Stockbridge Auto care is the best place to get your care worked on! They are knowledgeable, friendly, caring, and great to work with. I ran over a rock and tore up the underside of my new car. I was so upset and couldn’t believe I didn’t see the rock. Josh was great and put the vehicle up so I could take the photos for the insurance adjuster. Unfortunately the pictures were not good enough to show the complete damage and I received a check for about a third of the total cost. Josh went ahead and ordered the parts and did the work, fixed my car, without payment, waiting for my insurance to pay. Josh held the drive shaft and catalytic converter and exhaust so I could take pictures and send them to USAA to get the correct amount of money to pay the bill. I have my dream car back good as new, the car I waited my whole life to own. Thank you soooo much! You are awesome!
Took my truck in to replace manifold. Got it back and engine light came on which was not on before i took it in. Replaced spark plug and ignition coil. Did not resolve problem. Took it to another place and found that when they put the spark plug wire back on #6 boot they bent the eletrode that goes on the end of the plug looked like a hurry up job to me. I feel they.should remburse me the 168.00 they charged me. Don't waste your time or money on this place.
I was in a jam. Broken valve stem fixing to burst. No one wants to help me and some didn't even answer the phone. Stockbridge Auto Care helped me. It was also Friday afternoon. I was very thankful they took the time to put a new valve stem in my rim. When no one else could take the time to help me, Stockbrige Auto Care did help me.
I rate them a 10 out of 10. This is a great business. Josh was awesome. He took great care of me. He was kind and respectful. He took great care of my car. Please take your vehicles to Stockbridge Auto Care. You will not be disappointed. Josh thank you for the great service and respect.
Called two days in a row asking for a quote on my F250. Guy forgot the first day, called back apologized and promised to quote me. And failed to call me back a second day in a row. What a joke!!!
This Business was helpful-drove me back and forth to appt- when I didn't have another way. The work was done in a timely and cost efficient way. Pleasant and courteous with easy access to garage.
I called them up and explained what was going on they practically troubleshoot my truck over the phone. Made an appointment for Tuesday but I drop my truck off on Monday they got it in and got it done a day early if I could give 10 stars I would give 10 stars. We have taking all of our vehicles up there and they Are honest good small town people.
Brought our truck in here, after seeing great reviews, to have them look at it and see what the noise could be, that the truck was making. After not hearing from them (but had drove by and saw it was being looked at) called them the next day and they say “yeah we’re not really sure what we’re looking at here” I said “well it’s making a noise and my boyfriend had told you he wanted you to check the front end and see what the noise could be coming from” they told me all they saw was a bad wheel bearing, my boyfriend called to clarify that they didn’t see anything going on with front end (as we didn’t think the noise was a wheel bearing) they say nope and replace wheel bearing.
We pick it up, truck is making the same noise (very loud obvious noise) still driving terrible. We call them, just brought it back, and now they say it’s his struts. You didn’t notice this last week?! After he just shelled out $350 for a wheel bearing. Very obvious they never drove the truck once to see if they fixed the problem. Totally bummed as we love to give our money to local places, but this was a total let down. Next time, I’d rather just pay double to have the work done by someone else.
They rebuilt the engine for my 1969 F100. Did an awesome job! Best shop for engine work I know of. We recently dropped off the engine from our Allis-Chalmers Model C tractor they are working on now. :) Wouldn’t trust it to anyone else!!
Took 2004 Honda Element for front and rear alignment. It's great when a shop doesn't come back to say you need more than you asked for and prices are reasonable. Excellent customer care too!
Although I've been frustrated with them before, when I made my comment they tried hard to change how I thought of them and redid the fix on our brakes on several occasions following the initial fix. I appreciate the fact that they are willing to try and make my experience better.
I agree with the earlier review. Stockbridge Auto Care is, by far, the best shop in our area. I used to do all my own repairs and a fairly decent shade tree mechanic. Due to health problems, I now have to rely on others for repairs. I have an older vehicle and am on a tight budget. They did an excellent job finding and repairing the defects in my minivan. I had a number of problems, in multiple systems, yet they found them all and repaired what needed repairing, without trying to pump up the price with unneeded parts and repairs. They're honest and do quality work. I trust them with my vehicle and recommend them to family and friends.
