I have personally never been to another repair facility that more honest, or more dependable than George’s! From towing, repairs, unlocking your car when you leave the keys in it and lock it, flat tire changes, you name it! If it’s an automotive mechanical issue, they have you covered. Hands down the absolute best in town!!!
I absolutely love the service the owner (at least I think he's the owner) provides. I was in an accident, airbags deployed, and with a passenger. The driver showed up quickly, with the right equipment, and even provided us with a ride home despite it being in the opposite direction.
Later, when the vehicle was deemed to be a total loss, he (the owner, I think) took the time to facilitate helping me remove the wheels to swap the factory tires back on them, and reinstalled them before Copart came to pick it up
I give them my full recommendation!
Great service, Chad went above and beyond helping us out as we were stranded out on 127. Temperature was 8 degrees. Chad made sure we were safe and taken care of before he left us. I highly recommend Georges service.

On Dec,1st 2023 needed my 1999 Chevy Conversion Van towed from a gas station and they arrived in 10 minutes and towed to my house. Highly recommend and they are cheaper then most. Thanks George's Tow Service
Towed me for $65 wich is cheaper than almost all well known towing companies, no hassle wait, they said tops of 45 minutes- there in 25. Delivered without damages and without losing my key. They also didn't overcharge me. Thank you for saving my car. My strut at the top broke on my passenger side. Photo is for reference.
I have had to get my car towed twice by George's. Both times I was in Jackson and both times I needed it towed to Dansville. I went thru Progressive to get to them. I had to wait but they were quick with service anyways. George's made a damage done to my car via towing right, by compensating my local autoshop. I definitely recommend them!
George’s was recommended to me by my warranty company for my Jeep. (Really wish I could remember the mechanics name who assessed my Jeep Compass ) but he was extremely informative and helpful. Not only did he not charge me for his time because he couldn’t be 100% sure that was the issue he gave suggestions on what the problem may be . If by chance he does read this just wants to say after warranty company having 2 more opinions it’s concluded you were correct on the electrical issue it’s the fuse box or whatever you called it thank you for all your help !
My truck got broke down in Jackson and when I called this company they were there within 10 minutes. The gentleman was friendly and I had my German shepherd with me which was no problem for him. He was quick and efficient. I would highly recommend this company to anybody.

Took 5 hours to change rear brake pads. Very Unprofessional. Had to personally go buy all parts Bc they didn’t have in stock . Even had to supply my own brake fluid . Wouldn’t recommend anyone to go here for car services . Untrained and unprofessional.
Hands down the best tow service in Jackson. Everyone is polite and friendly from the folks who answer the phone to the drivers who get you unstuck. The treat you with respect and do not make you feel dumb because you locked your keys in the car or got stuck in the mud. They are fast and ready to help. It is nice to know there are more options out here than just the big guys. I like to spend my money with local companies and these guys are right here in town on Cooper Street. It looks like they also have a garage where you can have your vehicle serviced as well if need be. Top notch in my book, and the only wrecker service I will be calling from now on. George's is an awesome local business that has never let me or my family down. They have rescued us more than once and they have always been quick, courteous, and professional. Once again today they were there for us in a difficult situation.
They were in the area and they were able to come unlock my vehicle promptly. He couldn't get it unlocked through the door and had to wedge the door open at the top and go in that way. It ended up scratching the paint at the top of the cab where the door meets it, but he got in and I was able to get back in my vehicle at a reasonable rate.
I always use George's for my car repair and towing. One day I needed to call them because my car broke down on I-94 during rush hour traffic. Josh was there within minutes. His first priority was to get me safely in the cab of his truck. Definitely the first to call if one of my children's car breaks down.
The owner of the company Has no compassion for the people who have just lost their vehicles, and that have been in accidents. We called for our bill after he had the car all morning and said it would take a few hours to get the bill together, that was at 2 they closed at 5...we live an hour away where the title was so we had no time to get back before he charged us for another day of storage. Not only did he make sure he had the title before we were able to get our belongings out of the vehicle but for scrapping the vehicle he wouldn't let us get our $500 radio or $300 battery that have been recently replaced because it was going to the junkyard. The battery i get, But what gives him the right to our belongings because our vehicle was totaled. We didn't ask for their company..JIMMYS TOWING is the way to go. To get our belongings it was $245 for a tow 6 miles away, and one days of storage.

And to a private location...tha tv hook plus the tow 14 miles away was $85. So how ignorant does this guy think his customers are. This dude who is the owner could barely read let alone run a business..BEWARE
George's is literally steps from where I work. Today's cold weather brought on low pressure in my tires and I didn't want to drive all over on my lunch trying to find a gas station with a working air pump and chance hitting a pot hole and get a flat. At George's, they were were so helpful and more than happy to help me.

Called them to tow a truck I was buying, they asked me if there was air in the tires witch I wasn't sure about and told them bring an air tank just in case or flat bed. They showed up with a regular tow truck and a empty air tank and said there wasn't anything they could do and charged me $40 for doing nothing. Ive always used them but the last few times they haven't been customer friendly and very rude. Will never use them again.
I have never been disappointed in the care I've received from George's. Always timely, like when Josh arrived 15 after my phone call to unlock the keys from my car this morning.(probably for the 50th time) Always willing to go the extra mile, like picking my car and myself up from back roads on the way to Chelsea when my tire popped and driving us to the tire store (Josh again last summer.) If you're looking for honest, reasonable, quality care for your car then look no further.

Dealt with Cody, he responded and was to my location in under 10 minutes! I was also greeted with great customer service. I recommend anyone who needs a tow go through George's. They are the cheapest in town and also have the fastest response time I've experienced. Also ask for Cody Hill, he said he's only been there for a couple months but he seemed like a veteran.
Fast and reliable service! I hit a deer and had to get a tow. I called George's and they picked up my car in Brooklyn and took it to Jackson. As soon as I called they were here it seemed. Great service! Highly recommended!

When a company states that a certain kind of customer comes in last that kind of says something about them.
Recently when our Van was totaled on I 94 in a black ice and low visibility related accident stretching over a mile, the state police called George's to get cars off the freeway.
While trying to figure everything out with the insurance the van was at their parking lot for 2 days. For the storage charges and towing less than 3 miles (from near elm st exit 141) they charged us $375.
Even when dealing with the owner we experienced very poor customer relations and a hostile attitude towards AAA. All in all, this particular company a traumatic experience that much worse--if you have AAA beware.
