I can't say thank you enough. I'm new to Michigan and came across Hilltop Repair from their sponsorship of Fiddler on the Roof. This shop provided an honest quote and fixed my 2021 Ford Expedition quickly and correctly. It's great to find a place I can trust all my automotive repairs to.

Had a vehicle drop off and the lady took me back to talk to a guy that had his back to me the whole time. Stated he would look at it on Monday. No call back. Called them on Thursday to see what was wrong. He stated it was the engine. He was questioned about the tests he performed and several were not done. We decided to go somewhere else and when we picked up the vehicle he state he wasn’t for sure what was wrong but charged $60 to look at it! We have gone there in the past but not anymore! When talking to someone look at them, do the test to see what is really wrong and if you don’t want the work just tell people so it’s not sitting in the parking lot for 2 weeks!
After several attempts to fix AC by replacing new lines and always not successful. It was reported to Hilltop that refrigerate was leaking from lines by oil change specialists. Marv inspected and reported that nothing was wrong despite air not being cold. Returned car on November 28 for two days. Staff reported an o ring was the problem. AC light still flashing.
Needed headlights replaced while out of town. They came in just to do it. Literally had it done in no time. And charged an extremely great rate. I would take anything to them if I lived here. Such friendly and helpful folks.
Worst experience ever! Rude and unprofessional. Car broke down on I96. Progressive and tow driver chose this repair shop. Owner rant and complained about where car was delivered in parking lot and location of keys. Told to get our car off his property. He was upset over things we had no control over. Towed car to another shop.
I have been wrenching on cars since I was 14 years old. Learned from dad and grandpa, and have done most of my own repairs since I began driving 25 years ago. As family life has got busier, I don't have the time to do a lot of these repairs myself and I always hesitated taking my car in to get worked on somewhere because many mechanics I've dealt with have been dishonest and have not correctly diagnosed or repaired the vehicle. At Hilltop, I have experienced the highest level of service including courtesy, professionalism, knowledge, and an experienced team of employees. I have had no issues with any of the work they've performed on my many vehicles and I have, and will continue to refer friends, family and business colleagues to Hilltop.
We had moved away from G.R. and come back to visit, when I had a wheel bearing go out. Hilltop got me in quickly and got my car back on the road the next day. In spite of the fact I was from out of town, they were friendly, quick and did the work at a reasonable cost.
I continue to be blown away by incredible job Marv, Tim and the boys at Hilltop do on a daily basis. I take all of my vehicles to these guys and have never been disappointed. It’s truly refreshing to see that exceptional workmanship, prompt turnaround, honesty and integrity still exist and it’s the reason I tell everybody I can to take their vehicles there. Always had a great service for a fair price. Been able to get some fairly tricky repairs done. Understands and repairs the car. Fair place to deal with.
Paid around 2600$ for my truck to get fixed not even a month later my truck was broke down with the same issue. I guess when doing the work to the rear end on my car. They seen a rusty spot nearly broke. Instead of fixing it right they worked around it. Leaving me with out a car right before the winter. When i asked if they would fix it they said yes but I need a new part costing 1200$ without the labor. Instead of paying them again I searched and found the part for 150$ and 175$ to ship it to me. I would never go there. They clearly like to rip people off. Thank hilltop! Yeah a learning experience smh that was my money!
They are awesome and so kind. My son bought a bad car and they took the time to help us, explain things. They were fast to respond and are so willing to help. They have fixed my cars a couple of times and I would so go back to them!
Its hard to find an honest shop now days, but I haven't had to worry about it sense Marv and his team have worked on multiple of my vehicles. From motor replacement on a durango to diesel work on my Dodge. I've always been taken care of and would recommend the guys at Hilltop anytime.
Been here twice now and I love this shop. First time was for front end suspension work, they were easily half the cost of the dealership and the quoted price was the actual amount due. Second time was for a vibration, Marv got me in immediately and diagnosed within 5 minutes the issue. The super fast service is great, add to that the concern they have for your vehicle being safe and there is no question that this is the place to take your vehicle.
Have taken vehicles to Marv and his gang for many repairs. They are honest and will do an excellent job. Recently thought my car needed repair but they explained that what I thought was going to be an expensive repair was actually something else and no repairs were currently needed. Have you ever had a mechanic say you don't need a repair? Because they do such a great job, they are always busy and reservations are helpful.
Marv and Tim have been great to work with. I had an issue another local shop was unable to diagnose. I stopped by Hilltop to see if they could pinpoint the noise I was hearing. Hilltop was able to not only able to find the problem but also discovered a more serious issue with some front end steering components. I definitely recommend Hilltop to my family and friends now. Great job guys!

Hilltop is honest, fair, and thorough. They have never suggested work that wasn't necessary, and they always have up to date equiment and tools. I have used them for both my personal and business vehicles since they opened.
