I have had one of the worst experiences in buying parts with this company than I ever had in my entire life. I ordered some parts from this company and as soon as I ordered them, I realize that was the wrong parts. I canceled the order 30 seconds after canceling I ordered the correct parts three days later I find that my part was not canceled the correct parts that I ordered took over a week to get here the parts that I canceled took over a week to come to me in order for me to send the parts back these people debited my account Causing me over $500 in negative charges then they wanted to charge me $25 to Restock the parts I canceled in Jason to all of that it took me three weeks to get my money back on my card worse company ever by your parts anywhere else other than this place ANYONE GIVING MORE THAN ONE STAR IS WORKING FOR THE COMPANY THIS COMPANY DONT DESERVE A STAR AT ALL DO NOT FALL FOR THE FAKE (5) STAR RATING THEY COME FROM THE FAKE CUSTOMERS

Detroit Axle will not stand behind their warranties they always have a gimmick, like making up rules do you have to do before you can take the next step even when you do the next step they make up another rule. In my opinion it'd be best to buy for my local auto store pay the extra and get good merchandise and better service stay away from Detroit axles products . They ignore all emails and reference to any communications including the CEO.

Ordered 2 separate times, gave them the benefit of the doubt. First time they sent the wrong rotors to me, fine it happens. You would think they would say to send the incorrect rotors back and they will expedite the correct rotors; wrong, they wouldn’t send me the correct rotors until I sent back and they received and inspected the incorrect rotors. Did that and everything worked out. No I wasn’t offered anything for the inconvenience either. The second order I placed has been a nightmare. I ordered Sunday night, expecting delivery Wednesday as it said on the website, they claim 2 day shipping on all orders. Well I get a notification saying they shipped it Monday, check the tracking number and it wasn’t picked up until Tuesday. Delivery estimate is for Saturday now! I contacted them, they don’t offer anything for inconvenience and say we will escalate it to our shipping department. I check tracking on Thursday and it’s now estimated for Monday! 8 days from order is a far cry from 2 as promised. I gave them a call and was offered 7% refund because it was the most he could do, nothing else could be done, no manager around to talk to. I was told the delay was due to fedex damaging the package. Why was this not told the first time I contacted them? I was then offered 10% refund instead, but I was told 7 was the max just 3 minutes ago. This company is unbelievable. Last time ever using them. Product is half decent even the price but I’ll spend a little more to get good customer service.

Yeah, so, I purchased a part from the website and it let me pay for it, check out, and gave me tracking, with an estimated delivery date like 3 days later. The day of delivery arrives and I check the tracking and it shows the label was created but has not moved the whole time. I called, and they said to call back on a couple days if it still hasn't moved as they can then ship a new one. I called a couple days later and they told me they would ship another part out. 5 minutes later they call back and say they are actually out of stock and will have to refund it. So I asked if there's a chance the original one I ordered could still arrive. They said it would be sent back to them. So now I have to wait who knows how long for a refund and attempt to buy one somewhere else, all the while the website still shows the part I ordered is still in stock! I'm pretty sure they never had the part and just let me pay for one, please mark items unavailable on your website/ eBay shop if you are out as it's misleading to consumers. Why waste my time and tie up my money like this? You also offer a remanufactured version on the website that is also in stock, you could have offered that as well?

A great parts supplier online and in person. Sometimes they're busy but they always get you in and out as fast as they can. Truly grateful for a parts supplier of this size in our own backyard. giving out the best deals with 10year warranty for most parts.

So I bought a kit of control arms about 4 months ago in may 2nd 2025 and they fit correctly, but after 4 months or so I noticed the steering was not right I went to try to get an alignment again, but that's when I was told the control arms where already bad the bushes were ripped on both sides and the tires were bald on the inside so I had to replace the control arms right away locally because it was not safe. I called customer service and I was told they could replace them but I didn't want them replaced since they were such low quality I was just asking for a credit since I had to replace them locally, so very low quality on their parts because of this I had to pay for new alignment and 2 new front tires wouldn't buy from them again

Rotors ordered. Warped! Contacted Detroit axle and they gave us the run around. Would not replace them, so we returned the “new” warped rotors and then they wanted to charge us the full price of the rotors as a restocking fee. So, you’re going to restock the warped rotors? Ordered through Amazon, and Amazon has been great. Big no for Detroit axle.

I ordered a fuel pump and they sent me the wrong one, I sent it back same day as I was asked to do so while waiting for a new Tracking # i get the run around and was told that the correct part would be here on Friday but what they didn't tell me was that the correct part was being shipped from TX and now I have to wait until Saturday to get it. When I called them to give them the Vin # they couldn't find my car in there system how is that possible in the pictures you can clearly see what is wrong. So far I'm not happy with the customer service department.

I ordered a rack and pinion from them. The power steering lines couldn’t connect because the threads on the rack were different. After 3 emails and many pictures they asked me to return the part. After that they will never respond and won’t refund me for the part. I bought a different brand of rack and the power steering lines threaded right in. I’m out $250

I ordered a full brake and rotor kit for my ram 1500. Kit was missing brake clips for the front brakes. Contacted customer support and they sent me new front brake pads. Still no clips. Called customer service and they said there is nothing they can do. They gave me $15 back and said I had to go find them somewhere else. Took me an extra week to order and receive the clips from O'Reilly auto parts. They cost $20. This left me with a vehicle i couldn't drive for an extra week. Not sure I will purchase here again since they were fine with leaving me stranded

My recent order for shocks I needed immediately, they actually care because, I woke up this morning, my parts were at my doorstep. Free Shipping. Without them I would not have a safe, driveable vehicle!!

Avoid this place like the plague, I just drove an hour up there to be told they no longer carry anything outside of brakes, tie, rod ends, and wheel bearings in store. So then I’m told they’re in stock at another store and I drive 15 minutes there to be told the same exact thing. I will never order off their website again. Everything I’ve gotten from the website has been damaged extremely late all my brakes have been warped. Then they expect you to pay shipping and handling to return the stuff and get new stuff at a ridiculous price. I was gonna pay $150 to ship back warped Brake pads. This place needs a good hard look at from the Attorney General‘s office As now everything they do is based around screwing the customer.

They told me on the order 2 days it would be here now they say 6 days after I already ordered the part the guy on the phone says, we'll you can go buy one locally then return this one back to us. How about you don't outright lie about shipping times just to get a sale not even sure that is.legal. Regardless if you like always having your parts late use this place.

Detroit Axle is great at sending defective parts. You will spend time, money, and a lot of effort for nothing because the parts they send are absolutely worthless. The offer to send you a replacement for extra money and promise to check that the second part isn't defective. Makes you wonder why they didn't check the first part? 11 days later, I'm still waiting for a call back from customer service. I’ve called 3 times, but they can’t do anything. I have to wait for a call back. Wish I had seen they had 3 stars before buying anything from them!

Ordered parts on sat and its Tuesday and parts still have not shipped or received email about a tracking number. Called Monday morning 1030am before the 2pm cutoff to find out there was a hold cause the shipping and billing address was different. So figured by the website id get the parts today.. Parts was not posted as not in stock. Only to call back and they still haven't done anything. 2 day free shipping ordered before 2pm Easter standard time ships the same day is not true. Price is great just don't depend on the parts getting there on time.

DO NOT BUY HERE! You will be disappointed! Sent the wrong parts. The order was correct. Not sure if someone packaged the wrong parts in the wrong boxes or if someone made a mistake picking the parts for my order. As soon as I noticed they were wrong I tried to call. Apparently they keep different hours on Saturday then what they advertise. I ordered my parts Monday morning, the transaction cleared my account by that afternoon yet my parts were not shipped until Wednesday. Now how long am I going to have wait for these to get shipped back and refund my money? On top of everything the car is taken apart and still needs rotors and pads all the way around. This is the headache I get for trying save a 120$ in this economy. As a first time customer they failed to make a good impression. I can't speak for the quality of the parts since I cant use what they sent me. AVOID MY HASSLE JUST ORDER POWER STOP BRAKES FROM AMAZON!

I bought a set of rear rotors for a 2022 ram 3500. I messaged them and made sure they was the correct part which they said yes. Also was all that they even offered for a 2022 ram that are drilled/slotted. I received the parts and tried to install one of the rotors. They wouldn't fit, wasnt even close to the correct size to bolt onto the bearing hub. I then emailed and even sent in pics showing they didn't fit. They asked for Vin# and more pics which I sent in. 2 days later they finally send a return label. I boxed them right back up and sent them to them. They said now that I won't get any refund at all because of a grease smudge. I may as well kept them to maybe be able to sell on a truck they actually fit. Now I'm out time, money and can't even attempt a resale. If this is how this company does business I would go with a company with better service not trying to scam people.

I purchased a complete front-end kit, which included ball joints, tie rods, a steering rack, control arms, brakes, and rotors. Unfortunately, several issues arose shortly after installation. The upper ball joints did not fit despite being advertised as compatible. The lower ball joints required replacement after just six months. Additionally, the rotors warped within a few months of use. I replaced them with rotors from a different manufacturer to determine whether the issue stemmed from my driving habits or the original calipers—those replacements have held up well for over eight months. I chose not to pursue a warranty claim on the initial components, as I prefer to invest in higher-quality parts moving forward. More recently, the steering rack began leaking. This is a more costly part I ordered from them. When I reached out regarding a warranty claim, I was quickly informed that no warranty applied because I had not returned the core. However, prior to placing the order, I spoke with a representative by phone, and there was no mention of a core return requirement. Furthermore, no such instruction was included in any confirmation emails, nor was there a return label or documentation provided with the shipment. In short, this experience has been disappointing. The lack of transparency and customer support has confirmed that you often get what you pay for. I recommend purchasing from a more reputable supplier.

Be Careful With Dealing With This Seller. If Package Is Stolen And You Send Them Proof, They Will Not Proceed To Help As They Still State That Stolen Packages Is Out Of Their Control. They Will Also Not Put In A Claim On Your Behalf As FedEx Advise That The Seller Should Do. So Please Be Careful. This Will Be The Last Time I Will Be Dealing With This Seller. There Are Other Places That Sell Cheap Parts, You Just Have To Do Some Research.

This company is the worst. False advertising all around. This company is a fraud and steals your money. They do NOT honor their advertising about 2-day shipping or refunds in 24-48 hours. After it is shipped it takes 1 to 2 weeks to arrive. The cancelation and refund process is a nightmare. Canceled my order before it even shipped, then they lied and said it shipped. It ending up "shipping" 2 hours after this initial conversation about canceling the order. Then come to find out, they lied about canceling my order when I specifically told them that I was CANCELING my order. They finally canceled the order 3 days later. Then 6 days after that, the parts show up on my doorstep. The parts box went straight from my doorstep to my car, back to FEDEX. It then took 7 days to get a refund, that is not even the full refund I was supposed to receive. They then claimed they only received the small cost part and not the most expensive part. I have been fighting with this company about this for weeks! Someone should file a lawsuit against this company for their false, misleading, and deceptive advertising as it is a crime!

Truck Driver delivery is in the back. I was able to get unloaded within 1 hr on a Tuesday Morning. There's just enough space to manuver around. The place is a bit filthy, so make sure not to step on pallets or anything that can get u a flat tire.

Ever since the beginning when they were Dearborn axle, I bought tons of brakes and wheel bearings never ever went to the headquarters until today I was in the area Getting some business done and I needed some auto parts never had a disappointment. They have really good service. People are friendly. They get you the right parts and above all quality. Keep doing what you’re doing DT. you’ll always have a customer for life here.

I visited this beautiful establishment today owned by a Palestinian-American Businessman and I could feel the peace and Mercy of Allah Subhanahu Wa’tala from the gate all the way to the check in desk. If you need a car part, this is your place to go; I cannot dispute it. If you want to feel confident in your car parts and the manufacturer of them than this gentleman has exactly what you need. What a mess dealing with this place. Ordered struts and shocks from here. Ships out the next day, they meant week. China built parts so guess what they didn’t fit. Got a shipping label and returned the struts and shocks. 20 days later I call about the refund. “We only received one of your struts” we will contact the warehouse. I packed two in the box and two shocks. I know, I packed it. Just shady be careful.

Look at the high volume of negative reviews. Many many customers have stated that they always use the excuse that you tried to Install the parts on the vehicle so therefore you will not get your money back. Once they see your phone number on caller id and you're a complaining customer, they will not answer their phone. They will definitely blame you for any parts that are incorrect or do not fit the vehicle. If you try to get the parts warranted they're gonna try to recover have the cost and charge you shipping handling and restocking fees look at the customer reviews before purchasing from this company. The blame will always be the customer purchasing the parts, this company will not honor their Warranties please beware . Many customers are out of their money so play it smart I Tried to warn you guys when you try to call them to resolve the issue they will not answer their phone once they see your phone number. They will leave you on hold for an incredibly long time and then they will not resolve your issue. If you purchase any front end parts from this company you are gonna be one of the many customers Who will not get a dime back. Buyers beware! I ordered a rack and pinion for my 2003 Infiniti M45 while on deployment. When I returned to the states and went to install the part I noticed the item was not the correct part for my vehicle. After coordinations with the Amazon seller who recommended I call Detroit Axle to get the issue resolved, I did so and came out with no resolution. The company is refusing to accept that the part they sent is the incorrect and they are also requiring me to send in my core to do a warranty exchange which I understand but it doesn't resolve the initial issue of the part being incorrect. I'm currently out of $250 dollars due to them refusing to issue a refund for a company mistake. Please be careful with this buyer and the company.

Don’t order anything from them, really hard to get warranty or replacement parts when the customer service is a joke. Absolutely the worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with. Detroit Axle needs to bring their customer service back to the United States because the 3rd party company they outsourced to provide it is not representing them well. I’ve never spoken to a more entitled group of people or to a customer service representative that tries to make it out like what happened is your fault. I ended up just requesting a refund because of how bad the customer service treated me. I am an Army veteran that was a Ford certified technician before I joined. I’ve never seen any company package parts the way that Detroit Axle did with my front end kit. I also have never seen a company place so many heavy suspension components into one box. The reason I return the kit I ordered originally is because parts were missing and several of the clear plastic bags the parts were supposed to be sealed in were open. There was also a SureStop brake rotor box used as packing material. That is not a brand Detroit Axle sells and it makes me think they sent me parts someone else returned. I can’t believe they’re still in business.
