I was in a horrible accident on February 26,2025, and I've never expected to meet such kind and caring people. This morning my F350 blew a pump on the 75 south just before Crooks rd. I called General towing, they answered right away and took my info and location and let me know it would be about 30-40 before he would be there. I let them know I had my wife coming to get me and that I would be at the house waiting. I waited about 15-20 for her and then we drove the 35 min back to Oxford. The driver showed up not 20 minutes after we got home with my vehicle. Lemme tell ya if you get Halim as your tow truck driver be prepared for amazing service and over the top kindness and smiles. Great experience with General and if I ever find myself in need of a tow again in that area I'll make sure to call General and request Halim if he's on duty. Great service and Great guy.
I had an excellent experience with their dispatch and driver (Doc) who took great care in towing my car. He wanted to make sure everything was okay before he left me at Discount Tire for my flat tire. Great Job!

Unfortunately, I had to have multiple Roadside Assistance claims over the last 48 hours on my 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
Fortunately, one of them was with General Towing. I have never received more professional and more respectful service for my vehicle than from Doc the service gentlemen. He was extremely knowledgeable about vehicle systems, extremely professional and, most surprising (because you don’t see this any more), an extremely caring and thoughtful soul.
I found out that you CAN request a towing company if you should ever need Roadside Assistance thru your insurance company. I wish I had known this years ago.

Today my coworker walked out to a flat tire after a long day of work. We couldn't get the lug nuts off so had to call a tow company. My insurance wouldn't cover another car so they gave me the number to General Towing. I didn't get her name but when I called she was very nice and didn't make me feel like I was bothering her(something common in customer service these days). She got my information and was quick to schedule assistance. The driver arrived quicker than expected and right off the bat was very personable and helpful. When I asked of they offered a military discount he called and it was immediately honored. William then broke out all the tools and got to work. Some of the best work I've seen in a long time. The hospital security didn't have tire change assistance so I'm going to give them their business card just in case someone calls and needs help. 5 star all the way for William and General Towing.

This was my first call with General Towing and I couldn't recommend it more! They arrived exactly when they said they would, no hassle and an extremely fair price. Truly don't know what we would have done without Collin and am very appreciative of him helping us get our u-hual out of the mud at my grandmothers place.
Billy was great, very friendly service and quick. Price given was reasonable as well for the distance. Would definitely call general towing again if I needed my car towed. Car tire was blown and prevented me from getting to work. He got here faster than expected as well. Definitely recommend to others.
Work in the area but don’t live around here and called this place for help and they were excellent the whole way through. Can’t recommend enough. They quoted me up front, showed when they said they would, and were so kind the whole time as I’ve been very frazzled.

I had a flat tire when i went to go grab lunch, General Towing was called from my car insurance. The tech Billy arrived within 30 minutes and was already working on the tire before I got outside. ASK FOR RICK!!!!! Seriously on Valentine’s Day my tire shredded as I was getting on highway! ADLERS TOWING left me for 3 hours claiming they were on their way back to fix my flat that they said “WASN’T FLAT!!!!” look at my tire, shredded, flat AND has a carpenter nail in it!!!! Seriously I was a scared single woman on the side of the road for 3 hours in the dark and rain!! Rick didn’t make me feel stupid with the questions I asked and even though my doughnut was rusted he still put it on to get me home!! Rick also was nice enough to remind me to call my insurance company and have them pay me back for the tow fee and even showed me what I needed in order for the refund. Rick, you deserve the world for being a really good dude. Funny thing is another car got a flat and was stuck behind me and they also called general towing so he was able to help them as well.
Terrible company that is in cohoots with some Bloomfield township department officers getting kick backs for towing vehicles for unethical amounts and charges on vehicles that have been in accidents.I see other people have had the same thing happen to them with these crooks aswell. Lawyer in 5,4,3,2,1 RUN BEWARE!!!!

Got into an accident, tow truck driver wouldn't tow my car to my house which was 5 minutes away because "he was the only driver in the area", however he towed my car 30 minutes away to his impound yard and charged me $450 for towing and storage overnight. These people are criminals who prey off people who are shocked after an accident.
Edit: The owner responded. I got into an accident in the middle of July during broad daylight, not on a snowy and icy evening. They made up an excuse just to make themselves look better. Do not trust this company. Attached my PERSONAL photo for proof.
Wonderful Service and well trained drivers! My Toyota blew a head gasket in June and I needed a tow, but the tow price from my insurance company was charging me over 200 bucks for a 15 minute tow. Sometimes those insurance companies hire people that don’t know how to properly tow your car & you leave with a messed up transmission on top of your current issue. Saw the good ratings on this place so I called, I was able to get a great price on towing that Progressive would’ve never gave me. Had a tow truck by the side of the freeway in 30 minutes (I’ve waited 4+ hrs each time before with insurance companies) The younger gentleman William was our tow driver and strapped on my Corolla very securely and at a good pace too. I’ve seen a lot of men strap cars up but he did it no problem and did it right without having to restrap and re-adjust the car on the bed all day. Thank you guys & thank you William for the good and secure service! I was able to afford my tow going to these guys. I greatly appreciate places where all the workers (younger and older) have good work ethic and hire employees that know how to get it done right - Jasmine H.

This 55+years Tow service was Aplus! We were in a very busy intersection when our car died. They were there in less than ten minutes with Brandon who carefully and expertly got our car on the flatbed and safely towed it to a close location for service.. Call them if you need a tow!!
