They did a great job with my car and had me ready to go a lot faster than I expected. The price was also fair, and the couple of people that I spoke to there were chill. I'll definitely be back for any future work that I need done.

Disappointing. I had many people refer them to me. Called on Friday the 11th and the guy who answered the phone said he’d email me a quote. He said he was very busy that day and it would not be until the end of the day. I told him no problem just get back to me on Monday. No call, text or email all week so I called on the 18th and the same guy answered the phone. Said he didn’t have the numbers off the tires so he could not give me a quote. Why did he not tell me to get the numbers in the first place? He had my cell and email as well. He acted as if losing some business was no big deal. That’s too bad - I could have referred a lot of business to him.

Always treated with friendliness and honesty. And I know that because I checked with other shops before and after having my cars worked on by them. Will continue to bring my vehicles here. Thank you!

Great shop just had my brakes checked at 50k they said they where good no change needed and no charge also gave an awesome quote on an oil change coming up. Service is hard to find these days but this place delivers.

Turns out all the positive reviews are well deserved! Decided to give River City a shot after seeing their high Google rating and recommendations on some social media groups. I knew I needed brakes done on my car, and was pretty convinced I needed some suspension work as well. When I dropped my car off, I was immediately impressed by the guy working the counter (I believe Andrew)'s pleasant demeanor. I was even more impressed when he called me a couple hours later and said they'd checked out my suspension and it looked good, so I really just needed front brakes. He quoted a price that seemed more than fair, so I told him to go for it. Picked up my car later that day, and have been stopping like a dream ever since. The whole experience was super easy and straightforward, and I really appreciate their honesty in not trying to sell me any services I didn't need, even when I was literally asking for it. Will definitely take my cars there in the future for any further work I need done!

Great customer service! They provide quality service for affordable prices. They are honest in their work and provide what you truly need vs completing a sale. They don’t try to up sale or give you services you don’t need.

I asked around about a good local mechanic, and heard good things about this place, and made an appointment for a second opinion on a few things with my Dodge. Andrew seemed very polite and thorough on the phone and knowledgeable and patient in person. Even the mechanics have above average customer service; which from my experience is rare. They did a fix for less than anyone else; greased some parts at my request and even though I told them to add additional charge to my bill for inspecting suspension parts that either didn't need to be fixed or I wanted to fix myself, they refused to charge me extra. Pigs didn't fly but this auto repair shop truly seemed HONEST and FAIR. Thank you! I'll be bringing any other vehicle needs to them first from now on.

Andrew is fantastic on the phones! Great follow up and customer service. All their mechanics are well spoken and courteous too! Timely service and reasonable prices. They gained a lifetime customer in me and my family!

This is hands down a 5 ⭐⭐⭐ ⭐⭐ business. The employees/ mechanics are very professional. When I requested my car be tuned up with the needed repair? They told me my car looked great and didn't require a tune up. I am pointing this out only to impress upon people that this is not a shop that will do work on your vehicle just to "pad the bill." As a female not acquainted with automotive repairs? I feel very comfortable recommending this shop to other females that need a trustworthy auto shop! The team at River City Auto does an excellent job with all their work and have fair pricing. They go out of their way to make sure that your vehicle is in good condition and you can drive home safely without trying to gouge your wallet. I've been getting oil changes and had brake work done by them for years. They helped me identify various issues with my car while doing their oil changes and even took care of some of the items free of charge. I will always recommend all friends and family to come here for auto maintenance needs.

This place is totally awesome. Andrew is very thorough in explaining thinks. He is very polite and positive in serving you. Also the work they did on my vehicle was originally supposed to be a transmission change. Roundup doing that with an coolant flush and oil change in which the oil filter housing to be be replaced again.

Chad and Andrew (& others) at River City do an exceptional job every time I'm there. They're kind, efficient, patient, and always figure out what that weird noise is coming from. Their prices are fair, attitudes are great, and time frames are reasonable. I highly recommend them to anyone!

Had my oil changed...very reasonably priced for full synthetic. Andrew was very nice and got a cup of coffee offered. I asked them to look at a problem I thought my truck had and will be getting that taken care of. Highly recommend this place. Very personable!

If I could give these guys more than 5 stars, I would. River City Auto is one of the friendliest and knowledgeable mechanic shops I have ever been to. These guys know their stuff and they helped me get my 2012 Grand Cherokee back to where it needs to be with little hassle and great customer service. If you own a used car in the area or the dealership is giving you the run-around, make an appointment to see these guys and get squared away. A+

I wouldn't go anywhere else for my car repairs. I'm In fact, my entire family services their cars here and we keep referring people. The guys working there have excellent customer service and the business has competitive pricing for oil changes and repairs. They never push you to buy unecessary stuff or do repairs before they're needed-- they simply say it straight! No need to worry about finding an awesome, reliable, and honest mechanic again.

Excellent customer service, Andrew is great to work with. My quote was nearly 30% lower than the first few I got elsewhere. Very reasonable, I’ve done two repairs with them now and would definitely recommend!

I have now had 2 great experiences at this shop. First they fixed my transmission and it cost less than 200$ dollars. 2nd they diagnosed my other cars problems for free. It had a bad head gasket and car was only worth 2,500 so it was not worth the repair. EXCELLENT service a great company!

Brought my car in to have them look it over. They did it for free and gave me very descriptive reviews of what they found They printed off the list of parts they said I needed and gave them to me, then continued to talk with me about looking at cheaper, after market products, and helped explain the necessity of each repair in a very clear, non jargon filled manner. Very pleasant to have dealt with. Not condescending at all like a lot of mechanics.

We were in town from Upstate New York and our car started shaking so bad it felt like it was going to fall apart. Doing 70 mph on the expressway the noise from the tires was deafening. I thought it might be a CV joint and/or wheel bearing. River City Auto came highly recommended from a trusted friend and they far exceeded our expectations. Not only was it not an expensive repair like I was expecting, the main issue was loose lug nuts. The noise was from a bad wheel bearing but the price was under what I expected. They had every opportunity to inflate the price and didn't. They were very honest and quick, rare qualities to find in mechanics these days. If I ever find myself needing auto repair work done in the Walker, MI area again I know who to trust!
