Never knew this place even existed until my friend helped me call around for a rim…. Anyways Needed a rim and they were the only ones that had one for my car. The tire that was on it wasn’t good so they took the tire off my busted rim and put it on all for a fair price. The two men at the counter were friendly and we shared a few laughs which was nice cause people just are usually rude these days. Thanks guys for helping me out!!! I appreciate it!!!
Just going to tell my story. I live in Maryland, my daughter took my truck (01 GMC Sierra), to a music in Michigan. On the way home the engine lost oil pressure and locked up. Fortunately only a few miles from Rockwood. They towed it, diagnosed it and gave me a price for a used engine. I accepted the offer. 2 weeks later my daughter flew back to Michigan, drove the truck home, about 7 hours, no problem. That was the last week in June. My wife and I just returned from Cape Cod, a 16 hour round trip, no problem at all. Thanks Rockwood!
Good customer service and they seem like honest people but I purchased a pair of tail lights for my 2013 GMC Sierra. Priced fairly but unfortunately they were cheap foreign knockoffs rather than a GM part and the fitment is subpar. There is a noticeable gap at the bottom edge of taillight that the factory ones didn’t have. Time will tell if these ones also leak like the factory ones.
Edit: Since they want to respond and be even bigger jerks let me change my review to be even more harsh. The customer service was not great. When I walked it I stood there for at least 5 minutes waiting for someone to come to counter as there was no bell or way for me to get there attention. And customer service is not the only thing that matters you guys need to sell quality parts and what you sell is junk. Rather than saying “we didn’t manufacture it” why not sell decent quality stuff so no the price wasn’t fair for the junk parts you sell. I should be able to return this junk for a full refund.
Another update: Not even a day later and these ones already are letting water. Awful business to buy from and absolutely ego filled jerks.

Very polite and responsive , honest prices and a real comforting feeling that your in good hands I not once felt I was getting scammed or lied to!! If you need parts or towing or something fixed give them a call and a chance you will not regret it and probably just like I have refer them to your friends and families also
They told me I had to put trans oil in the engine so it can un seize it self, they sold me a bad motor, then they had the nerve to tell me that it was a me problem since I’m black, they are a racist business and sell faulty parts, I have to pay for labor again and out over $2500 because of this horrible business

After having the starter replaced on my 2009 Jeep Commander 3 times (x3 tows) at another shop Downriver, I finally had it towed here. A day later these guys had it fixed. It wasn’t even the actual starter that was the issue. The other place never took the time to make sure the connection was good so the wire just kept coming loose. I will tell everybody I know to use these guys. They were honest, quick and reasonable.

My sons car was towed to the shop. They diagnosed it without even calling him to tell him the price. They fixed a loose wire and charged him $175. The car was still having issues when they gave it back. I feel they took advantage of him because he was young. I would not recommend going here.

Called about a couple of parts for my husband's old Cherokee and I was greeted with friendly service and a quick call back about the parts being in stock or not. They were kind enough to double check they had it before I drove out (after having experienced another yard telling me they had, but when I arrived they explained they were mistaken with no call back). I will always check here before going somewhere else. Reasonable pricing and honest/up front about what they offer.
