Started around 1976 by Jerry & Judy Baker. The Bakers started Jerry's Towing to tow disabled vehicles into Jerry's Garage for repairs. Keith Baker took over in 1983. Expanded to Fremont in 1995, renting from Michigan Produce Haulers, occupying the rear building on Market st. In 1997, we purchased the Cherry st. property that we currently operate from. Jerry's Towing & Recovery, Inc. has four locations in Newaygo County to better serve all of our clients throughout West & Central Michigan. Jerry's Towing offers 24/7/365: Light, Medium, & Heavy Duty; Towing, Transport, & Road Service. Jerry's Towing & Recovery saved the day! My dad's truck was stuck at the bottom of the property. The incline of the hill and slippery wet grass did not allow this beast of a 4X4 Dodge Ram make it safely up the hill. Jerry came with their awesome off-road rescue vehicle and were able to pull it safely up the hill. All while not making the situation worse, from not ripping up the grass more to being level headed and confident to get the job done. We really appreciate their service. Kind of ironic my dad's name is Jerry haha!
Trailer tire blew out on M37 on the way to Baldwin....beautiful Saturday, but not to spend roadside. Called Jerry's who picked up new tire from Family Farm and Home - Newaygo for us and swapped it out! Back on the road in about 60 mins! You guys rock! Thank you.
