these guys and girls are hard working individuals who made the scrapping a great experience i was just cleaning up the yard because of screwing i got from mobile home park were i live in these guys helped me get the most for the disaster the park caused and made it a little less stressful for me by being great crew to get the highest scrap price for the situation i was in i would recommend them any day thank you apex
Overall a great scrap yard for all your metal recycling needs. Fast and friendly service always. These are great people to deal with! Their scrap prices are more than fair and updated frequently! I would recommend this family-owned business any day of the week!
Yard guy was extremely rude and vulgar. I don't know if he was having a bad day or what, but it was completely unnecessary and
totally unprovoked so no reason for it, especially to a customer.

I am truly not a scrapper per se, but if I see a stove, fridge, washer or dryer I will snag it, load it, get weighed & drop it off.

Talked with Mike the owner. Great guy and great business! Really takes care of you. First time there and he is making sure you are getting the proper worth of the metal or scrap cars you bring. Had a 03 Focus from a project that was stopped. Looked up in Shelby and he was on there with great reviews. And so my experience has proven those reviews are true. Again, thanks Mike for helping me out and getting things sorted. Even hooked me up with a towing company to make it easier. Thank you!
Can't really say enough about how great they are to work with! If you've been to other larger scrap yards then you know this place operates . Best operated yard I have seen yet!
This is a great scrap yard. The owner and employees are attentive, helpful, and fair. They all seem like great guys. And the copper prices were much better than the other scrap yards I’ve used. If bringing back wire though, make sure to do any sorting beforehand if possible because, unlike most other places, here you pull up and an employee unloads straight from your car to the scale. If it’s not sorted, he’ll help. So you won’t get gypped or anything. But it’s quicker if you sort it beforehand. So yeah, try it out. It’s a good yard
The guys at Apex were so nice and did everything to help get the most money out of my scrap. They were picking through the bed of my truck pulling out items i didn't even know were worth more money. Hands down the best scrap yard I've ever been to.
Apex showed great professionalism and went out of their way to help facilitate the car removal. Their phone quote wasn't bad, and when I went into their office, they offered me over $100 MORE THAN what I was quoted on the phone (!). I truly appreciate what Mike and his team did for my family.
