After waiting almost 3 hours for another wrecker service to come change my tire, I canceled. I immediately called Phelps. I was extremely amazed how quickly Shawn arrived on the scene. It felt like I just hung up from the dispatcher, and he was already there. KUDOS to Shawn and the dispatcher!!!
Driver was quick to respond to my call for help. My daughter got stuck on side of the road in the snow and Phelps came to the rescue. Thought I was going to have to wait a long time but they were there on site very quickly. Driver was very courteous and helpful.
They are the absolute best with reasonable prices. Was told by another company tow truck driver he couldn't get me out of the ditch after him trying for 30mins. Phelps got me out with no problems
Our 2023 Traverse broke down in front of Dollar General before Christmas. Phelps Towing responded quickly and was very polite, and considerate during a rough day. A great towing company! We’ve used many towing companies, Phelps Towing is by far the better of them all. A big thanks to Tony and Brenden for being so supportive during a tough time.
They sent not only one but a 2nd truck to help us on a cold windy 630am Monday Morning after Christmas we would not all fit in the cab for a tow home (I thought we had a spare) so they sent a flat bed with a big cab with heat cranking. Thanks again for the help and going out of your way to get us all home with our car at one time.
Ever since Phelps sold the towing company its went to hell in a hand basket! I wouldn’t recommend them to tow a broken bicycle! these people are shady and do shady business..
Irresponsible tow drivers. Neglected to properly hook up a family vehicle, had it roll back into another car and will not take responsibility. Most likely unlicensed or expired license as they will not work with insurance. Stay clear of this shady business.
They towed a car to a repair facility and lost control of it and it crashed into my car. Told they are not going to fix my car or the other persons car. Told to turn it into my insurance for the repair. So now my insurance rate goes up be cause of the neglect.
If I could give 0 stars, I would. These people are crooks. They dumped my vehicle and it hit another vehicle in the process and said we're both S.O.L. refused to give me their insurance details and blamed everyone else but themselves for their negligence. Save yourself court costs and go with Garver towing instead. Trust me.
Phelps Towing was amazing! They were incredibly friendly from the very first call and arrived much quicker than I expected. Jeffrey was professional, helpful, and made the whole situation so much less stressful. Pricing was very reasonable too, especially for how fast and efficient the service was.
To start off with I had called in roadside assistance for a flatbed tow truck they told me 40 minutes 2 hours later it shows up just to tell me that he got a police call someone else is on their way and then a regular tow truck pulls up goes the hook up and smacks my bumper said my truck sits too low well that's why I asked for a flatbed to start off with and then to come down to it they canceled because they didn't have another flatbed available definitely a unorganized service I would never use them again
Tow truck driver Randy was friendly, very understanding of my situation, didn't mind the wait in the cold before towing as I had to wait for the police to arrive. Amazing driver! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Really efficient, okay-price and professional, all characteristics all good businesses need! I was over at an event in pontiac michigan while I left my car behind in between Jackson and Ann Arbor Michigan, I just needed a tow to the firestone in Jackson to see if my car was repairable the following day, and I was quickly able to get a tow in a less than 5 minute phone call for what it felt like, it was a 30 minute drive and they charged me $100 ish for the service which was blessing as I already got scammed for $300 looking for mobile mechanics, I recommend these people if your in the area, stuck looking for a tow, these people will get you right!!
Arrived exactly on time. Even diagnosed my problem before towing found out. It was my alternator. 261,000 on my car you never know if you’re gonna eventually have to buy a new car. This guy saved me a car payment highly recommend Phelps towing. Very professional highly recommend to anyone that needs a tow in Jackson, Michigan
Being stranded on the side of the road in the middle of the night in the rain is always the start of a horror movie. Unfortunately, the twist of my story was that I was with my mom and sisters on the way back from a second opinion appointment for her terminal cancer. Thankfully, I was able to get them home, but I waited for another tow company for two hours and they never showed up. So when I called Phelps and they sent Shawn out within an hour, I was already emotionally spent. Thank you for your kindness and for serving people at their most vulnerable times.

Called these guys because when i got home i noticed i had a flat tire. They were able to get me back up & running with putting a spare on. Even found out that i have a nail in my tire. Trenton was absolutely amazing! He put my spare on quickly. Thanks a ton!
Patrick was so friendly, quick, and amazing at his job. He was there within 20 min of me calling, and had my truck unlocked in under 5. It was way cheaper thab my other quotes, i will forever be using Phelps for my emergencies, and requesting Patrick forsure!
My brand new tires not even a month old and one popped randomly not hitting anything on the free way. I am new to the area and was not sure of any tow places. Called phelps and they were there in 15 min or less. Very friendly and made me and both my kids feel very safe
