There’s basically (6) different levels of stuff you would never expect to see in a little town like Crystal Falls . Quite amazing. You won’t leave empty handed! Awesome fun.
I lost my wallet and the owner called the cops on me. I've shopped at antique stores around the country and even helped manage one. This was by far my worst experience. A while after leaving the shop I noticed my fanny pack was open and my wallet was missing. This was alarming, especially as I was only in town visiting. I retraced my steps through the store (it's large with three floors and many rooms). I didn't spot it so I asked the owner (Charlie?) if she could check her security footage. Charlie refused saying she was too busy. I was the only customer in the store but offered to wait for a better time. Charlie still refused. Bizarre. I decided to keep looking on my own but eventually she tracked me down and told me to get out. My bad day was becoming worse. Charlie took out her phone and said she was calling the cops. I'd already called them to report the missing wallet so told her I'd be happy to talk to them. I eventually left after leaving my name and number. Thinking the best of Charlie, she was either suffering from indigestion or thought I was shop lifting. The only reason I'm leaving two stars instead of one is because the store itself, unlike its owner, was charming

What an amazing storefront. Went in over the weekend and explored for some time. Found super unique items at super good prices. The woman working the store was very gracious and helpful. Would definitely like to stop in again for another adventure
What a fantastic antique store! At first it seemed kind of pricey, but the women there was more than willing to deal. She gave me a great deal on these two mini craft pan am planes that I will be working on this week. Definitely recommend.
If you’re looking for anything and everything this is the place to go it was interesting learning about the building before it became the store..and yes “the sprit “of the place is very friendly..lots of variety and great prices as well..
Came in on Tuesday with all the girls in my family. We are all from Georgia & Alabama. Had fun looking around. 3 stories of lots and lots of cool treasures. Wow, you need to go through more than once to see everything. Give yourself plenty of time. Beautiful, historic building with many interesting pieces. We had fun and half of us left with something purchased. The lady working was super nice (long blonde hair), sorry didn’t get her name. We will see you next summer.
Fun shop, many, many interesting vintage and antique items, spanning several decades. Great place to buy a special gift, furnishings, or something that makes you smile! No trip to Crystal Falls is complete without a stop at Charlie's.
Absolutely phenomenal, largest selection of antiques that I've ever seen. All the things that anyone above age of 40 and above will remember from childhood. Beautiful artwork. 3 floors of wondering. A must stop and see
Charlie's Emporium offers a variety of old, vintage, and unique items that are comparably prices, yet with some room to negotiate for a sale-able price. Have visited several times and have found items that fit our style. An interesting place to visit and shop.
I had broke an item in the store looking for a price. The price was not on the actual item. I picked up the broken pieces and said I was sorry and I would pay for the item. Even after saying to the lady I would pay for the item she was very RUDE. REALLY! I am paying you full price accidents happen. I could have just walked away.

Nice merchandise, unusual pieces, displayed beautifully. Clean. So much to choose from and Barbara, the owner is very friendly and helpful. Very happy with the things I have brought in to sell on consignment.
I would give 10 stars if I could! Love LOVE this place! You could spend a whole weekend and not see every little gem in this place! Three (3) FLOORS of treasures and something for everyone in every price range! Rented a cottage with some family in Iron River in October. The weather kinda sucked so this store was just about the only ray of sunshine in our otherwise gloomy weekend. If you are anywhere near this place - this needs to be on your list! Oh by the way - no falls in Crystal falls - I checked :(
Charlies Emporium was a great stop to make! They have a little bit of everything, mostly antiques, but something for everyone, and will have you looking for hours
A nice shop with a large inventory of artifacts, decorations and furniture from the near past. Treasury seekers be aware that everything seems to be priced at the top end of the range of values for that item. Not likely to find any hidden treasures here. That said, items are fairly priced and the staff member I met was friendly and knowlegable.

My mom and I came to the UP to do some photographing. We stopped in at the emporium and had a wonderful time looking around at all of the neat antiques. We then realized that they had a bow and arrow range next door and had a great time giving that a go!
