This is the place is the best for parts great deals and great service shad was so heapful and saved me from making a mistake. The item was too small for my car and he took out a measuring tape and showed me it’s the wrong part unfortunately I had to buy the part more expensive but he still saved me from aggravation of having to come back. I will def be coming here for every time I need to fix any car I have!!! I would def recommend this place

This is Saturday 1 PM. Dispatch cause says they would be here in an hour then three hours later they don’t answer my call or my text. I start shopping around and he calls and says he had a flat and can be here by 8:30 at night. I decline and tell him to come over in the morning .
He shows up Sunday morning goes under the car take some pictures says the catalytic converter Has been replaced with a cheaper model. Then offers me 200 bucks.
I’m between a rock and a hard place because the city wants it gone. I don’t wanna fix it and I don’t wanna pay to insure it and register it. And I sure don’t want to pay any city fines. At this point, the dispatch guy has the Sales guy On the phone offered me 250 to tell him my walk he gives me three and let them chain it up and pull it out
Sales guide didn’t say anything about Cadillac converters. Also the catalytic converter on that thing look pretty rusty. Who would flip out a Cadillac converter why wouldn’t you just replace the pipe? We’re in Michigan nobody cares. Pretty sure they hustled me out of 200 bucks on a vehicle that’s worth 10 times that.
So yeah, I wouldn’t suggest these guys unless you just need the car gone. There’s too many honest people out there to give these guys any business
I don’t know if I’d recommend this place to anyone. The part I received reeked of gasoline and was not the right part as the pictures. Doesn’t fit whatsoever. They tried saying it was my fault and it literally was NOT the part in the picture that WOULD have fit my car. Instead they send me something I can’t even keep in my house because it smells so bad. Even If it did fit I still wouldn’t put that in my car with it smelling that bad.
Man listen these guys the best!!! Any help you may need they take their time while you upset lol (because who’s really happy they need car parts) They have both options for new and a huge selection of used to fit your budget!!! Just always make your day a little easier!!!
Great prices for parts you'd normally pay out the nose at dealer or AutoZone etc. Don't ever go to dealer if you have just a little mechanical ability. For example, I had a wonky drivers side master window switch. Manufacturer (Kia) wants $200 for this part, acme had oem part for $40. 10 minute job to replace. They also have a free 30 day warranty. Go see Chad and the gang, they'll treat you right.
They offered me 700 for my truck over the phone. I told them I'd get few more quotes and get back with them. I received similar quotes but would have to wait a day for the others. I called acme back and they came within an hour and did the classic bait and switch.. dropping the original agreed on price to 600.. stating it was an aftermarket catalytic converter. Lol. I am the original owner and am positive it wasn't swapped out in the 20 years I've owned it. That's bad business.. I'm 100% sure the driver put the extra $100 in his pocket..

I want to turn my trailblazer in they told me that if I drove it up there they would give me $550 for it. They're not even on Williams lake road they're on Dixie highway so none of their information is correct I would never suggest these people to know one. I'm calling the Better Business bureau on that that's false advertisement!!!!
Really cool guys and had the parts that I needed but unfortunately both parts I received from them were damaged. Ordered a “new” fender from them, that was damaged in box. Ordered a headlight from them that had a deep scratch but couldn’t see it upon pick up since it was covered in dust so once cleaned i noticed it was damaged a little. No refunds on any body parts which is a little out of the normal since most of these places accept returns and at most charge a restocking fee. Just a heads up that they don’t accept returns on new or used body parts so double check. Again cool guys but after going here I am out of $250 and stuck with damaged parts
I've purchased about 5 times from here, very simple and affordable most of the time. Just do your due diligence when purchasing larger parts. I picked up a rear axle from a ram 2500 over the winter, same year truck so direct fit. Unfortunately I waited till summer to get Around to installation of it and realized the whole axle housing is bent.
I personally have never seen one bent, so I trusted them to have inspected the part before charging 500 dollars for it. I rented a truck and trailer to pick it up, and hired a mechanic to install. I'm at a major loss now due to the lack of diligence from Acme Auto Parts to sell a usable part at used but working condition rates.
The staff was friendly, and pickup was simple. They even helped me load. So I believe they still have good intentions to do solid business with the public. I'm just scared now to blow any more money on parts that just "might be useable!"
