This place is a joke I called looking for a transmission they said they had I called back to verify that they had it so I drove an hour and half just for them to tell me that they didn't have it but I had a good friend bring me there to pick it up and I was beginning to think that they were playing the race card because my friend is of a different race and made him feel uncomfortable
Fast, friendly service! My repair shop declared my car dead because they couldn't find a critical part. A friend referred me to Wandel and within an hour of my phone call to inquire about a part, I got a call back saying he had the part off the car and in his shop. Price was very reasonable! Thank you Wandel, you literally saved the life of my VW Beetle!!
Very polite and helpful to get me what I needed. I appreciate not paying the crazy amount for a simple part. I live local and love to spend local, especially when they were so helpful. Thank you for your hospitality.
I called about a part I needed. They told me they would have to go out in the yard and see if it was still on the car. They called me back within 30 minutes to confirm they had it. The price was good and the said they can ship it to me as long as I paid shipping. They took my credit card number over the phone and the part was at my door in less than 48 hours. Part was good. Price was good. The 2 guys I talked to were professionals. I will use them again if I can't find the parts near me.
Not helpful at all. Asked for a power steering rack and all I got was a immediate dont have it, think it takes longer to search a catalog of cars and parts they should have documented. Another website claimed they had it. Nevertheless didn't take down part listings or didnt want to help me. Years back, I went in for a pump, and the clerk was rude. They are sometimes worth going to.
great place a lot of old & newer cars & trucks. needed a rack & pinion they had it for a $150 cheaper then anyone else . had part off ready to go glad I found them
Wandel's has what I need when I need it. I've gotten parts here for years, today needed a battery and they hooked me right up. Very reasonably priced. Bonus points for having dog on site!
I called for a part, he checked and said he had it. I drive there early the next morning and he checked again and said he didn't have one. Wth? This dude has destroyed the favorite junk yard for miles around. I remember pulling parts there when I was a kid and starters were $15 if you pulled your own. It was always hopping! Management changed and the prices went up and the service became a joke! For a good junkyard go outside ionia county. Not to the north! Try east. It'll save you time and money!!
My van had been acting up, and when people in area wouldn't even help jump my car, I found out from a friend about this place. Reminded me of the shop my dad used to work in. Once I got the battery installed at home, and the van started, I cried. It had been a bit since my car worked, and when I got hospitalized for eight days, I came home to the dead car. I didn't know what to do because I couldn't afford a brand new battery, but I'm so thankful a friend telling me about this place
I called this place looking for a part, and the guy was very rude and basically no help at all. Had no way to confirm they actually had the part because they don’t inventory, was obviously not going to spend the five minutes to walk out and check, and wouldn’t even give a price for the part if they did have it. If they want to be rude and unhelpful over the phone, I’m certainly not driving there to be told they don’t even actually have what I need. Don’t waste your time calling this place, and definitely don’t bother going there. They don’t deserve the business.
I was quoted a price on a part. Drove an hour to get it and they raised the part price 20 percent! I left the part with them! I don't play those games!! Be wary of this place!!!
Bad customer service.. call and try to get information for parts on a car. Put on hold almost 10mins and when I ask, instantly almost have an answer of No, for parts I need.
Its ok. The guy usually has all the parts i need but he just really seems like he hates his job. Very rude to people ive walked in on him being rude to a customer on the phone when i was there. Other than that it is an ok place not the best but itll get you by. Decent prices too.
I do a lot of picking and scavenging at auto salvage yards and this one was by far the most rude and overly priced place I have been to. One of the employees, Craig, charged $75 for a few small trim pieces and emblems off of a vehicle that had been rotting out in the lot for over 20 years. Almost all of the pieces were either damaged, cracked or needed new paint. When I counter offered, what I knew the parts were actuallly worth he was very rude. Neither the customer service nor the price of parts is worth the drive to this place.
If i could give a negative rating they definitely earned it. Absolutely terroble costomer service and sell you junk and wont honor their own return policy! Stay away from this place!!!!
reasonably priced, good quality. always have what I need, and when I need it.... it doesn't take them long to get it. definitely going back for more parts!
