They help us with a repossession, as we are in Florida, and even when repo fees are a little high in Grand Rapids, they gave the best price I could find, they also wait me more than a month I think with no storage fee as was really hard to transport the car because we dont have the keys, thank you for all your help guys, God bless you
It was fun bidding, but when it came to the end my name was on as the winning bid but when I checked my email it said I lost to someone else. 2nd time this happened. Also noticed the other vehicle I was bidding on didn't say that bid was met until after all the bidding was over and 10 minutes before that my email said I was outbid even though my name was last on bid..

In short, just like all the other reviews. The guy in the office “Mike” is a very unpleasant guy to work with. He’s very short with responses, and seems to just be an angry person in general. Im not sure what he has going on but it doesn’t seem fair to bring into the work place.
That’s pretty sad of you, Mike to close My son’s fiancé’s account because they were in the shower and I answered their phone so they would not miss your call. It would’ve benefited both of you . How can you erase a third parties account when they did nothing wrong that’s not in the rulebook anywhere just because a person answers another person‘s phone. Don’t mean that that is their account. I think it would be fair to unlock their account because I had nothing to do with it
Stole $500 out of my wallet that was in the car they repoed. Paid over $2k to get the car back and when they gave me my belongings I was missing all the cash in my wallet. They were rude and yelled at us upon arrival anyways then when asked about the missing money they said someone else probably stole it but they're on private property with cameras and no one else had gotten into the car for the couple days it was on their lot. Won't replace the missing money of course
Car was towed/repossessed that's on us but my sisters wallet was in the car. When we went to get the car back all cash was missing from wallet and it was a large amount. Credit cards and debit cards still in wallet but cash is gone. Owner said well maybe it was taken before we took it no because sister had just dropped off the kids at daycare and school and came inside to finish getting ready for an appointment. On top of that the wallet along with other items from the car was just in a garbage bag and not locked up safe. As a owner/manger would think to lock up a wallet at least. Very unprofessional and untrustworthy
Mike of M and W Auction. Left a salty taste after a purchase of an automobile sale. I purchased an automobile from his company. I signed all the proper documents needed for the sale and was told a particular amount for the final price. After paying the agreeing amount signing the documents and leaving with the car along with a copy of the title( as I paid for m & w to turn in the title to sos) I received a phone from their office at the end of day I purchased the automobile, they stated they made a clerical error and I owed $1378 additional on the automobile or they would not turn turn the title into MI SOS Office as required. It seems like extortion or being strong armed or even a honest mistake with the total which it is not the consumers responsible to pay for a clerical error when the all the documents have been signed and paid in full. Be carful when purchasing anything from this company. Buyer beware. Be very aware that they may make errors on you two. The owner Mike who is not personable one bit was cold threatening demanding and very rude and I quote , “ pay it or I will not turn in your title to sos.” I have to now file complaint and deal with a person who has no knowledge of consumer law nor does he understand the amount of fines and fees attached to the complaint.
Over the years I've purchased a couple cars from this public auction, while family and friends have also bought vehicles from there as well. I was lucky to have gotten very good deals on the cars I bought, but it would be smart to make sure to bring someone mechanically inclined to inspect potential issues a car might have if you aren't knowledgeable on that subject (line myself). I have only been to the on site weekly auction, not their online auction , but it was a lot less intimidating than i anticipated. I think the business is ran by good people who are not trying to take advantage of an inexperienced female like so many others when dealing with vehicles. It's also nice having a weekly list on their website which details not only the exact vehicles that are up for the next auction but it also tells you whether it's a repossession, seizure, or private seller. The next time I'm looking for another vehicle to purchase this will be my first option.

Unprofessional especially gentlemen in office that answers the phone you might want to get yourself checked because the business runs with people buying your items/paying fees, not you getting paid to talk how ever you want, with your attitude! If your thinking about purchasing something from this auction, best bet is to go there and fully check it out as they do not do a great job stating facts at all.(almost every car they post they write runs average which give or take car could be half way dead or run actually OK it runs average! also damage is not pointed out, they will say minor scratches,dings ect, save your self a headach and go there if you really want to buy something.) Its as if they are working for the people that bring their cars there which makes sense, right? if you sell there car, youl get paid! theyl be happy bring you another one BUT what they dont understand is if you screw someone they wont recommend you, buy from you again, tell someone to buy from you and youl sell less. AS COUPLE OTHER REVIEWS SAID THANKS BUT NO THANKS!
We won a nissan murano off their auction site spent 2300 dollars on it that's included taxes because they tax you a extra 150. Now on their site they explained how it ran average and no problems with vehicle. Since we had it we needed breaks really bad the stirring wheel shook. Now it broke down for second time after charging the battery over night and then picking the vehicle back up on the side of the road was fully charged . A few days later broke down in the middle of the street again and now it needs a new alternator. We of tired of buying from people who keep secrets just to get a extra buck. Sad to say but this company is not trustworthy we also won a dirt bike that we are going to pass on..done dealing with you guys.. Thanks a lot but no thanks!!!
Have had 2 encounters with them the first the employee was polite and remained professional and was very informative.the second encounter not so much he was rude disrespectful and gave no regards to my children while useing profane laungage when told your on private property and the cops was called he peeled out and hollered profane and racial words out his window. Waiting to go get my belongings and to give him a peace of my mind and bring this to the managers attention. Doesnt matter what the case is you have no right to disrespect anyone or their children because you broke the law. I refuse to allow anyone to disrespect me or my home or my children so for that i will be to speak with a manager till i am heard and someone does something about this employee.
Not upfront about fees! AND ONLY ACCEPTS CASH....BUT WONT TELL YOU UNTIL YOU ARE THERE! Went to pick up repossession and paid the insane repo fee and then they tacked on $150 since the car was on their lot for a couple days....really? Couldnt take the time out of your busy day to mention that before we drive 80miles over there thinking we were ok to pick it up? Then they have the nerve to tell me they will not accept anything but cash? What kind of stupid business are you running? Cant afford the 1-3% in credit/debit card transactions on your ridiculously high fees?
Straight forward auctions. The front desk does a good job trying to answer any questions you may have. If you aren't a dealer you kind of get a cold shoulder.
GREAT auctions! They are always run very professionally and the quality of items is always appealing. The staff is incredibly intelligent and a true pleasure to work with. Before, during and after the events, I can always trust their expertise. Highly recommend
Had an amazing experience working with these guys! I came to the table not having much experience at all, but they were able to answer any and all questions I had. Extremely nice staff that were a pleasure to work with. Wouldn't go anywhere else with my business!
The guys there were great to work with, easy going and fast. They seem to have a answer for all my questions and I can always count on them to have quality items at their auction each month. What a great Michigan family business!
