they don’t have room. A lot of people aren’t working right now. My fiancé is one of them and he drives from store to store collecting oil. I don’t know what company they use but he has been off because it isn’t a necessity. Stop being so selfish mr Norton! You clearly stated this store has been helpful to you but the only reason you’re mad is because you couldn’t dump your oil in the middle of a global pandemic..... Jesus you need a savior if you’re going to write a review like that! Pure selfish. I’ve seen some customers that go in this store. Some are rude because they feel entitled. The staff still goes out of their way and they really do try to be nice to people. But some of y’all attitudes really suck and you wonder why you get bad service Rant over! Let me reiterate- this store has been awesome to me! Thank you Kayla and team. I appreciate all you have done for my fiancé and myself!

Selling oil but not taking any back and not offering suggestions other than taking my business elsewhere. Which i will reluctantly start doing. Was a Very helpful shop and generally go out of there way. Auburn Rd may still be more knowledgeable but less helpful than the Walton store...

I'm a career auto mechanic and 30 year customer of the franchise. The Walton store in my opinion is a little more pricey on certain Items and the staff seems to constantly rotate so you need to do your homework if you want the prices to be competitive . I'm thankful to have the store and wish we had a few more auto part franchises around town!

Went to the store for turning the front brake rotors.I walk in the door with my two rotors in hand. The youngest clerk gives me a look as an alien just landed and asks "what can I do for you?" I'm thinking "I doubt you can help since you haven't noticed those two heavy rotors in my hand" but I try to remain unbiased and I answer:" well it would be helpful if you can turn those rotors for me". As expected he answer he cannot do that but he can call the manager. The lady store manager steps out, take a peek to the rotors and harshly verbalizes with a micrometer in her hands :" I will tell you what we can do and what not" . I swallow the rudeness but I think in my mind "she may have some experience after all she is the manager". After a rough check with the tool she peeks to the monitor and say " oh no those rotors are too much worn out. Also they are not serviceable, you need to replace both of them" . To a mechanical engineer like me working in the automotive industry for over 20 years it was obvious she was not honest about the conditions of the parts. Instead of recommending to a customer the best course of action to affordably fix the uneven wear, she was trying to deceive for a greater profit. Politely I replied that I was going to look for other solutions and I left the store. I went to another auto store which is few miles away and where I serviced in the past. No problem here . The young helpful clerk took my rotors in the back and they were turned like new in half an hour. Definitely I do not recommend the location on Walton boulevard.

Suprisingly good for your average auto parts store. They have stocked most of what i needed and usually can help me out. I stumped them when i came in tooking for teflon compound (not tape) and another time when i was wondering what grease i could use on some poly bushings. But even during those instances they provided all the help they could, calling others for opinion, etc. They usually have what i need and if they dont they can usually get it within the day. The main reason i go here though is because the hours of operation are quite convenient and its only a mile away from me.

Have had great experiences here. Most of the time customer service is great. On rare occasions the store is very busy and quality customer service is understandably spread thin. Their prices are far better than dealerships and they give me a military/veteran discount on most things. The only two complaints I have is that they do not stack coupons or offers together. For example, if I have earned a $5 O-rewards coupon they will not stack that with a military/veteran discount. It has to be one or the other. The other complaint I have, which is more of a piece of advise, is to watch out for some cheap quality made-in-china junk. Other than that, this place has earned my repeat business.
