I went in there to buy a roll of tape for a tail light. I got to the front went to ring up. Eldon was the cashier. As soon as I got up there the phone rang he answered it and proceeded the talk on the phone and ignore me and make me wait. I eventually got tired of waiting and walked out. That's very rude they were not busy. If he needed to multitask he could have talked to the person while he was ringing me up and he did not. He proceeded to keep looking up parts. I left nobody stopped me nothing. This is not the first time I've experienced inconveniences and customer service there.

Where to start....Well Over the last 24 hours I went from a well running 2020 Buick to having a huge coolant leak that I had no idea where it came from. My Grandparents drove 4 hours to come try to help me. After stopping at multiple auto parts stores and being told what we needed didn't exist we stopped at O'Reilly's on Auburn and took another chance. John was an absolute life saver helping us to trouble shoot and work through a solution to our problem, even offering multiple different options. We ended up making two trips back to the store, as we decided to go back and measure first to double check sizes, but when came back he sprang to action and helped us quickly and efficiently. He even set my grandparents up with a rewards account and set up their military discount. John made what was already a terrible day a much less stressful one and we were able to get my car up and running. Thank you a million John. We will forever recommend O'Reilly on Auburn for all needs! -The Priest Family

Outstanding service and much appreciation to the store manager, Sean. He was able to set me up with a new battery and swapped out my old battery for the new one promptly. That speedy and courteous service was appreciated.

The guys her 8 21 25 12 30 in the afternoon. I come into the store all the time. I came in there. I could have robbed them blind. Everybody was in the back. They seen me. They didn't want to walk up front and greet their customer. I could have stalled hundreds of dollars and walked out the door and they would have never known cause they were on a lunch break. You as an owner of your store, you should be more careful of your employees.

This O’Reillys has been helping me since I lived in Shelby township and I’ve never had such amazing help. To be specific I had an injector go bad on my mustang and needed the part asap, the AM mark was very helpful and kind , 5 min part stop and back on the road!

My 2020 ford fusion check engine light was on , I went to this store to get a OBD Read . Nik was super helpful in Reading the code and ordering the oxygen sensor . He was also very helpful in showing the location of the oxygen sensor .Thanks NIK Appreciate your help

Went in the other day to return a part that I purchased from this store, recommended by an associate that worked there for my vehicle. The part did not fit my car and when I went in to return it, I was met with a disgruntled employee who was immediately frustrated that he had to make a return and decided to lecture me about returning parts. He then proceeded to call various things he brought up as "retarded". A lot of complaining for something that ended up taking 2 minutes to do. The only reason this is not a 1 star is because I eventually got my money back for the part. I used to only go to O'Reilly's for parts because the service and knowledge was great, but it seems their standards for employees are dropping

Went in to get new brakes and rotors and also recycle our old engine oil. After a bit of a wait we were met with a very rude employee. After we got our oil recycled in their bin that they make a profit off of they told us they can't take the containers the oil was in. So now they not only made a profit off of my oil but refuse to dispose of the containers? So we threw them out in the trash can right outside and they literally grabbed the trash opened my trunk and tossed it in there and had the audacity to say "it's a $1,000 fine for every single container left In the can". Went next door to autozone and asked if we could dispose our containers and told them what happened and they were so confused about the oil situation and said they had never hear of something like that before and literally said the opposite thing and wee very kind. So if your looking for an auto parts store go to autozone right across the street! Don't be met with rudeness and incompetent people at O'Reillys. They couldn't even tell me what parts I needed for my vehicle I had to bring them in after taking them off of my car but when I went to autozone they knew immediately what I needed!

Dave was super helpful! I stopped in because my brake lights were out. He quickly helped me find the bulbs I needed and even helped me replace them!

I stopped here yesterday and the guy was very nice. I need screws for my license plate and he couldn’t come out to the car to look so he could help me figure out what I needed since he was there alone. I went back today and the man who that is as at the counter wasn’t helpful at all! He acted like he didn’t want to be there! I hope I bought the correct kind of screws!!! I won’t go back to this location!

I went in to O'Reilly Auto Parts on Auburn Rd last night (3/6/24) to purchase a new bulb for my headlight that had just gone out. I was greeted really quickly and both staff members hopped into action to get me the help I needed. They went out to my car to confirm I was getting the correct bulb and they even changed the bulb for me while the other was ringing me up! I really appreciate the GREAT customer service!

This is one of my favorite locations. Recently when I needed parts for a brake job on a Journey, they had everything I needed and when I found I needed additional parts they were able to order and get for me the next day. Friendly and helpful staff here. Store well stocked and, in the event they do not have your part, they are pretty quick to get it ordered and in most cases to you within a day. They always have the oils and cleaners I need to maintain my vehicles as well. Thanks.

Went looking for a specific size of plastic shield fasteners/retainers for under my car and brought some to show the employee what we were looking for. He didn’t seem like he knew what he was searching for on his computer to see if they had any in stock and told us “we have nothing like that here.” He then directed us to the aisle with the fasteners and said “I have other customers to help.” As if… we are not customers seeking help???

They had multiple guys behind the counter. The one who helped me seemed ok. The other one told a customer that his battery was going to require the entire wiper cowl to be removed to access is battery. A lie so he would not have to change the battery. He was also very short with customers.

I walked in, found the wiper blade aisle, and spent 10 minutes navigating the little computer that tells you what blades you need. (Very useful if the employees are busy with other customers or are just too busy hanging out and talking to one another). I eventually figured out which ones to get for the front windshield, but the little computer that was assisting me couldn't tell me which blade to buy for the rear windshield. Not wanting to interrupt the employees' conversation, I decided to just Google it. After scrolling through the results looking for the O'Reilly website I came across the AutoZone website and gave that a try. I input some make/model info, and it gave me a plethora of information about what blades to use on each wiper. (There are 3 different sizes for the Jeep Compass - Driver's side, Passenger's side, and rear). I looked for anything that was 10 inches, as was the size of my rear wiper blade, but came up empty handed. Realizing at this point that there was literally an AutoZone across the street, I carefully put the wipers I was already holding in my hands back on the pegs I took them from and casually strolled out of the store. I was easily in there for 15 - 20 minutes, and not one person acknowledged my existence. But the folks at AutoZone were very friendly and helpful. They even helped me to put the blades on. O'Reilly should really take notes.

Well, when to start I went last night to change a car battery and they said come tomorrow morning when other members are here to help you. My son went at 8:00 am they said oh you must come at 1:30 pm to change your battery the person who do this service is not here. And to finish in 1;30 pm the person in front store said we don't do that. Basically we lost a day from work and more time to find another place. Thank you for your service I'm never return to your store ever.

After being an almost exclusive customer to this store since 2001, I will no longer give them my money. I've never had an issue with recycling my oil containers in the past. Yes, I always have multiple containers to cut down on trips to the store. Marshall was so nice to say that they could only take one and that the store across the street did not even take old oil anymore. This could not have been further from the truth. I left to go across the street where they stated that they had no limit and still would take old oil. I continued my intended purchase from O'Reilly at the store across the street. You've lost a customer you've had for over 20 years.

I walked in the other day asking about their battery warranty program but I couldn't find my receipt and really didn't understand how things worked. A lovely older gentle men when out of his to assist me in trying to find the receipt digitally. With no luck I decided to purchase a new battery while gaining valuable advice along the way. When I tell you this man has optimal customer service skills I mean it. He was kind, informative, and straight up hilarious. I'm unsure of his name but he deserves a raise. That man made my day. After losing my grandfather, getting hit by a semi, and losing my job, this experience is just what I needed. Thank you!

O'Reilly Auto Parts always has what I need in stock; if they don't have it, they'll gladly order it for you. The associates are friendly and helpful. The overall atmosphere has been much improved with updated lights, signage, and shelving layouts.

Great customer service and had the rare part that I needed. My only hiccup was that I asked to borrow a wrench to do the repair in the parking lot and the representative couldn't find the customer tool cart. I would have hoped that I could have borrowed one that was for sale in that case or he could have looked a little harder for the cart. Anyways, that's why the minus one star.

Great location with plenty of parking. Store is attractive, well organized and prices appear to be competitive with the big box stores. If you purchase wiper blades from them they'll install them for you. Dean, the counter man, double checked and made sure I had the right blades before I purchased them, and was very friendly and knowledgeable.

I went in there for some parts this afternoon and ended up not buying anything. The store manager Dave acted like he didn’t want to help me at all. He was very rude and very short. I will only ever deal with the other Rochester store on Walton after this experience. Dave should not be a manager for this company. He has no people skills and is a complete jerk!

Great selection and super staff. Took the time to help me, without me asking! Bonus points for that. Then put my new wiper blades on for me, which was great as you had five clip choices. They work great btw, thanks again!

Jake in commercial and Renee the manager are great people and are a huge value to the company. They are polite and know what they're doing. This is the best location near me by far. Always good service. I visit 3-4 times a week for different things I need and these two have never let me down. If anyone goes to this location please see these individuals.

I visited the store today because I was in need for a new battery for my Jeep Wrangler. I chose this store because I have gone in the past and they were always helpful but a normal kind of helpful, if that makes sense. I was helped by a man named, Al (Alfred). He was amazing. Very helpful and knew what he was about. Even though my battery gave him a hard time , since the vehicle is 20 years old and rust is bountiful, he didn't make it seem like a chore to help me out. He was very sociable and made me feel as though I was being taken care of instead of advantage of. Al is a great man and I greatly appreciate everything he did for me and the patience he had with my rust bucket. I will definitely come back again for future auto needs. Thanks again, Al and O'Reilly's! Grade A+
